일제강점기 대구부립도서관 건물의 변천과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Transition of the Building of Daegu City Library During the Japanese Colonial Period)

  • 본 연구는 일제강점기 대구부립도서관 건물의 변천과정에 대해 분석하였다. 이를 위해 당시의 신문기사, 도서, 공문서, 관보, 잡지기사, 통계, 도서관의 공식 역사자료, 관련 연구 등을 광범위하게 수집하고 이들에 대해 비교 검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 대구부립도서관에 관한 기존의 연구와 공식 역사자료들은 관련 자료의 서지정보와 원문정보의 부족으로 인해 대구부립도서관 조례 제정일, 최초 도서관 건물, 도서관 신축 건물의 착공일, 준공일, 개관일 등에서 여러 오류들을 가지고 있음을 발견하였다. 끝으로 본 연구는 일제강점기 대구지역의 도서관 역사에 대해 추가적인 연구들을 제언하였다.

건축물 리모델링 사례 분석을 통한 경제성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Economic Assessment Through Case Study of Remodeling)

  • This research is aiming to specify the requirement of the investment such as intial cost, running cost earning rate to make effective investment considering the purpose of remodeling and economical value of store building enough to meet the initial purpose of remodeling. The review of earning for economical evaluation was performed by the on-site auditing on the structure and function of the building and applying the assessment simulation program, which is to find the possible business model to identify the requirement of building owner through case study. After the research, the following results are obtained. First, it is important that many aspects should be carefully analysis and the best method should be selected as characteristics of remodeling can be defer each other in their implementations. Second, though the remodeling of exist building to promote the functions has been applied, no suitable assessment tool has bee developed for deciding the level of remodeling in the view of economical efficiency so far. Third, the economical benefit was evaluated by analysing annual earning rate which is applied by investment items and recovery period for the investment. More specific date base should be established to apply the suggested economic acessments in business enough ti forecast the future circumstances. More researches should be promoted on the area continuously as well as the integrated economic evaluation of remodeling on existing building.

경사진 고층건물의 진화최적화 알고리즘에 기반한 지진응답 제어 (Seismic Response Control of Tilted Tall Building based on Evolutionary Optimization Algorithm)

  • A tilted tall building is actively constructed as landmark structures around world to date. Because lateral displacement responses of a tilted tall building occurs even by its self-weight, reduction of seismic responses is very important to ensure structural safety. In this study, a smart tuned mass damper (STMD) was applied to the example tilted tall building and its seismic response control performance was investigated. The STMD was composed of magnetorheological (MR) damper and it was installed on the top floor of the example building. Control performance of the STMD mainly depends on the control algorithn. Fuzzy logic controller (FLC) was selected as a control algorithm for the STMD. Because composing fuzzy rules and tuning membership functions of FLC are difficult task, evolutionary optimization algorithm (EOA) was used to develop the FLC. After numerical simulations, it has been seen that the STMD controlled by the EOA-optimized FLC can effectively reduce seismic responses fo the tilted tall building.

  • Strarting with Buyeong Apartment in Dongtan-2 disrict in 2017, collective complaints of residents are frequently occurring due to low quality problem such as improper construction and defects of apartment houses. Because of this, the Ministry of Land and Transport is preparing a comprehensive improvement scheme to improve the quality of Apartment Housing(AH), taking into account the continuing complaints from the residents of AH and the problem raised by the National Assembly. The basic profile of the improvement scheme is induce the tenants and experts to discover and point out defects that are repaired until the date of use inspection or due date. For this purpose, we suggested this defects management system linkaged by the preliminary inspection and quality inspection system for prospective occupants. In this context, this paper aims to suggest an effective likage method between the preliminary inspection of prospective residents and the quality inspection system implemented by local governments as an ordinance.

