본 연구에서는 HDTV방송 4년째를 맞고 있는 국내 지상파TV 3사의 HDTV프로그램 편성관계자와 제작PD와의 심층인터뷰, HDTV 편성 특성에 관한 분석을 통해서 HDTV 편성상의 문제점을 비판적으로 고찰하고, 활성화 방안을 모색해 보았다. 먼저 편성상의 특징을 살펴본 결과 방송위원회가 규정한 주당 13시간 이상의 시간량을 훨씬 초과해서 편성하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 주시청시간대의 HDTV 편성비율이 낮아 수용자들이 HDTV를 경험할 수 있는 기회가 제한되고, 고화질, 광폭화면 등 HDTV의 특성을 구현할 수 있고, 조기 수용자(early adopter)들이 선호하는 다큐멘터리, 스포츠, 영화 등의 편성비율이 낮다는 점에서 HDTV 확산에 도움을 주지 못하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 이를 개선하기 위해서는 방송사들이 초기 제작비 부담이 있더라도 HDTV 제작에 관한 경쟁력 강화와 향후 수용자 확보를 위해서 다큐멘터리나 스포츠, 드라마에 대한 적극적인 편성전략을 모색해야 하며, 지상파TV 디지털전환의 또 다른 주체인 정책당국과 가전업체의 HD콘텐츠 제작 활성화를 위한 적극적 지원이 요구된다.

본 연구에서는 국내 콘텐츠 생산 및 유통방식의 급격한 변화에 따른 방송장비 구매 수요처의 절대적인 장비구매 인식을 비교하였으며 이에 수요자가 지각하는 국산 방송장비의 기술 신뢰도, 시스템 안정성 등의 정보의 정도가 장비구매에 미치는 영향을 연구모델을 통해 분석하였다. 방송 장비 수요에 관한, 기존 연구 데이터의 미진함으로 인하여 방송장비 전문가들과의 심층인터뷰와 설문조사를 병행하였다. 분석 결과로 외산장비에 비해 국내 장비의 단품구매와 시스템, Block구매의 경우가 많아 호환 경쟁력이 미흡하고 기술발전이 늦다. 국내 방송장비수요처가 인식하고 있는 국산방송 장비에 대한 선호, 만족도의 향상을 기하기 위한 기술 신뢰도 증진과 핵심 주요장비의 개발이 시급하며 소출력 송신기 안테나, 모니터장비에 국한되어있는 국산 장비의 공급을 확장하기 위한 개발이 시급하고 해외진출과 시장을 확보하기 위한 국내육성 지원도 요구된다.

계층적 부호화 방식은 멀티미디어 방송 및 멀티캐스팅 서비스(multimedia broadcasting and multicasting services; MBMS)등과 같이 단방향의 서비스에서 신호 품질에 대한 피드백 정보의 활용이 어려울 경우 사용할 수 있는 적응형 수신 기법 중의 하나이다. 이 기술은 계층적 변조 방식과 결합하여 사용함으로써, 부호화율과 변조 방식을 적절하게 결합하여 사용할 수 있는 방식이다. 또한, 터보부호와 결합된 시공간부호를 이용하여 멀티미디어 방송 서비스 제공에 있어서 위성-지상 통합망에서 효과적으로 다이버시티 이득을 얻을 수 있음이 보여왔다. 본 논문에서는 계층적 터보 부호와 결합된 시공간 부호화 방식을 위성-지상 통합 망에 적용하는 방안을 제시한다. 먼저, 시스템 구조 및 동작 원리를 설명하고, 실제 적용 예제들을 제시한다.

현재 e-CRM은 다양한 유형의 e-비즈니스에서 활용되고 있다. 이 가운데 본 연구에서는 지금까지 비교적 e-비즈니스 연구에 있어 사각지대에 놓여 있던 방송사의 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트를 활성화하기 위한 e-CRM을 연구함에 있어 성공적이면서 지속 가능한 커뮤니티를 특징짓는 요건들을 중심으로 각 방송사 사이트들을 분석하고 활성화 모형을 제시하고자 하였다. 방송사들에 대한 온라인 커뮤니티 사례를 분석한 결과 방송사들의 인터넷 사이트는 컨텐츠, 커뮤니티, 커머스의 순으로 발전하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 사례분석에 근거하여 고객관계관리 활성화 모형을 고객유치, 고객유지, 고객강화, 고객활성화의 네 단계로 구분하여 주요한 이슈들을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 고객관계관리 활성화 모형은 향후 후속연구를 위한 이론적 기반과 실무적 시사점을 제공하기를 기대한다.

