  • The purpose of the study is to explore the psychological empowerment of the worker as a moderator to explain the link between knowledge sharing and innovative work behaviour within the telecommunication sector of Saudi Arabia. This study is based on a quantitative approach, having collected data through a series of questionnaires developed on previous studies. This study has applied Smart-Partial Least Squares (PLS) for the data analysis. The results revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge sharing and innovative work behaviour. The knowledge sharing increases the competencies of the workers, bringing about more creativeness and perfection. Furthermore, this study elaborates that psychological empowerment plays an important role as a moderator in making a strong relationship between knowledge sharing and innovative work behaviour. This study concluded that the innovative work behaviour in any organisation depends on the practice, experience, and capabilities of the workers and, most importantly, the interdepartmental knowledge shared amongst them. The sharing of knowledge psychologically empowers the worker to bring creativity, modernization and excellence in the work that affects the marginal productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction at a great extent. These factors provide long-run sustainability to business in a highly competitive market environment.

  • Traditional wisdom on how late industrialized countries follow the technology trajectories of preceding economies is in need of reformation as these countries have attained industrial leadership in a growing number of fields. However, current understandings about these countries' development of their emerging technologies have yet to investigate the divergence of idiosyncratic technology trajectories. The aim of this paper was to explore how their knowledge production strategies in emerging technology sectors are diverging. Specifically, this research examines the changing patterns of knowledge production in quantum technology in South Korea and China by developing a knowledge portfolio and knowledge strategic diagram. According to the knowledge portfolio, the relative literature position differs. In the knowledge strategic diagram, there are diverging patterns in the emerging keywords sector. This paper contributes to the literature by demonstrating the diverging strategies of late industrialized countries in their transition from catch-up to post-catch-up paradigms and provides policy implications for countries developing an idiosyncratic trajectory in emerging technology sectors.

They have a higher tendency to engage in entrepreneurial activities thus knowledge distribution from previous employment is necessary. Research design, data and methodology: This qualitative study using in-depth interview approach was carried out with five immigrant entrepreneurs from Bangladesh conducting business in Malaysia. The data were gathered and analysed using thematic analysis facilitated by ATLAS.ti software. Results: The findings provide useful insights on the significance of knowledge obtained during immigrant entrepreneurs' former employment in the host country, enabling them to identify the needed resources quickly to launch a successful business in a host country. Conclusions: This study contributes to the Knowledge Spillover Theory of Entrepreneurship specifically in the context of immigrant entrepreneurship who have former employment in the same business sector and a proposition is developed. For practicality, the findings provide some insights for immigrants who want to start businesses in the host country which allow them to identify and exploit entrepreneurial opportunities due to knowledge distribution at their former employment in the host country later facilitates successful business establishment there.

  • The main aim of the paper is to assess the level of financial literacy among business students. It further aims to investigate the role of external factors that may determine financial literacy. The external factors considered in this study are gender, grade point average, specialization, financial education, and financial socialization. Standard scales such as the Test of Financial Literacy, the Big Three, and other instruments were adapted to measure Financial Knowledge. Further, the study also explored relationships between several factors and the financial knowledge of students. These factors included a student's gender, specialization, number of finance or related courses studied, current Grade Point Average, and financial socialization. A total number of 303 valid responses were received through an online questionnaire administered to business students studying in a public university in the country. Statistical tests namely independent samples t-Test, one-way ANOVA, and correlation analysis were performed in SPSS 28.0. Results show that the overall financial knowledge of students is above average. Gender, number of finance or related courses, and financial socialization do not exhibit any significant relationship with financial knowledge. Current GPA and specialization show significant relationships. The findings of this study have important sectoral and research implications.

  • Knowledge has become an important resource for organization. The manufacturing industry is usually operated on the basis of business processes, and most workers are familiar with their own processes. The process-based approach, therefore, can provide an efficient way to capture and navigate knowledge. In this study, we focus on knowledge which may be missed during knowledge transfer among workers. For this, we propose a method for analyzing knowledge flow, which is passed among business processes. We propose a process-based knowledge management framework for analyzing knowledge flow, which employs a two-phase analysis: process analysis and knowledge flow analysis. A knowledge flow model, represented by Knowledge Flow Diagram, is proposed as a tool for representing knowledge. We formulate several semantics for knowledge flow modeling. We build the three-level schema: conceptual, logical, and physical in order to automate the knowledge model adaptive to knowledge management systems. The proposed approach is verified and illustrated through a case study on the manufacturing process of A Company.

To successfully attain companies' purpose via technology commercialization, a variety of knowledge which triggers and completes business activities are needed. This paper suggests a methodology to analyze problems and solutions around the technology commercialization process in terms of knowledge distribution status, especially focused on Korean SMC cases. The knowledge map of this paper is constructed from the knowledge networks and identifies problems and solutions of the target process. A case study for applying proposed concepts to SMC's cases is also performed by checking knowledge distribution status and extracting practical implications. This paper's ideas can be regarded as one of references for SMCs to prepare technology commercialization with guaranteeing facilitated knowledge distribution and utilization.

  • This paper suggests process knowledge management (PKM) which aims at lossless integration of business process management (BPM) and knowledge management (KM). To implement PKM, this paper suggests the concept of process knowledge and explores how to use them to extend the functionalities of knowledge management systems and process management systems by considering the lifecycle requirements of both knowledge and business processes. The framework and extended functionalities can provide a new corporate paradigm that combines the advantages of BPM and KM.
