광섬유 GRATING SENSOR를 이용한 초기재령 콘크리트의 변형 측정 (The Measurement of Concrete Deformations at Early Age using Fiber-Optic Bragg Grating Sensors)

  • The deformations of concrete specimens were measured at early at early ages, in order to verify the applicability of FBG(Fiber Bragg Grating) sensors. The FBG sensors were directly buried at various locations in the beam-type RC specimens at the time of fabrication. In this experiment, the changes of strains in concrete at early age were successfully measured as the movement in wavelength of light signals. The FBG sensors may be a very effective tool to investigate the mechanical/thermal behavior inside of concrete structures.

  • This paper proposes an effective assistant model for considering the stator slot-opening effect on air gap flux density distribution in conventional interior-type permanent magnet (IPM) motor. Different from the conventional slot-opening effect analysis in surface-type PM (SPM) motor, a composite effect of slot-opening uniquely existing in IPM motor, which additionally causes enhancement of air gap flux density due to magnet flux path distortion in iron core between the buried PM and rotor surface. This phenomenon is represented by a proposed assistant model, which simply deals with this additional effect by modifying magnetic pole-arc using an effective method. The validity of this proposed analytical model is applied to predict the air gap flux density distribution in an IPM motor model and confirmed by finite element method (FEM).

  • 누설전류는 의도된 회로 이외의 경로로 흐르는 전류를 말하며, 일반적으로 도시철도의 급전 시스템은 레일을 부극선으로 사용하기 때문에 레일이 대지와 완벽하게 절연되어 있지 않다면 레일을 통해 흐르는 전류의 일부는 누설전류로 땅속을 흐르게 된다. 이때 토양을 통해 누설 전류가 유출되는 레일과 지하매설 금속구조물에서 전식이 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 국내 도시철도 운행지역 인근 지하매설 금속구조물의 전식방지 현황을 설문조사를 통하여 조사하였다.

  • This paper describes an efficiency improvement of buried contact solar cell (BSCS) with a structure of MgF$_2$/CeO$_2$/Ag/Cu/Ni grid/n$^{+}$ emitter/p-type Si base/p$^{+}$/Al. Theoretical and experimental investigations were performed on a double layer antireflection (DLAR) coating of MgF$_2$/CeO$_2$. We investigated CeO$_2$ films as an AR layer because they have a proper refractive index of 2.46 and demonstrate the same lattice constant as Si substrate. An optimized DLAR coating shewed a reflectance as low as 2.04 % in the wavelengths ranged from 0.4 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ to 1.1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. BCSC cell efficiency was improved from 16.2 % without any AR coating to 19.9 % by employing DLAR coatings. Further details on MgF$_2$/CeO$_2$ DLAR coatings on the BCSC cells are presented in this paper.per.

  • 단결정 실리콘 태양전지는 PESC(Passivated Emitter Solar Cell), PERC(Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell), Point Contact Cell, PERL(Passivated Emitter and Rear Locally-Diffused Cell) 형태로 기술적인 발전을 해왔다. BCSC(Buried Contact Solar Cell)는 낮은 제조 단가로 높은 효율을 얻을 목적으로 개발되었으며 개량된 형태인 DSBC(Double Sided Buried Contact Cell)는 양면으로 빛을 흡수할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

Si 종형 Hall 소자의 동작과 잡음 특성 (Noise and Operating Properties of Si Vertical Hall Device)

  • 본 연구는 칩 표면에 수평 한 자기장을 검출하는 종형 Hall 소자를 바이폴라 기술로 제조하여 동작 및 잡음 특성을 조사하였다. P+ Isolation 댐을 설치한 소자(type B)가 설치하지 않는 소자(type A)보다 자기 감도는 약 1.2배 증가하였고, 역시 잡음도 증가하였다. 측정된 이 종형 Hall소자의 자기 검출 분해능은 f=1[KHz], 대역폭 1[Hz] 구동조건에서 type A는 약 $0.97[{\mu}T]$, type B는 $1.25[{\mu}T]$였다. 따라서 Hall 소자 구조 설계나 재료적인 면에서 볼 때, 낮은 잡음즉, 자기 검출분해능과 높은 감도 상관관계를 고려하여야 한다.

