군사시설 내 지열 히트펌프 시스템 적용에 따른 에너지 성능과 비용 절감 효과 평가 (Energy Performance and Cost Assessment for Implementing GroundSource Heat Pump System in Military Building)

  • The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea is showing a lot of interest in net zero-energy buildings (NZEBs) to reduce energy consumption of military facilities and to promote green growth policy in military sector. The application of building passive technologies and renewable energies is essential to achieving NZEBs. This paper analyzed energy performance and energy cost on the conventional heating and cooling system (baseline scenario) and three different alternative scenarios (ALT 1, ALT 2 and ALT 3) applied in a hypothetical military building. A building modeling and simulation software (DesignBuilder V6.1) with EnergyPlus calculation engine was used to calculate the energy consumption for each scenario. Overall, when the GSHPs are applied to both space airconditioning and domestic hot water (DHW) production, Alt-2 and Alt-3, the amount of energy consumption for target building can be greatly reduced. In addition, when the building envelope performance is increased like Alt-3, the energy consumption can be further reduced. The annual energy cost analysis showed that the baseline was approximately 161 million KRW, while Alt-3 was approximately 33 million KRW. Therefore, it was analyzed that the initial construction cost increase could be recovered within about 6.7 years for ALT 3. The results of this study can help decision-makers to determine the optimal strategy for implementing GSHP systems in military buildings through energy performance and initial construction cost assessment.

  • As a way to improve productivity and integrated project delivery in construction industry, BIM(building Information Modeling) using IT technique is being studied and applied recently. S-BIM application Process was established that enable efficient work through Structural BIM detailed Model in consideration of the collaboration among relevant fields. This study has the objective applying S-BIM technique to enable effective Cost Analysis in initial design phase and presenting the method for practical works using Construction Cost Analysis Process based on S-BIM.

  • If we build new building after demolition of commercial building that is located in the downtown, it will be caused a social and environmental problem as wasting of resources and generating of waste. In this study, I investigated about remodel ins, this conclusion is given below. 1. Reconstruction cost is 2.1 times, and construction period is 1.4 times as much remodeling. So remodeling has an advantage. 2. For repairing and reinforcing timeworn building, we reinforced it as using carbon fiber sheet (girder, slab) and injecting method steel plate bonding Also, we tried to maintain efficiency of new building as using epoxy to protect concrete crack. 3. In the side of waste products and cost, remodeling has much more advantage than reconstruct. But demolition used construction period much. Because it had to be reused as repairing and reinforcing. And there was no difference between remodeling cost and reconstruct cost. If we develop research with enterprise.university.laboratory to exploit material and equipment and to train specialized engineer who will has a capacity to know construct repair and reinforce, it can be attribute to prevail remodeling in new construct market.

  • Building components such as walls and windows causes the loss of many energy. The current of windows are using by the law standards that have been every reinforce the year from 2008. As the more reinforcement of legal standards, benefits of energy is possible to raising, But it is must to considered LCC and connectivity. In this study, the alteration for Law Standards is examining influence for initial cost. Accordingly, We are searches by using to windows products in domestic office building which choosing to window types in Law Standards, we are analyzed for initial cost of building out of the apartment.

Sustainable Design and Its Cost: Case Study of Nanning China Resources Tower

  • Sustainability is becoming more and more important in our everyday lives. Thus, it is apparent that more sustainable initiatives are incorporated in a building design concept to reduce operation costs and environmental impacts. However, will the construction cost go up if the building is going green - especially if it is a tall building? This is the question on everyone's mind. In the following paragraphs, we will look into a case study of a skyscraper in Nanning, China. That 411-metre skyscraper, Nanning China Resources Centre East Office Tower, is currently under construction. Designed to LEED-CS Gold standards, the building has adopted a number of sustainable design elements and operation practice, which indeed only accounts for a small percentage of the total construction cost.

