Incheon City move onward re-modeling about Jayu Park(public park) in Incheon city. The building restoration must equip all data which are necessary to a restoration and it must be advanced and, currently the project which is advanced is not like that. The place objective which evaluates the restoration possibility of the modern time building where this dissertation is included consequently in project contents it is letting. The evaluation result data is not secured not to be, the restoration is impossible. Also simplicity reappearance of the building where the function disappears without being true feelings characteristic is there is not a possibility of having a construction value. The modern time building restoration which Incheon City it propels consequently it is right to be discontinued.
Vertical meteorological conditions encountered by super tall buildings, such as wind speed, temperature and humidity, vary due to their height. Therefore, it is necessary to consider these environmental changes to properly estimate the heating and cooling loads, and to minimize the energy demands for HVAC in super tall buildings. This paper aims to analyze how vertical meteorological changes affect heating and cooling loads of super tall buildings by using numerical simulation. A radiosonde, which observes atmospheric parameters of upper air such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity and pressure, was used to provide weather data for the building load simulation. A hypothetical super tall building was used for the simulation to provide quantified characteristics of the heating and cooling loads, comparing the lower, middle and upper parts of the building. The effect of weather data on the heating and cooling loads in super tall building was also discussed.

LiDAR has capability of rapid data acquisition and provides useful information for reconstructing surface of the Earth. However, Extracting information from LiDAR data is not easy task because LiDAR data consist of irregularly distributed point clouds of 3D coordinates and lack of semantic and visual information. This thesis proposed methods for automatic extraction of buildings and 3D detail modeling using airborne LiDAR data. As for preprocessing, noise and unnecessary data were removed by iterative surface fitting and then classification of ground and non-ground data was performed by analyzing histogram. Footprints of the buildings were extracted by tracing points on the building boundaries. The refined footprints were obtained by regularization based on the building hypothesis. The accuracy of building footprints were evaluated by comparing with 1:1,000 digital vector maps. The horizontal RMSE was 0.56m for test areas. Finally, a method of 3D modeling of roof superstructure was developed. Statistical and geometric information of the LiDAR data on building roof were analyzed to segment data and to determine roof shape. The superstructures on the roof were modeled by 3D analytical functions that were derived by least square method. The accuracy of the 3D modeling was estimated using simulation data. The RMSEs were 0.91m, 1.43m, 1.85m and 1.97m for flat, sloped, arch and dome shapes, respectively. The methods developed in study show that the automation of 3D building modeling process was effectively performed.

High-rise building construction has been increasing for the recent years and the construction process has become more complicated. This suggests a need for precise planning based on reliable data to prevent cost overruns and delays. However, the process planning is implemented based mainly on the experience of engineers that can result in critical damage in cost and time. Accurate productivity estimation and unit cost analysis must be considered important matter to prevent such disaster. This study estimates productivity and unit cost of curtain wall operations in high-rise building construction by simulation techniques and statistical methodologies. This study suggests a decision making methodology for the site personnel that enables to compare various combinations of productivity and unit cost based on reliable data that has been collected in actual construction sites. It is expected that this study contributes to the following research of developing an optimized construction performance assembling model for the site personnel.
This paper presents an algorithm that automatically extracts buildings among many different features on the earth surface by fusing LIDAR data with panchromatic aerial images. The proposed algorithm consists of three stages such as point level process, polygon level process, parameter space level process. At the first stage, we eliminate gross errors and apply a local maxima filter to detect building candidate points from the raw laser scanning data. After then, a grouping procedure is performed for segmenting raw LIDAR data and the segmented LIDAR data is polygonized by the encasing polygon algorithm developed in the research. At the second stage, we eliminate non-building polygons using several constraints such as area and circularity. At the last stage, all the polygons generated at the second stage are projected onto the aerial stereo images through collinearity condition equations. Finally, we fuse the projected encasing polygons with edges detected by image processing for refining the building segments. The experimental results showed that the RMSEs of building corners in X, Y and Z were ${\pm}$8.1㎝, ${\pm}$24.7㎝, ${\pm}$35.9㎝, respectively.
In this research, we presented a data integration, which integrates ultra high resolution images and complementary data for 3D building reconstruction. In our method, as the ultra high resolution image, Three Line Sensor (TLS) images are used in combination with 2D digital maps, DSMs and both of them. Reconstructed 3D buildings, correctness rate and the accuracy of results were presented. As a result, optimized combination scheme of data sets , sensors and methods was proposed.
Light environment in the school building is one of the most important elements of the plan in order to improve student's ability to learn and the healthy growth. Thus, the window plan of the school building is a great addition to improve environmental-friendly performance through the daylight control. Daylight is highly beneficial for improving the indoor environmental quality and reducing building energy consumption, daylighting applications are scarcely considered, especially during the school building design process, because of lack of previous studies on the light environment of student and complex simulation process. Therefore, daylighting process were performed using ECOTECT, which has various advantage such as easy user interface and simple simulation processes. ECOTECT simulation were performed using weather data. As a result, ECOTECT simulation are performed for daylight autonomy and useful daylight illuminance. Using this data, Window planing is to propose and effective method in the early stages of design.

