Traditionally, like many people in mountain region of the Himalaya, the Lwang communities depend on mix of subsistence agriculture, animal husbandry, and seasonal migrant labor for their livelihoods. These traditional systems are characterized by low productivity, diverse use of available natural resources (largely for home consumption), limited markets, and some aversion for innovation. The potential to generate wealth through commerce has largely been untapped by these mountain residents and thus is undervalued in local and national economies. Introduction of organic tea farming is a part of Lwang community's several initiatives to break the vicious poverty cycle Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) played facilitating roles in all their efforts since beginning. In five years, the tea plantation emerged as a new means for secured a livelihood. This study aims to analyze the current practices in tea farming both in terms of farm management and soil nutrient status(technical) and the prosperity of the tea farmers (social). The technical aspect covers the soil and tea leaf analysis of various nutrients contents in the soil and tea leaf. Originally, the technical aspect of the study was not planned but later during the consultation with the advisor it was taken into consideration which added value to the research study. The sample were collected from different locations and analyzed on the field itself. The other part of the study i.e. the social aspect was done through questionnaire survey and focus group discussion. the tea farming provided them not only a new opportunity but also earned an identity in the region. This initiative was undertaken as a piloting measure. Now that the tea is in production with processing unit established locally, more serious consideration has to be given for better yield and economic prosperity. This research finding will help the community to analyze their efforts and make correction measures in tea garden management and application of fertilizer. It is also expected to fill up the gaps of knowledge and information required to reduce economic stresses and enhance capacity of farmers to make the tea farming a sustainable and beneficial business. The findings are expected to Sustainability of organic tea farming has direct impacts on biodiversity conservation compared to the other traditional farming practices that are more resource intensive. The study will also contribute to identify key action points required for reducing poverty while conserving environment and enhancing livelihoods
The purpose of this study is to explore the issues and alternatives in the promotion of space and exhibition support projects in visual arts, and to suggest an applicable direction of the government grant program. For this study, FGI and in-depth interviews were conducted in the direct beneficiaries of the grant program, the staff of the grant program, and the group of visual arts expert. As a result, the deliberation and selection of the support project should be carried out with sufficient time in consideration of the specificity of the support project. And the project requires to divide into two kinds of the projects based on the understanding of the social role and differentiation of non-profit exhibition spaces and private art museums. For the grant application and assessments, a long-term support is necessary to bring the capability and issues in efficient allocation of the budget, flexibility of budget item, and the budget shortfalls. Furthermore, the reliability between the grant program and beneficiaries needs to form a healthy partnership, and the evaluation criteria and eNARADOEUM system should be more practical and rationally established. Through this analysis, the implications of understanding the specificity of visual arts support projects, establishment of sustainable visual arts creation policies, and budget utilization were derived. Consequently, cultural and artistic support projects were directed to place more emphasis on efficiency than control, direction considering the position of consumers than suppliers, and long-term business planning rather than short-term perspective.
A corporate insolvency prediction model serves as a vital tool for objectively monitoring the financial condition of companies. It enables timely warnings, facilitates responsive actions, and supports the formulation of effective management strategies to mitigate bankruptcy risks and enhance performance. Investors and financial institutions utilize default prediction models to minimize financial losses. As the interest in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology for corporate insolvency prediction grows, extensive research has been conducted in this domain. However, there is an increasing demand for explainable AI models in corporate insolvency prediction, emphasizing interpretability and reliability. The SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations) technique has gained significant popularity and has demonstrated strong performance in various applications. Nonetheless, it has limitations such as computational cost, processing time, and scalability concerns based on the number of variables. This study introduces a novel approach to variable selection that reduces the number of variables by averaging SHAP values from bootstrapped data subsets instead of using the entire dataset. This technique aims to improve computational efficiency while maintaining excellent predictive performance. To obtain classification results, we aim to train random forest, XGBoost, and C5.0 models using carefully selected variables with high interpretability. The classification accuracy of the ensemble model, generated through soft voting as the goal of high-performance model design, is compared with the individual models. The study leverages data from 1,698 Korean light industrial companies and employs bootstrapping to create distinct data groups. Logistic Regression is employed to calculate SHAP values for each data group, and their averages are computed to derive the final SHAP values. The proposed model enhances interpretability and aims to achieve superior predictive performance.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic efficiency of the policy implemented by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on leading company in sport industry. The leading companies in sport industry are those who have a certain amount of sales in sport industry and the ones with potential to become global companies. Supporting areas include business advancement, overseas market development, and overseas PR marketing integration support. The research is performed by developing the equilibrium model composed of supply as well as demand and applying input-output analysis. The economic efficiency is estimated to in the form of changes in the sales of corporations and the ripple effect of the national economy. The results of the study are as follows. First, it is estimated that the sales growth rate of the company due to the implementation of the policy is from 3.74% to 5.19%. Second, the increase in sales reaches to a maximum of KRW 4,081 billion with a minimum of KRW 1,573 million, depending on the size of the company. Third, it is estimated that the production inducement effect for the national economy is from KRW 36 billion to KRW 93.4 billion. Fourth, the induced value added for the national economy is estimated to be at least KRW 11.3 billion, up to KRW 29.2 billion.
In logistics and distribution, Market Basket Analysis (MBA) is used as an important means to analyze the correlation between major sales products and to increase internal operational efficiency. In particular, the results of market basket analysis are used as important reference data for decision-making processes such as product purchase prediction, product recommendation, and product display structure in stores. With the recent development of e-commerce, the number of items handled by a single distribution and logistics company has rapidly increased, And the existing analytical methods such as Apriori and FP-Growth have slowed down due to the exponential increase in the amount of calculation and applied to actual business. There is a limit to examining important association rules to overcome this limitation, In this study, at the Main-Category level, which is the highest classification system of products, the utility item set mining technique that can consider the sales volume of products together was used to first select a group of products mainly sold together. Then, at the sub-category level, the types of products sold together were identified using FP-Growth. By using this sequential layer filtering technique, it may be possible to reduce the unnecessary calculations and to find practically usable rules for enhancing the effectiveness and profitability.
Customer engagement refers to the physical and emotional connection between customers and brands. If the customer's degree of engagement is high, they purchase more, promote more, and show more loyalty. This study suggests the following implications, starting from the assumption that engagement with various service activities in universities can increase loyalty to departments and Universities. In university services, customer engagement plays a important role in strengthening college loyalty after college students are satisfied with university. Although it has an effect on university satisfaction, it can play a big role in increasing the loyalty of marketing goals at a higher level after satisfaction. Among the central factors of university service engagement, it was found that students could increase their department and university loyalty through capacity building and job-related activities for future employment, and among the surrounding factors, friendship activities were a very important factor in department or school loyalty. It can be said that it is of paramount importance to establish a system that can strengthen loyalty through various programs that can build friendships with students. Further research did not verify the moderating effect of service engagement among student groups, but the high-credit group was found to have a very high degree of engagement not only in the central cues but also in the peripheral cues, which is thought to reverse the common sense that high-credit students will be relatively less immersed in the peripheral elements.