노후 학교건물의 유지관리비용 정책 평가를 위한 시스템 다이내믹스 모델 (A System Dynamics Model for Evaluation of Maintenance Cost Policy in Deteriorated School Building)

  • The maintenance of school building is pivotal issue. However, it is difficult to obtain basic analysis data for LCC(Lifecycle Cost) analysis and maintenance planning of school building. Therefore, this study proposed System Dynamics(SD) techniques to make maintenance decisions for school building. The interaction between the major parameters related to the aging of a building, maintenance activities, and cost were expressed in Causal Loop Diagram. Based on this, the formula for the relationship between causal maps was defined and converted to Stock and Flow Diagram. Through the completed SD model the 50-year plan of 214 educational building were tested by considered in account budget, maintainability, and budget allocation opinions. As a result, the integrated SD model demonstrated that it can support strategic decision making by identifying the status class and LCC behavior of school buildings by scenario. According to the scenario analysis, the rehabilitation action of preventive maintenance that primarily repairs the buildings in condition grade C showed the best performance improvement effect relative to the cost. Therefore, if the proposed SD model is expanded to consider the effects of other educational policies, the crucial performance improvement budget can be estimated in the long-term perspective.

  • It is necessary to the development of the best maintenance system for applying the long-term maintenance plan using the cost breakdown structure in the educational facilities. This study developed the cost breakdown structure for the best maintenance system using the delphi method. For the convenience of maintenance, the maintenance cost breakdown structures are separated into building exterior wall, building inside wall, electric installation, heating installation and outdoor facilities. And these results atomized in each parts. And this study constructed the cost breakdown structure to maintenance's practicality and effectiveness through the expert analysis.

  • Building management cost increases enormously as modern buildings become complicated. Lost of building eveners or managers feel the need to cut down the cost not sacrifying Comfort building environment and building safety, The ways to achieve such goal are maintaing with a few person, proper HVAC scheduling to save energy BAS's i.e the building automation system or building maintenance system, are designed to meet the goal. In korea, imported BAS's have been installed past several years. Difficulties arised in several aspects. One is extra high cost in installing BAS's because of marginal coat. Another is long settling time because it is originated from abroad. GSC/85/30 is the first trial as a korean BAS to minimize such difficulties. Even though it is a primitive system, it is a mileston of korean BAS the technics gained from developing GSCI/85/30 can be utilized to develop higher version and is now. As modern buildings become more complicated and hugy, managers owner of buildings seek for the system to manage building properly. BAS(Building Automation System or Building management system) is designed to meet the need.

  • This study is to evaluate on the increased cost of construction according to the depth change of concrete slabs in apartment building. When we increased the depth of concrete slab from 150mm to 180, 210mm, the qualitative and cost of construction were calculated by the high-rise type, the unit-size type. As a result of this study, in 32 Pyong type, increment of construction cost rate appeared by $5.1\%$ in case of increase from slab 150mm to 180mm, and $10.0\%$ in case of increase from slab 150mm to 210mm. In 45 Pyong type, Increment of construction cost rate appeared by $5.7\%$ in case of increase from slab 150mm to 180mm, and $10.2\%$ in case of increase from slab 150mm to 210mm. In 55 Pyong type, Increment of construction cost rate appeared by $2.4\%$ in case of increase from slab 150mm to 180mm, and $8.9\%$ in case of increase from slab 150mm to 210mm.

공사규모에 따른 공공건축물 공사비의 산정방법 (Cost Estimating Method of Public Building Construction through Construction Scale)

  • 공공건축물공사의 실적공사비제도에서 공사규모에 대한 건축공사비 차이가 크게 나타나므로, 산정방식에서 많은 문제점으로 제기된다. 이에 공사규모에 따라서 선별적, 차등적으로 적용할 예측모형의 개발이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 조달청에서 2011~2012년에 발주한 이미 준공된 42개 현장의 실적자료에서 공사규모 $5,000m^2{\sim}20,000m^2$으로 선정하여, 회귀분석을 통해서 추정된 모형을 도출하였다. 이를 근거로 신규공사에 적용하여 검증함으로써 합리적인 건축공사비 예측모형을 제시하였다.
