최근 컴퓨터 게임에 등장하는 NPC(Non-player Character)에 각종 인공지능 기법을 적용하는 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 연구가 플레이어를 상대하는 적대적 입장의 NPC들의 움직임 조절에 초점을 맞추고 있고 아직까지 게임 상에서 등장하는 모든 NPC는 항상 같은 말과 비슷한 행동을 되풀이하는 모습만을 보여주고 있다. 이는 플레이어가 게임을 비현실적으로 느끼게 만들고 결과적으로 게임의 재미를 저하시키는 요소로 작용한다. 플레이어에게 보다 현실적인 게임 환경을 제공하기 위해서는 NPC가 단순히 게임의 배경을 구성하는 오브젝트가 아니라 다양한 대화를 통해 플레이어에게 많은 영향을 주게 하여 게임의 기여도를 높여주어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위해 게임 속에서 주어지는 퀘스트를 구성하는 NPC, 몬스터, 보상 등의 속성 정보를 온톨로지로 구성하고, 인터넷에 존재하는 게임 커뮤니티에서 퀘스트 질의/응답 게시판의 글을 추출하여, 플레이어의 관련 질의에 응답하는 NPC를 구현하고자 한다. 이를 위해 온톨로지 정보를 이용한 검색 알고리즘을 구현하였고, 시뮬레이션을 통해 NPC가 커뮤니티 게시글(국문/영문) 정보를 이용하여 유저에게 고정되지 않은 다양한 메시지를 전달하면서 동시에 유저의 게임 진행을 도와주는 모습을 확인하였다.

We present recent results of very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) observations of gamma-ray bright active galactic nuclei (AGNs) using Korean VLBI Network (KVN) at 22, 43, 86, and 129~GHz bands, which are part of a KVN key science program; Interferometric Monitoring of Gamma-ray Bright AGNs (iMOGABA). We selected a total of 34 radio-loud AGNs of which 30 sources are gamma-ray bright AGNs, including 24 sources monitored by the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope using the Large Area Telescope on board. The selected sources consist of 24 quasars, 7 BL Lacs, and 3 radio galaxies. In this talk, we summarize recent results of the iMOGABA, including results of single-epoch multi-frequency VLBI observations of the target sources, conducted during a 24-hr session on 2013 November 19 and 20. All observed sources were detected and imaged at all frequency bands with or without a frequency phase transfer technique which enabled to detect and image 12 faint sources at 129 GHz, except for 0218+357 which was detected for only one baseline at all frequency bands.

The purpose of this study was to explore the ideas about Korean-American mother's school-age child rearing that are represented on internet community. The method used for this study was content analysis and the data consisted of articles about Korean-American mother's school-age child rearing on a internet community bulletin board during 1 year in 2008. It was found that these articles dealt with problems of practice in interfacing between home and social institutions(Especially school), teaching, counseling, nurturing and disciplining. For example, 831 articles put great emphasis on interfacing between home and social institutions, 339 on teaching, 268 on counseling with children. From these results, we might conclude that many Korean-American mothers gave their children school related care.

Recent spectropolarimetric observations with high spatial resolution and high polarization sensitivity have provided us with new insight to better understand the quiet-Sun magnetism. This talk is concerned with the ubiquitous transient horizontal magnetic fields in the quiet-Sun, as revealed by the Solar Optical Telescope (SOT) on board Hinode satellite. Exploiting the SOT data with careful treatment of photon noise, we reveal the enigmatic properties of these horizontal magnetic fields such as lifetime, size, position in terms of granular structure, occurrence rate, three-dimensional structure, total magnetic flux, field strength distribution, relationship with the meso- and super-granulations and so on. Based on these observational consequences, we conjecture that the local dynamo process, which takes place in a relatively shallow layer with the granular size, produces these transient horizontal magnetic fields and that these horizontal magnetic fields contribute to the considerable amount of quiet-Sun magnetic fields. We also estimate the magnetic energy flux carried by these horizontal magnetic fields based on the statistical data, and find that the total magnetic energy is comparable to the total chromospheric and coronal energy loss, implying their important role for the chromospheric heating and dynamism.

