Environment friendly architecture, which will reduce shortcomings of current architectural culture, can be achieved by using natural energy and environment friendly building materials together with their environmental architecture techniques. Particularly, even though the overall building system is perfect, it cannot be considered as comfortable architectural space if the materials are polluted, harmful to human bodies and producing wastes. Therefore, in order to build environment friendly architecture, the selection of the materials is very important and necessary from the planning stage with careful reviews and concern. This study tries to define what the environment friendly materials we, to investigate and to classify them, in order to provide some guidelines for selecting them at plans to build. For examples, the materials can be classified into natural materials, continuously usable materials, recycled materials from wastes, and less polluting materials mixed with natural materials. Finally, this study reviews the existing products in the market and proposes to develop new ones in the future. It will present the circulation of resources in the 21century through recycled and reused materials.

After an important construction work in Chosun dynasty, the appropriate government made out the building specification as it called 營建儀軌. They are recorded about variety matters as the appointed days, various official documents, managers and craftsmen, etc.. Sometimes we can see the attached pictures about some building or furniture. specifications in Chosun dynasty about the unit of materials and history of each terms. The results are as followings: (1) The interior materials are classified to several units such as Gai(箇;the unit of square lumber or log), Rip(立;the unit of plates), Boo(部;the unit of assembled materials), etc.. (2) The terms are defined and enlightened how to use and how to change. Particularly, the terms are different positively in constituent units of wooden floor. So, it is expected to continuant study.

This article presents a computing procedure developed to predict the torsional strength of axially restrained reinforced concrete beams. This computing procedure is based on a modification of the Variable Angle Truss Model to account for the influence of the longitudinal compressive stress state due to the axial restraint conditions provided by the connections of the beams to other structural elements. Theoretical predictions from the proposed model are compared with some experimental results available in the literature and also with some numerical results from a three-dimensional nonlinear finite element analysis. It is shown that the proposed computing procedure gives reliable predictions for the ultimate behaviour, namely the torsional strength, of axially restrained reinforced concrete beams under torsion.

In recent years, living space of modern society have vared, and new methods to build have been introduced using new building materials and interior finishing materials as the life level is enhanced. But these kinds of materials release some harmful substances to people. The most of people living in new apartment have headache and dizziness, and feel sick of the stomach, sleepiness, eye stimulus, concentration decrease and allergies. That called 'sick house syndrome'is becoming new society problem. The purpose of this study is to investigate the kinds and various problems of the interior finishing materials and to pursue improvement of living place and pleasant interior surroundings.

In modern days when architectural materials have grave impacts on overall design expression, materials for architecture, modern architecture into the service facility for business, education, religion, cultural assembly and residence, and evaluates each finishing material mainly used in exterior, lobbies and entrances of the building since the 1970's. When being applied social images into firstly selected materials, the scopes for material selection will be more narrowed down in more practical way. High tensity materials are suitable for public and active space and low tensity are for private and static area. This principle enables us to use architectural materials as one of the important elements which express the whole characteristics of the area.

This paper explores idea of the integration of text and image information in interior design. In this paper, we designed a structure of text and image information. Text information includes the information about materials and projects, and image information includes images of interior design. Material information consists of such as name and price of materials. Image information involves images of interior design that have been scanned and categorized into 15 groups according to the building regulation. Project information consists of construction brief and materials relevant to the image of interior design. The interior design information that is based on cases offers various information to designer and customers. In addition, the connection between text information and image information improves the quality of interior design by decreasing the trial and error in interior design processes. Finally, we discuss the method that integrates text and image information of interior design.

This study aims at the development of a cost management system in building interior projects. Renovation and remodeling is activated and expanded much more being compared with new building construction at present. After Interior project proceeding must get out of simple estimate and assumption, then its be needed a formal work process and computerized cost management. Proceeding a building interior project management was proceed in the office and the field. Cost break down, especially, depend on the field manger and used fiend managing money because its not checked by cost manager in office manger. For this study, cost factors are defined in terms of cost break-down interior works which consist of materials and labors. A data model for cost factors was developed, and a relational database is used to realize cost data management based upon this data model. Data input and output are achieved by internet from both of wired PC and mobile phone. This system can timely display a number of needed reports for cost management that identifies cash flow and predicts budget for cost break-down works in interior projects.

Apartments, which are typical residential spaces, are reconstructed or remodeled according to aging. However, reconstruction or remodeling of apartment complexes or an individual building requires following relevant laws and policies and requires a lot of time. Therefore, there are cases where apartment residents choose remodeling that improves the living environment by renovating only the interior of their household. In order to improve the interior space of an apartment, various materials such as windows, toilets, walls, and floors are replaced, and lots of matters must be considered in this process. Several problems arise in the process of selecting a remodeling company and carrying out construction, and the problem must be resolved through owner's decision-making. This study analyzes the problems through the case of apartment interior remodeling and suggests ways to improve them.

Nowadays, according to many studies, indoor space's pollution level is two to ten times higher than outdoor space's. This result arouses our attention. The major causes of deterioration of indoor air quality are the lack of ventilation caused by draught-proofing and insulation construction, and harmful chemical substances emitted from building materials, office machine and furniture. Therefore, we are continuing research to find the method for healthful house and production of many forms of well-being goods. However, because of exaggerated advertisements and the lack of accurate information, consumers choose the products whose performance is not verified. Therefore, this study investigates the actual conditions of pollution by building materials and the extent of the health damage by this pollution, and suggests the method for minimizing indoor pollution in aspect of indoor environment control and the use of environment friendly materials. But the building materials presented in this study are limited to the environment friendly construction materials that are in circulation In domestic market because this research is primarily aimed to give domestic consumers the standard for selecting this materials.

Double skin façade is known that several features affected the building energy and daylighting performance. That is why the envelope is able to consist of all architectural materials such as glass, aluminum, wood and insulation for vision of residents and workers in buildings. Its specifications is very diverse according to the building designers and building owners. In recent times, visual environment became a major focus and resulted in the development of cutting edge engineering of diverse glazing systems and shading devices by growing interests of friendly environment. Thus this research has evaluated the fluctuations of interior lighting and atmospheric conditions based on double skin facade systems. Especially in terms of daylighting environment as dependent on solar variations, this research provides quantitative analysis of interior lighting conditions and how it affects the living conditions as well as improve the design of interior spaces.
