In this research, GIS based evaluation methods were applied to habitats of Japanese black bear (Ursus thibetanus japonicus Schlegel) in northern Honshu. The study area was divided into 828 small watershed units , and five GIS indexes, Vegetation Type（V.T.）, Extent of Forest Cover (E.F.C.) Slope Incline (S.I), Average Altitude (A.A.) and Road Density(R.D.), were used to evaluate each watershed unit in terms of suitability as black bear habitat. In addition, Interspersion and Juxtaposition spatial indices were calculated for each watershed unit. The results clearly identified the regions with the most suitable habitats, indicating that this methodology is suitable for application to various environmental planning efforts, such as regional development master plans, project-specific environmental impact assessments, species management plans and biodiversity conservation plans.

Most of our GIS implementation activities have been focussed on the management of urban information in local municipalities. Management of urban facilities has been the major issue of concern and has little role in providing the decision maker with alternatives from which one can analyse and choose the optimum solution. For this reason, the spatial decision support system is in need. Business analysis software is effectively used for site analysis of new stores, customer prospecting and other issues of decision making for business purposes, The same geoprocessing module of business analysis software would be useful if put to use for the management of disaster management especially for storm surge management. Application of the business analysis model for disaster management has been reviewed. Specially in case of storm surge, where quick response is crucial, the spatial decision support system will be most effective.

본 논문에서는 개방형 GIS웹서비스의 레지스트리를 구축하기 위해 참조될 수 있는 OGC의 표준들을 중심으로 하여 다양한 GIS 비즈니스의 유형별로 적용 가능한 기술사양과 적합한 구현모델 등을 분석하여 효율적인 GIS 웹서비스 네트워크를 형성할 수 있도록 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는, GIS 비즈니스 모델을 서비스기반모델에 따라 참여주체를 규정하고 각각의 구성형태에 따른 모델을 분류한다. 또한, 각각의 분류된 모델유형에 대해 GIS웹서비스 레지스트리로서 참조되고 고려되어야 하는 특성들을 도출하여 가능한 분석관점도 함께 제시한다.

최근 마케팅이나 기업전략 수립분야에서 비지니스 GIS를 적용하기 위한 다양한 응용시스템이 개발되고 있다. 이 중 대부분이 의사결정지원을 위한 정보로서 지리공간상에서의 상권이라고 하는 특정 범위에 대한 통계정보의 산출을 요구한다. 기존에 상권범위의 정의는 대부분 개별점포에 대해 경험치를 적용하여 이루어져 왔으며, 특정업종이나 소비자 상권과 같은 일반적인 의미의 상권을 정의하는 객관적인 방법이 제시되지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 비지니스 GIS 분야에 축적된 점사상 정보에 공간 데이터마이닝 기법을 적용하여 상권의 범위를 추출할 때, 기법 간의 장단점을 비교분석하고, 상권추출의 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 점사상으로 사용된 카드사 가맹점 데이터와 소매체인 회원의 정보를 이용하여 상권의 추출이 가능하며, DENCLUE(DENsity-based CLUstEring) 기법이 적합한 공간 데이터마이닝 기법임을 알 수 있었다.

국민소득 증가와 고령화 사회에 진입하면서 다양한 의료소비가 의료서비스산업에 영향을 미치고 있으며, 이러한 사회 구조 및 환경변화에 따라 새로운 질병에 대한 대응 또한 절실히 요구되고 있다. 질병 예측을 위한 연구는 기후변화와 질병, 건강행태와 질병, 사회적 위치와 질병 등 질병에 영향을 주는 많은 요인들이 있다. 그러나 이러한 요인들을 통합, 분석 활용하는 데는 해결해야 할 문제들이 많이 있다. '정부3.0 공공데이터 개방 정책' 을 통해 질병에 관련된 자료가 공개 되면서 본 연구에서는 2010년부터 2012년까지의 질병에 영향을 주는 공공데이터를 연도별로 통합하여 지리정보시스템(GIS)기반 데이터베이스를 구축하고 활용 할 수 있게 하였다. 향후 기후변화에 민감한 질병을 찾기 위해 해당기관의 자료를 활용하여 월별로 데이터베이스를 구축하고, 이를 기반으로 의료서비스의 활성화 및 효율성에 기여 할 수 있다.