건물 성능디자인을 위한 미기후 기반 기상데이터의 기존 기상데이터와 비교를 통한 활용 가능성 연구 (A study on Applicability through Comparison of Weather Data based on Micro-climate with existing Weather Data for Building Performative Design)

  • The weather data has important role for performative building design. If the data location is close to building site, the result of performative design can be accurate. The data which have used nowadays in Korea are from U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Korea Solar Energy Society (KSES) but they cover only several locations in Korea which are 4 in DOE and 11 in KSES and there are opinions which it could be served building design efficiently even if the data are not enough. However the weather data for micro-climate are exist which are Green Building Studio Virtual Weather Station (GBS VWS) and Meteonorm weather data. Each weather data has different generation methods which are TMY2, TRY, MM5, and extrapolation. In this research, the weather date for climate are compared with DOE and KSES to check correlation. The result shows the value of correlation in Dry Bulb Temp. and Dew Point Temp. is around 0.9 so they have high correlation in both but in Wind Speed case the correlation(around 0.2) is not exist. In overall result, the data has correlation with DOE and KSES as the value of correlation 0.648 of GBS VW and 0.656 of Meteonorm. Even if the correlation value is not high enough, the patterns of difference in each weather element are similar in scatter plot.

Towards Instant Availability and Full Life Cycle Resilience in Vertical Cities: Automated Deployment and Transformation of High-Rise Buildings to Mitigate Social Challenges

  • High-rise buildings often can accommodate the population of small horizontal cities. The investment in high-rise buildings is considerable and therefore a rapid return on investment is necessary. The immediate availability of high-rise buildings can be achieved by automated prefabrication of highly finished modules and their instant on-site assembly by robotic and automated construction sites. A high-rise building as a vertical city can be considered as a sophisticated organism that can constantly change throughout its lifecycle in response to economic growth, demographic change, and environmental pressures. To date, many new urban high-rise developments claim to be "vertical cities", yet few represent this important characteristic. This article analyzed the technological readiness and innovations in the field of construction automation and robotics including single-task construction robots, automated on-site construction factories, and ambient assisted living. These technological advances enable the realization of future vertical cities that are able to continuously grow and transform in terms of form and function. Finally, the article proposes a visionary archetype of vertical city in the name of "dynamic vertical urbanism" that is easy to expand vertically and horizontally in order to achieve instant availability and full life cycle resilience thanks to advanced building technologies.

지진취약도 함수 개선을 위한 철근콘크리트 건물의 구조 유형 분류 방안 (A Classification Methodology of Structural Types of RC Buildings for Improving Seismic Fragility Functions)

  • The methodology classifying structural types of concrete buildings in the existing seismic fragility functions is too simple to estimate the fragility of existing residential buildings and neighborhood living facilities, especially those below five stories. Their structural types are dependent on information contained in the building register such as main use, total floor area, story, permission date, and first story floor area of the individual building. All of this information is not considered for classifying types in the existing functions; therefore, the goal of this study was to suggest a methodology that classifies structural types of concrete buildings by utilizing such information. The results of this study showed that the suggested methodology can classify structural types better than the existing methodology. Nevertheless, there is still a need to simplify the methodology because fragility estimation demands quickness rather than accuracy.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재까지 셀룰라 서비스와 PCS서비스를 위해 얻어진 전파전파 측정에 대한 전체적인 요약을 하였다. 이렇게 얻어진 협대역신호 기반의 측정치와 광대역 신호에 의한 이동통신 채널 측정에 대해 고찰을 한 후 미국 캘리포니아의 오클랜드시에서 얻어진 측정치를 이용하여 불규칙한 높이의 건물로 이뤄진 도시 환경에서 쓰일 수 있는 마이크로셀용 신호 감쇄 예측 공식을 만들고, 이를 균일한 높이의 건물로 이뤄진 환경에서 얻은 신호 감쇄 예측 공식과 비교하였다.

Review of Buckling-Restrained Brace Design and Application to Tall Buildings

  • Buckling-restrained braces (BRBs) are widely used as highly ductile seismic devices, with the first building using BRBs completed in 1989 in Tokyo, and thousands more now in Japan, USA, Taiwan, China, New Zealand and other countries. Although design codes of several countries specify BRB performance criteria, detailed design provisions are not necessarily provided, as BRBs are typically treated as a manufactured device. This paper briefly reviews the early history of BRB research and offers state-of-the-art views on the design criteria required to obtain stable and reliable performance. Representative project examples and up-to-date studies relevant to tall buildings are summarized.