Recent surveys have shown that many early-type galaxies have signatures of ongoing or recent star formation (RSF). These RSF galaxies show blue integrated UV-optical colours that set them aside in the NUV integrated colour-magnitude relation. Among them, NGC 4150 has been observed using the Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) on board the Hubble Space Telescope to inspect the galaxy with higher spatial resolution. In the WFC3 data, the galaxy reveals ubiquitous near-UV emission and remarkable dusty substructure. Our analysis shows this galaxy to lie in the near-UV green valley, and its pixel-by-pixel photometry exhibits a narrow range of UV-optical colours that are similar to those of nearby E+A (post-starburst) galaxies, and lie between those of M83 (an actively star-forming spiral) and the local quiescent early-type galaxy population. This work reaffirms our hypothesis that minor mergers play a significant role in the evolution of early-type galaxies at late epochs.

The purpose of this study was to explore the ideas about mother's school-age child rearing that are represented on cyber space. The method used for this study was content analysis and the data consisted of articles about mother's school-age child rearing on the Hitel bulletin board during 1 year in 2003. It was found that these articles dealt with problems of practice in teaching, counseling, nurturing, interfacing between home and social institutions, and disciplining. For example, 410 articles put great emphasis on teaching. 262 on the child's cognitive development, 208 on counseling with children, especially about school related matters, and 127 on interfacing between home and social institutions(especially school), From these results, we might conclude that many mothers gave their children school related care.

세계는 점점 더 가까워지고 함께 공유하는 문화적 산물이 많아져 가면서 그 나라 고유의 전통문화의 존재의식은 젊은 층으로 내려갈수록 더욱 퇴색되어져가고 있다. 우리가 언제 어디서나 쉽게 듣고 즐기는 음악 또한 예외는 아니다. 쉽게 서양의 음악을 흥얼거리는 사람은 많아도 우리 국악을 흥얼거리며 가깝게 여기는 사람은 그리 많지 않을 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 6차 교육과정 이후 계속 그 중요성이 강조되고 있는 국악을 학생들로 하여금 좀 더 흥미와 관심을 가지고 더 잘 이해할 수 있고 더 가깝게 여길 수 있도록 하기 위해 음성게시판을 활용한 국악교육 사이트를 설계하고자 한다. 이는 초등 현장에서 교사의 수업 보조 자료는 물론 학생 개개인이 시 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 학습할 수 있으며 음성 게시판에 게재된 내용을 통해 교사의 일대일 조언은 물론 다양한 평가의 자료로 활용할 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 기존의 이동사업자가 독점한 무선인터넷 시장에서 이동사업자의 메뉴에서 정보를 획득하는 방식과 달리, 5개 이동사업자 식별에 의한 유·무선 인터넷 통합서버를 이용한 무선학사관리 시스템의 구축방법으로 학생이 자신의 휴대전화에서 학교의 URL을 직접 접속하면 합격자 조회, 수강신청조회, 성적조회, 입시관련 정보 및 공지사항 보기 등이 가능하다.

This paper describes the development of an automated, hand-held sensor for the fast assessment of seafood freshness. The sensor developed here combined: an array-based chemical sensor, composed of incrementally different conducting polymer elements deposited on a small chip; a highly sensitive, custom-made electronics for the detection of very small signal changes; precise temperature control of the sensor chamber; and an on-board microcontroller for data collection, storage, automation, and analysis. The instrument was used to successfully test seafood samples with different degree of freshness and spoilage. A linear relationship between microbiological count and e-Nose signal for three different fish fillet was developed. Once the linear relationship is included into the hand-held unit software, the e-Nose signal can be used for assessment of seafood freshness without performing the microbiological count technique.

KOMPSAT-2 (Korea Multi Purpose Satellite 2) which is scheduled to launch in 2005 year will communicate with KARI TTC (Tracking, Telemetry, and Command) station flying along sun synchronous orbits (685 km). The command from KARI TTC passes S-band omni-antenna, RF assembly, and transponder and finally reachs OBC (On Board Computer). The telemetry from KOMPSAT-2 arrives at KARI TTC through inverse procedure. In this paper, RF compatibility test between KOMPSAT-2 and KARI TTC station is demonstrated. RF interface for this test was established through real space and uplink signal test and downlink signal test and uplink & downlink signal test were performed.