New product innovation is a key component of a company's survival and sustained growth. With the rapidly changing market environment and global infinite competition, The importance of innovative new product development is growing. In the domestic entertainment industry, Competition is intensifying, and many companies are focusing on developing innovative new products in order to secure continuous competitive advantage in the era of global infinite competition. The problem is that as the intensity of competition increases and the idol production system develops more and more, The costs of planning and marketing are increasing. The fair trade commission estimated the cost of creating an idol group to be about 1 billion won, and some large entertainment companies claim that the investment cost is about 20 ~ 3 billion won. Lean startup is attracting attention as an innovation framework for sustainable competitive advantage of companies. But, there are not many related studies in Korea despite the growing interest. In particular, Case studies that can help to establish specific strategies are limited. Therefore, this study analyzed the successful case of JYP Entertainment's idol singer TWICE who succeeded in new product innovation and suggested practical implications. Theoretically, This study extended the Lean startup to the entertainment industry and suggested practical implications as the basic data for establishing the innovation strategies for the idol singers of domestic entertainment companies.

This study is to find the causes of the current situations of conflict between generations in regards to succession of their family farm, for the target group of graduates Korea National Agricultural College of the year 2008 and their parents. This study aims at finding a way of controlling and solving the conflicts, and of developing a course of education and training, so that through this process they can come to a rational conclusion to the conflicts that arise regarding succession of the farm, in a climate of harmony and peace. It is found that communication between parents and graduates has normally gone on well, but specific problems related to management of the farm are often present. Furthermore, there is often lack of trust and promise between the parties which often causes difficulties in preparation for the succession of the farm. On the basis of these observation, we have designed and implemented an education workshop and training, as a program in which parents and their successors participated. As a result, we found it to be very effective, but it was also found to be in need of some changes. The workshop is to be implemented in two separate stages. The first stage should focus on communication and trust between family members. Firstly, they are given the opportunity to share the list of concerns withone another, as an ice breaking activity. Secondly, they can present their own hopes or wishes. And lastly, they can communicate with one another in an effort to find resolutions that will be keep both parties satisfied. The second stage should be aimed at establishing agreements concerning succession of the farm in a harmonious and peaceful manor; the second stage is also an opportunity to discuss 'Farm management and succession'. The Korea National Agricultural College (KNAC) is in the pursuit of fostering agricultural CEO's for the future of Korea. KNAC is currently implementing a very unique system of interviews in which parents participate together with students, in order to help them make a plan for rational management of their farm and smooth succession of the farm. Although KNAC now has students present a blueprint of their own unique business plans as a graduation thesis, it is necessary for KNAC to complement this system with education and training regarding the succession of family farms. Furthermore, KNAC should also develop an education and training program that is separate for this purpose, and make it a regular course of study of KNAC in the future.

The implicit association test (IAT) measures implicit attitudes of participants and is regarded as an effective method for expecting future behaviors. Based on the IAT, this study aimed to answer the question, whether implicit attitudes of an individual about creativity have any kinds of impact on global perception, which might be important for a creative process. In the experiment, participants were presented words, which were associated with one of four categories, while one attitude category (creativity /practicality) and one evaluative category (good/bad) were always paired together either on the left side or on the right side of the computer screen. After completing the IAT test, participants were led to fill out a questionnaire to assess explicit attitudes toward creativity and practicality. Then they conducted the navon task, in which they had to find one of two letters, 'F' or 'H', which were presented either as a local form or as a global form. Finally, the participants had to write down as many untypical functions of an object as possible. The results showed that not the scores of explicit attitude scores but the IAT scores correlated with the reaction time of global perception. The global perception was faster in the participants with the low IAT scores than the local perception. Compared to this, the global perception benefits disappeared in the participants with the high IAT scores. Additionally, more creative ideas about the functions of the object were listed in the group with the lower IAT scores. Implications of the role of implicit attitudes about creative processes are discussed.