In this paper, for the pratical building envoronments, the propagation properties of the electromagnetic waves of the sub-1GHz bands, including the 447MHz, 868MHz, and 715MHz, and the 2.4GHz band are experimentally observed in therms of the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) value. The compasion of the frequency bands can be utilized to efficiently construct the wireless sensor networks (WSN) for the building automation control. In order to measure the RSSI values in the building, an RSSI measurement system is first designed, in which the master part can transmit data packets and measure the corresponding RSSI values, and the slave part can respond the received data packets. Using the measurement system, the RSSI values are then experimentally measured at four types of building enviroments. From the experimental result analysis, we could notice that the sub-1GHz, especially the 447MHz band, showd a good communication performance for the building environment and could provide an efficient WSN construction when the data rate is relatively low.
Today 55 percent of the population in the world lives in urban areas which is expected to increase to 68 percent by the year 2050. In the cities, high-rise buildings as symbols of the modern cityscape are dominating the skylines, but the data to demonstrate their embodied energy and environmental impacts are scarce, compared to low- or mid-rise buildings. Reducing the embodied energy and environmental impacts of buildings is critical as about 42 percent of primary energy use and 39 percent of the global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions come from the building sector. However, it is an overlooked area in embodied energy and environmental impacts of high-rise buildings. Life cycle assessment (LCA) is a widely used tool to quantify the embodied energy and environmental impacts of the building sector. LCA combined with Building Information Modeling (BIM) can simplify data acquisition of the building as well as provide both tools with feedback. Several studies recognize that the integration of BIM and LCA can simplify data acquisition of the building as well as provide tools with feedback. This article provides an overview of literature on BIM-based of embodied energy and environmental impacts of high-rise buildings. It also compares with different LCA methodologies. Finally, major strategies to reduce embodied energy and environmental impacts of high-rise buildings, research limitations and trends in the field are covered.

Urban flooding threatens human beings and facilities with chemical and physical hazards since the beginning of human civilization. Recent studies have emphasized the integration of data and models for effective urban flood inundation modeling. However, the model set-up process is tend to be time consuming and to require a high level of data processing skill. Furthermore, in spite of the use of high resolution grid data, inundation depth and velocity are varied with building treatment methods in 2-D inundation model, because undesirable grids are generated and resulted in the reliability decline of the simulation results. Thus, it requires building generalization process or enhancing building orthogonality to minimize the distortion of building before converting building footprint into grid data. This study aims to develop building generalization method for 2-dimensional inundation analysis to enhance the model reliability, and to investigate the effect of building generalization method on urban inundation in terms of geographical engineering and hydraulic engineering. As a result to improve the reliability of 2-dimensional inundation analysis, the building generalization method developed in this study should be adapted using Digital Building Model(DBM) before model implementation in urban area. The proposed building generalization sequence was aggregation-simplification, and the threshold of the each method should be determined by considering spatial characteristics, which should not exceed the summation of building gap average and standard deviation.
