  • Along with the development of Internet services such as Social Network Service (SNS) and blog Service, the privacy is very important in these services. But personal data is not safety from exposure to internet service. If personal data is leak out, the privacy is disclosed to hacker or illegal person and the personal information can be used in a cyber crime as phishing attacks. Therefore, the model and method that protects to disclose privacy is requested in SNS and blog services. The model must evaluate degree of exposure to protect privacy and the method protects personal information from Internet services. This paper proposes a model to evaluate risk for privacy with property of personal data and exposure level of internet service such as bulletin board. Also, we show a method using degree of risk to evaluate with a proposed model at bulletin board.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the way in which the internet audience constitutes cyber culture by analysing a bulletin board system(BBS) on a historical drama, 'The World of Women'(SBS). Research findings show that the internee audience participates in a cyber space by five manners; personal participation(18.9%), critique of broadcaster's policy(11.3%), participation in a television drama community(42.1%), co-authorship(6.4%), evaluation and interpretation(21.3%). Through these kinds of participant activities, the internee audience tends to constitute a new cyber culture. Firstly, the audience seems to read 'The World of Women' by a specific way. It is the interest of a Um court lady that is characteristic on BBS of 'The World of Women'. Secondly, the internet audience constructs a new community of meaning by means of using emoticon(emotion and icon), deconstructing grammar, and remaking new signs. Thirdly, the internet audience argues their power over drama production, in other words, their ownership over the drama. Fouthly, the audience actively protests and criticise the policy of the broadcaster, especially charged service. Finally, the internet audience is likely to enjoy writing itself as a fun.

  • Educators have recognized the usefulness of the e-BBS(electronic-Bulletin Board System) as an asynchronous communication medium for collaborative learning. However, theoretical outcomes to understand the structural analysis of thc e-BBS are not adequate enough. As a consequence, we are left with inadequate supportive tools to understand complex communication phenomena and to assist teachers to guide students to educational purposes. This can cause teachers to have a laissez-faire approach using BBS as a communication medium for education due to the lack of understanding the structural and overall situation. To address this issue, this paper presents a theoretical foundation to help understand the structure of discussion activities via the e-BBS and then presents a computational model, based on the structural analysis, for the behavioral analysis of participants. The formal representation of bi-directional discussion activities is realized by devising two graphs - the reply graph and the connection graph. Various measurements and statistics for the analysis are presented in the paper. To clarify the analysis, we classify the results produced through the analysis of discussion activities and participants' behaviors.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the way that power in cyberspace is constructed and work and the factors that contribute to forming the power by analyzing a bulletin board system(BBS) on an everyday drama, "Can't Take My Eye Off You"(MBC). Research findings are as follows. The participants in the BBS produce various discourses and constantly compete with each other. In the process, the participants who produce a dominant discourse in quantity tend to exclude other discourses from the BBS and the participants who produce the minority discourses sometimes resist the dominant discourse but tend to refrain from expressing the minority discourses. These tendencies have intensified, and eventually the dominant discourse overwhelmingly powers over the BBS at the end of it. The dominant discourse in the BBS is confucian patriarchal one and this is primarily due to the characteristic of the BBS as the fandom of the drama, the participants' experience and dominant culture in their embodied social world, and the authorship of the drama.

  • This research is to observe and analyze the student interactions when inquiry problems were generated along with the students by using asynchronous discussion methods with the class bulletin board. For this research, 10 students from a single class of 6th grade were selected. The subject students were divided into 2 groups by cognitive levels. After the students were submitted the 4 problem situations for 1 week each, the discussion process was analyzed. The research results are as follows. First, the analysis of the step by step interactive discussion showed that several students answered for the question from a single student while discussing first for the question and answer in a form of a question with many multiple answers without any connections with the previously asked questions. At the end of the discussion, one to two students answered to a question by taking turns and the type of discussion changed to one question - one answer type by answering to the person who spoke prior to the next. Second, the discussion took place with the students in the transitional stage speaking in time in order, to provide comments to the bottom of the linear form and students in the formal operational stage students speaking in temporal order, regardless of the number of comments in the direction of the radiation(mind map) forms. The individual comment speaking rates were similar in the two groups so the students were able to speak indiscriminately.

  • The Ultraviolet Coronagraph Spectrometer on board the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) observes low ionization state coronal mass ejection plasma at ultraviolet wavelengths. The CME plasmas are often detected in O VI ($3{\times}10^5K$), C III ($8{\times}10^4K$), $Ly{\alpha}$, and $Ly{\beta}$. Earlier in situ observations by the Solar Wind Ion Composition Spectrometer (SWICS) on board Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) have shown mostly high ionization state plasmas in interplanetary coronal mass ejections (ICME) events, which implies that most CME plasma is strongly heated during its expansion in solar corona. In this analysis, we investigate whether the low ionization state CME plasmas observed by UVCS occupy small enough fractions of the CME volume to be consistent with the small fraction of ICMEs measured by ACE that show low ionization plasma, or whether the CME must be further ionized after passing the UVCS slit. To do this, we determine the covering factors of low ionization state plasma for 10 CME events. We find that the low ionization state plasmas in CMEs observed by UVCS show small covering factors. This result shows that the high ionization state ICME plasmas observed by the ACE results from a small filling factor of cool plasma. We also find that the low ionization state plasma volumes in faster CMEs are smaller than in slower CMEs. Most slow CMEs in this analysis are associated with a prominence eruption, while the faster CMEs are associated with X-class flares.

  • Fake news threaten democratic elections and causes social conflicts, resulting in major damage. However, the concept of fake news is hard to define, as there is a saying, "News is not fake, fake is not news." Fake news, however, has irreversible characteristics that can not be recovered or reversed completely through post-punishment of economic and political benefits. It is also rapidly spreading in the early days. Therefore, it is very important to preemptively detect these types of articles and prevent their blind proliferation. The existing countermeasures are focused on reporting fake news, raising the level of punishment, and the media & academia to determine the authenticity of the news. Researchers are also trying to determine the authenticity by analyzing its contents. Apart from the contents of fake news, determining the behavioral characteristics of the promoters and its qualities can help identify the possibility of having fake news in advance. The online community has a fake news interception and response tradition through its long-standing community-based activities. As a result, I attempted to model the fake news by analyzing the affirmation-denial analysis and posting behavior by securing the web board crawl of the 'M community' bulletin board during the 2017 Korean presidential election period. Random forest algorithm deemed significant. The results of this research will help counteract fake news and focus on preemptive blocking through behavioral analysis rather than post-judgment after semantic analysis.