Among many sources of soil and water pollution, former mining regions also play an important role in distribution and scope of pollution. In response, KMRC has made an investigation into the status mine hazard at the abandoned metalliferous mine area in Korea. In this study, we analyzed distribution of mine hazards at abandoned metalliferous mines using GIS. We considered the distribution of mine hazards and its magnitude for each abandoned mine and displayed the mine hazard index (MHI) using GIS. We divided the MHI value for each mine into 5 classes, and displayed the first class as smallest point symbol and the last class as biggest point symbol. The biggest symbol shows the most serious status of mine hazards. This GIS function was included in the AMGIS system KMRS are running, and it would be helpful to make decision of reclamation priority at abandoned metalliferous mine area.

This study suggests how to evaluate the business model feasibility of Geographic Information Service(GIS) before they are commercialized in Ubiquitous Environments. It suggests the evaluation framework for business feasibility in order to provide a successful method. The framework is consisted of various evaluation dimensions and Indices like technology, marketability, business ability, customer satisfaction and business risk. From this research, we will anticipate a high rate of successful GIS business in respect to various elements related in the commercialization of the former business in ubiquitous environments.

기존의 GIS는 유무선 인터넷의 급속한 확산과 통신기술의 발달로 인해 새로운 모습으로 탈바꿈하고 있으며, GIS 는 무한한 성장가능성을 내포하고 있다. 그러나 현재 GIS 기반 비즈니스는 오프라인 기업의 지원을 위한 비즈니스모델과 지도판매와 지도 ASP 에만 편중되어 있으며, 인터넷의 4개 영역 (4C: Communication, Commerce, Contents, Community)중 Commerce 영역으로 확대되지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 현재의 GIS 산업과 비즈니스모델의 문제점을 파악하고, 이를 극복하기 위한 GIS 기반 비즈니스모델의 성공 요인과, 문헌고찰과 실무 인터뷰를 통하여 GIS 기반 비즈니스모델 분류체계를 도출하였고, 실제 타당성이 있는지 사례연구를 통해서 알아보았다. 사례연구결과, 실질적인 GIS 기반 비즈니스모델 체계를 탐색적인 수준에서 분류하였으며, 향후 실증연구를 위해 시사점을 제시하였다.

Web GIS (Geographic Information Systems) service systems provide the various GIS services of analyzing and displaying the spatial data with friendly user-interface. These services are expanding the business domain and many users want to access the distributed various spatial data. But, it is difficult to access diverse data sources because of different spatial data format and data access methods. In this paper, we design and implement web GIS services based on the inter-operability and GML (Geography Markup Language) of OGC(Open GIS Consortium) in web distributed environment. Inter-operability provides unique accessing method to distributed data sources based on OLE DB technology of Microsoft. In addition, GML support web GIS services based on XML. We design these GIS services as components using UML (Unified Modeling Language) of an object-oriented modeling language for specifying, visualizing, constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software system. In addition, they also were developed in object-oriented computing environment, and it provides the interoperability, language-independent, easy developing environment as well as re-usability.

GIS(Geographic Information System)은 컴퓨터와 인터넷의 출현과 더불어 발전을 해 왔고 이에 맞추어 사용자에게 다양한 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 차세대 Web을 뜻하는 Web 2.0은 불특정다수의 인터넷 사용자가 제공하는 정보가 집약되어 새로운 가치가 창출되는 비즈니스로 발전하고 있다. Web 2.0의 특징으로는 블로그, 롱테일 분포, SNS(Social Networking Service), UCC(User Created Contents), 집단지성 등을 들 수 있다. 본 연구는 Web 2.0의 특징을 이용한 가칭 GIS 2.0을 통해 현재 일방적이고 단순 자료 홍보적 성격의 공간정보제공 방법을 지향하고 쌍방향적이고 일반사용자 참여를 통해 완성될 수 있는 GIS 구축방법으로 전환하여 GIS 도입효과 및 활용을 극대화하는 서비스 모델을 제시한다.
