Brightness 50%, GREEN 50% increase in the degree of pleasure (X-axis) of 10.49 points, tone (Y axis) has increased by 15.85 points. Brightness 50% of the free-extent (X-axis), BLUE 50% when the tone (Y axis), pleasure extent (X-axis) of 10.49 points, tone (Y axis) as much as 14.65 points sensibilities have changed. When representatives emotions size changes have increased 50% brightness, color RED 50%, increased 5.4% Emotional excitement, emotion depressed declined -4.2%. 50% brightness, color GREEN 50% increase in emotional excitement had increased to 8.6%, declined by -5.5% this melancholy sensibility. Representative emotion and emotional changes increase or decrease the size of the emotional attributes were analyzed by quantitative methods. After the happy emotions number is needed to study more similar to the human emotion through the execution of the video image emotion emotional tree computing.

  • In this paper, face recognition algorithm, by using skin color information of HSI color coordinate collected from face images, elliptical mask, fratures of face including eyes, nose and mouth, and geometrical feature vectors of face and facial angles, is proposed. The proposed algorithm improved face region extraction efficacy by using HSI information relatively similar to human's visual system along with color tone information about skin colors of face, elliptical mask and intensity information. Moreover, it improved face recognition efficacy with using feature information of eyes, nose and mouth, and Θ1(ACRED), Θ2(AMRED) and Θ 3(ANRED), which are geometrical face angles of face. In the proposed algorithm, it enables exact face reading by using color tone information, elliptical mask, brightness information and structural characteristic angle together, not like using only brightness information in existing algorithm. Moreover, it uses structural related value of characteristics and certain vectors together for the recognition method.

  • This paper suggests a method of color variation technique to generate stable white light. The light from high brightness RGB LED was mixed according to the RGB LED luminance ratio. A microcontroller-based PWM control circuit and switching circuit is used to achieve full color variation. It is confirmed that the stable white light and full color variation is possible.

  • Reference white in color television receiver can be achieved by adjusting the RGB gun current ratio and it is necessary to provide additional gain ratio adjustment for the RGB video signal. Generally, the gun current density profile has a gaussian distribution and the gain-bandwidth product of RGB channel amplifieris constant. Therefore brightness and spatial resolution are changed with variations in reference white of receiver. In this paper, the effect of RGB gun current and channel gain ratios on brightness and resolution of CPT is analyzed. Brightness is increased with the color temperature of referenc white because of Helmholtz-kohlrausch effect. The change in ligh output is more abrupt and spatial resolution is improved with unity current ratio. For more bright and improved ressolution we also present the range of color temperature of reference white for P22 phosphors.

  • A Radioactive constraint of the nuclear fuel assembly irradiated by neutron during normal operation cycle of the nuclear power plant is typically on the order of about 3 kGy/h. In order to inspect nuclear fuel assembly using a VT (vision technology) system, the light such as halogen lamp is used. As the halogen lamp has lower color temperature than the sun light, the objects under halogen lamp illumination are seemed to be tinted with red. In this paper, high brightness LED is considered to be used as the light source of VT system. The high brightness LED, which is a key light source of the VT system, have been gamma irradiated at the dose rate of 4 kGy/h during two hours up to a total dose of 8 kGy. The radiation induced color-center in the LED housing cap made of plastics materials is observed.

  • The prototype of the field emission display with carbon nanotube emitter is developed in this study. To improve the brightness and color gamut of the prototype, new phosphor material, $SrGa_2S_4:Eu$, is adopted instead of conventional CRT-green phosphor. By replacing the green phosphor, the prototype shows significant improvements in the brightness and color gamut. At the anode voltage of 7 kV and the anode current of $2{\sim}3\;{\mu}A/cm^2$ the brightness is higher than $600\;cd/m^2$. The luminous efficiency of the prototype is about 7.7 lm/Watt.

  • Phosphorescent PET/liquid color films and phosphorescent PET/disperse dyes films were prepared by melt casting method using Hot press. Then, weight ratios and exhaustion percent of films were 0.7, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0, and 2.3 wt.%. The effects of L/C and D/D contents(wt.%) of films on the thermal properties, crystal structure, H(%), brightness$(mcd/mm^2)$, morphology, and tensile properties were investigated by means of DSC and WAXD, etc. It was found that the melting temperature and crystalline diffraction peaks were not changes with increasing the liquid color contents and disperse dyes exhaustion. Also, in case of using liquid color to phosphorescent PET film, the H(%) and brightness$(mcd/mm^2)$ value were superior to phos.PET/disperse dyes film. The tensile strength and the tensile modulus were decreased with increasing the contents of liquid color and exhaustion of disperse dyes in the phosphorescent PET film. Also, the elongation at break was increased with increasing the contents of liquid color and exhaustion of disperse dyes in the phosphorescent PET film.

  • Recognition of licence plate becomes a key issue to many traffic related application such as road traffic monitoring or parking lots access control. In this paper, the brightness, YIQ and HSI methods were used to locate a license. After the characters in license plate were extracted, template matching method was applied for character recognitions. To test the performance of the proposed algorithm, images of seventy vehicle were tested. The success rates for license plate and character recognition were approximately 99%, and 96%, respectively

  • 영상 디스플레이에서 Brigtness와 Contrast의 조전상태는 영상색에 지대한 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 최적의 Contrst와 Contrast 상태를 손쉽게 조절할 수 있는 패턴을 고안하였으며 Brightness/Contrast 통합 조절방법을 제시하여 주변 조명이나 개인의 감성에 따른 영상색의 쉽고 다양한 조정을 가능하게 하여 사용자의 편의성을 높였다.
