BIM기반 건축물 인허가 신청을 위한 정보 관리방안 (A Method of Information Management for BIM Based Building Permission)

  • Around the world, BIM application has been mandated. In Korea, an announcement was made in 2016 that BIM application will be required for all public constructions ordered by the Public Procurement Service. However, BIM cannot be used for building permits as Seumter, a building permit system, doesn't support BIM, even if it was used for building design. To utilize BIM for permit application, this study introduces a method of management for BIM-used permit application information. It was done by analyzing the data entered for new building permit application in Seumter. For the analysis, the permit application information is classified as internal BIM information and external BIM information and the required information is defined. To easily create and utilize the data types at the design stage, this study introduces a method of creating and utilizing a permit template. Also, this study developed a tool for combining the area information to add up all the related information such as gross floor area and floor area ratio. This study is significant in that it analyzes the required information for new building permit application among all the permit application types in Korea.

건축허가면적(建築許可面積)의 변화(變化)가 임산물(林産物) 수입(輸入)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Impacts of the Building Permit Area Change on the Forest Products Import Quantities in Korea)

  • 이 연구는 건축허가면적의 변화가 임산물수입량에 마치는 영향을 우리나라 시장을 대상으로 분석하였다. 첫번째 목적은 건축허가면적의 변화가 임산물수입량 변화의 원인이 되는지, 즉 인과관계를 파악하는 것이고, 두번째 목적은 건축허가면적의 변화가 임산물수입량에 얼마만큼 얼마동안 영향을 미치는지, 즉 동태적 영향을 추정하는 것이다. 건축허가면적과 임산물수입량의 관계는 자기회귀모형이나 오차수정모형에 의해 만들어졌다. 인과관계 파악은 Granger가 고안한 인과성검정을 이용하였고, 동태분석은 분산분해분석과 충격반응분석을 이용하였다. 결과에 의하면 건축허가면적의 변화는 임산물 중에서 고밀도섬유판수입량 변화의 원인이 되었다. 고밀도섬유판의 경우에 어느 시기의 수입량은 그 시기 이전의 건축허가면적에 의해 10%, 그 시기 이전의 수입량에 의해 90% 가량 설명되었다. 또한 건축허가면적의 변화는 고밀도섬유판수입량에 6개월까지 영향을 미쳤다. 즉 건축허가면적의 변화가 고밀도섬유판수입량에 영향을 미쳤더라도 단기간에 불과했다.

BIM 기반 인허가 요구정보 생성 방안 (Methodology for Generating Information Requirements for BIM-based Building Permit Process)

  • Using BIM (Building Information Modeling)-based design information to analyze various engineering processes has been widely adopted in construction projects. However, since typical building permit processes often require traditional 2D-based design information for submission and to obtain building approval, there are some challenges in delivering such data thru BIM-based design information. This paper proposed a methodology to generate and meet information requirements for permit applications and approvals based on BIM-based design information. To that end, we analyzed the required information necessary to make submissions for building approvals using the Seumter system. We then suggested a process to collect the required information from BIM-based data, and classified this into two types: BIM-internal and BIM-external information requirements. In addition, we proposed three algorithms to extract and to match between extracted BIM data and BIM-internal information requirements using IFC(Industry Foundation Classes). The proposed methodology enables to ensure the efficiency and the accuracy when providing data for building permit review and approval.

서술부의 함수체계화를 통한 인허가관련 건축법규의 자동검토 응용방안 (Development of High-level Method for Representing Explicit Verb Phrases of Building Code Sentences for the Automated Building Permit System of Korea)

  • As building information modeling (BIM) is expanding its influence in various fields of architecture, engineering, construction and facility management (AEC-FM) industry, BIM-based automated code compliance checking has become possible prospects. For the automated code compliance checking, requirements in building code need to be processed into explicit representation that enables automated reasoning. This paper aims to develop high-level methods that translate verb phrases into explicit representation. The high-level methods represent conditions, properties, and related actions of the building objects and clarify the core content of the constraints. The authors analyze building permit requirements in Korea Building Code and establish a standardized process of deriving the high-level methods. As a result, 60 kinds of the high-level methods were derived. In addition, method classification, analysis, and application are introduced. This study will contribute to the representation of explicit building code sentences and establishment of the automated building permit system of Korea.

인허가관련 설계품질검토 자동화를 위한 건축법규 문장 관계논리에 관한 연구 (Relational Logic Definition of Articles and Sentences in Korean Building Code for the Automated Building Permit System)

  • This paper aims to define the relational logic of in-between code articles as well as within atomic sentences in Korean Building Code, as an intermediate research and development process for the automated building permit system of Korea. The approach depicted in this paper enables the software developers to figure out the logical relations in order to compose KBimCode and its databases. KBimCode is a computer-readable form of Korean Building Code sentences based on a logic rule-based mechanism. Two types of relational logic definition are described in this paper. First type is a logic definition of relation between code sentences. Due to the complexity of Korean Building code structure that consists of decree, regulation or ordinance, an intensive analysis of sentence relations has been performed. Code sentences have a relation based on delegation or reference each other. Another type is a relational logic definition in a code sentence based on translated atomic sentence(TAS) which is an explicit form of atomic sentence(AS). The analysis has been performed because the natural language has intrinsic ambiguity which hinders interpreting embedded meaning of Building Code. Thus, both analyses have been conducted for capturing accurate meaning of building permit-related requirements as a part of the logic rule-based mechanism.

건축허가기준으로서 조경법규에 대한 고찰 (A Study on Landscape Ordinance of the Korean Building Code)

  • Landscaping on building sites has been regulated by Building Code in Korea. By Article 42 of the Code, landscaping is mandated in the process of building construction and people should comply with the code to get the building permit. On the other hand, sustainability tends to be a prime value these days. Because of the intrinsic nature of Korea Building Code, the landscaping was not adequately implemented in reality. After studies on the landscape ordinance, the major problems on the mandated landscaping has been speculated as follows: 1. As far as landscaping has been regulated by single building code, there seems to be a limitation. Urban Planning Code etc. would be another mean to adequate landscaping. 2. Speculations on landscape details associated with landscape plans are needed for building permit process. 3. By any level of law, the landscape should be reinforced for public buildings and developments because of its own publicity. 4. Locally sound landscape would be implemented through Special Architectural District etc.