In modern society, digital lifestyles are spreading to minimize contact with people and to receive contactless information. The spread trend has established an unmanned distribution system in which transactions through contactless technologies such as kiosks and chatbots are activated in face-to-face transactions with sellers and consumers. In order to streamline logistics supply worldwide, digital new deal based joint logistics hubs, unmanned courier storage platforms, and fresh logistics based last mile services have been developed into unmanned logistics systems, focusing on the intelligent logistics system automation process. Unmanned courier storage system installed in urban areas and home to daily logistics where volume is concentrated are provided with fresh logistics services through cold chain and receiving freights in contactless environments. Development is also underway to minimize safety accidents caused by courier services, such as managing various information based on the integrated control system. This paper defines the concept of integrated operation for the development of a platform for contactless unmanned courier storage device developed into next-generation logistics system. In addition, we intend to develop systems engineering-based output for deriving safety requirements and specifications by identifying risk sources that may occur in the operational scenario. Therefore, the goal is to establish a foundation for safety and reliability between interfaces of logistics systems to be installed in apartment and subway station environments that want to provide unmanned logistics services to various consumers.

다양한 병원 정보 시스템 환경에서 서로 다른 인터페이스 규격을 가지는 의료기기들을 통합하기 위한 의료기기 통합 게이트웨이(MG, Medical Gateway)는 하나의 장비로 여러 의료기기들을 인터페이스 할 수 있기 때문에 기존의 PC를 게이트웨이로 사용하는 환경에 비해 관리의 효율성과 비용적인 측면에서도 많은 이득을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 MG를 통해 여러 의료기기들을 통합 한다 하더라도 데이터를 EMR 시스템과 연동하기 위해서는 각 병원시스템과 DB 구성에 따라 개별적인 프로그램이나 추가적인 시스템 도입이 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 MG와 EMR 시스템간의 연동을 위한 표준기반의 메시지 규격을 설계하고 설계된 메시지를 처리할 수 있는 서버를 구현한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 메시지 규격과 서버는 환경이 서로 다른 병원에서도 MG와의 데이터 교환이 용이하게 하여 디지털병원 수출 프로젝트와 같은 국내의 선진 병원 구축 기술과 IT 기술을 해외에 수출하는 국가적인 프로젝트에 기여할 수 있다.

Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) can solve real problems by utilizing closely connected resources in the cyber world. Most problems arise because the physical world is uncertain and unpredictable. To address this uncertainty, information pouring from numerous devices must be collected in real-time, and each interconnected device must share the information. At this time, CPS must meet timing-related techniques and strict timing constraints that can deliver accurate information within predefined deadlines in order to interact closely beyond simply connecting the cyber and physical worlds. Timing errors in safety-critical systems, such as automobiles, aviation, and medical systems, can lead to catastrophic disasters. In this paper, we classify timing problems into two types: real-time delay and synchronization problems. The results of this study can be used in the entire process of CPS system design, implementation, operation, verification, and maintenance. As a result, it can contribute to securing the safety and reliability of CPS.

In this paper, the RedMAP, i.e. a redundant Mini-MAP system for high reliability is proposed. Redundancy is implemented for LLC, MAC, and Physical layer of ISL-Mini -MAP. The detection of error of the network, the broadcasting of the error event, and the network change sequence are three major functions for the dualized Mini-MAP system. The abnormal operation of the network is mainly detected indirectly with the function of the TBC( token bus controller). The time delay to be required for the change of the networks must be minimized. With the RedMAP, we can achieve successful transmission only with short additional recovery time.

A video summary abstracts the gist from an entire video and also enables efficient access to the desired content. In this paper, we propose a novel method for summarizing news video based on multimodal analysis of the content. The proposed method exploits the closed caption data to locate semantically meaningful highlights in a news video and speech signals in an audio stream to align the closed caption data with the video in a time-line. Then, the detected highlights are described using MPEG-7 Summarization Description Scheme, which allows efficient browsing of the content through such functionalities as multi-level abstracts and navigation guidance. Multimodal search and retrieval are also within the proposed framework. By indexing synchronized closed caption data, the video clips are searchable by inputting a text query. Intensive experiments with prototypical systems are presented to demonstrate the validity and reliability of the proposed method in real applications.

일본의 공명방송 NHK가 위기에 직면해있다. NHK의 위기는 제도적 규범과 실태 간의 모순에 기인한다. 시청자의 신뢰를 회복하기 위해 NHK에서는 '개혁재생사업'을 추진하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 개혁사업은 감사, 기업통치, 법령 준수 등 관리체제의 강화에 초점이 맞춰져 있으며, 결과적으로 제작진의 내부적 자유, 전문주의, 저널리즘을 위축시키고 있다. 또한 시청자 시민에 대한 설명책임에도 해결해야 할 과제가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 공영방송이 설명책임을 실천하기 위해서는 기업통치의 변용, 구체적으로 독립규제기관의 설립, 경영위원회의 강화 등 제도적 개혁이 선행되어야 한다. 이와 함께 제작진에게 내부적 자유를 보장해야 하며, 공영방송은 시민에게 보다 많은 책임을 짊어져야 한다는 인식이 필요하다. 이를 바탕으로 시청자에게 공영방송의 운영, 사업계획, 업무성과, 편성, 프로그램 내용 등의 차원에서 공익적 역할을 성실하게 수행하고 있는가를 스스로 측정 평가하여 그 내용을 공개하고 설명해야 하며, 시청자의 의견과 요구에 성실하게 답변하고 해명하려는 노력이 필요하다. 시청자는 적극적인 참여를 통해 공영방송을 지탱하는 제도적 부담을 분담해야 한다.