  • Ground source heat pump systems are used for heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems in commercial buildings, schools, and factories because of low operating and maintenance costs. These systems use the earth as a heat source in heating mode and a heat sink in cooling mode. Ground heat exchangers are classified by a horizontal type and vertical type according to the installation method. A horizontal type means that a heat exchanger is laid in the trench bored in 1.2 to 1.8 m depth. The solar heat and the rainwater are affected by the performance of heat exchanger and causes mutual influence among heat exchangers. In this study, to evaluate the performance of straight type, slinky type, and spiral type of horizontal ground heat exchangers designed on 1 RT scale, test sections are buried on the earth and experimental apparatus is installed. Therefore the performance of these is estimated.

통발 어구를 이용한 서해 경기만 사각형어초 시설의 효과 평가 (Evaluation of the effect of cubic artificial reefs in Kyonggi Bay, west coast of Korea by using fish trap)

  • In the autumn of 2000 and spring of 2001, field surveys were conducted to estimate the effectiveness of artificial reefs (type cube, $2{\times}2{\times}2m^3$) that were established in the four islands of Bangnyeong, Socheong, Daeyeonpyeong and Ganghwa in Kyonggi Bay, the west coast of Korea during 1995 and 1996. The condition of reefs was examined through SCUBA diving and a side-scan sonar. Much of the reefs in Daeyeonpyeong and Ganghwa area were buried in bottom sediment. Despite an intensive search in Bangnyeong area, even a cluster of reefs was not found and most of them seemed to be buried by sand waves. Thus an appropriate investigation on the sediment transport should be included in pre-assessment for the expected performance and protection of artificial reefs. Distribution of average CPUE in natural fishing ground (control) was estimated by bootstrapping simulation and possible comparison of CPUE between control and reef areas (treatment) were made in Bangnyeong and Socheong (Experiment I). Positive reef effect was detected in Socheong but CPUE of treatment in Bangnyeong was varied between or lower than the 99% CPUE confidence intervals of the control. Control/treatment abundance and biomass of fishes and invertebrates were tested by paired t-test and sign test (Experiment II). Only four cases among 22 showed significant positive effect. Based on the results, the cube artificial reef in Socheong was inferred as an affirmative one. Floor type was hypothesized to be one of the probable agents in determining the effectiveness of artificial reefs.

  • 이 논문은 현재 삼성종합기술원에서 연구개발이 진행중인 태양전지의 현항을 소개하고, 미래의 연구를 예측해 보기위한 리뷰성 논문이다. 전극함몰형 태양전지의 공정결과를 기판별로 특성을 조사하고, 보다 저가 공정인 전극함몰형 양변 태양전지의 공정과 비교함으로서, 그 제작 가능성을 분석하였다. 양면 태양전지는 루프 타일형에 가장 적합한 것으로 사료되며, 변환효율은 18~20 %로 예상된다.

  • 수중램제트(underwater ram-jet)는 램흡입부(ram intake), 혼합실(mixing chamber) 및 노즐(nozzle)로 구성되어 있으며, 램흡입부로 유입된 작동유체는 압력이 증가되며 이 증압된 작동유체에 혼합실로부터 고압공기를 분사하여 기 액이상류를 형성하여 노즐을 통과하면서 대기압까지 팽창을 하여 작동유체를 고속으로 가속시켜 노즐출구로부터 추력을 얻는 방식으로 차세대 초고속 선박추진장치이다. 본 연구에서는 80노트를 낼 수 있는 선내관통형(buried type vessel) 램제트의 최적 노즐형상데이터를 이용하여 제반변수(벽마찰계수, 가스속도, 기포반경, 대기온도, 질량유량비, 디퓨저면적비, 작동유체의 속도구배)의 변화가 추진특성에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다.
