MULTILEVEL 전압형 인버터들을 사용한 D-STATCON의 제어 (Control of The D-STATCON Using Multilevel Voltage Source Inverters)

  • D-STATCON using the multilevel voltage source inverters is presented for voltage regulation and reactive power compensation in distribution system. This cascade M-level inverter consists of (M-1)/2 single phase full bridge inverter(FBI). This multilevel inverter is a natural fit to the flexible ac transmission systems(FACTS) including STATCON, SVC, series compensation and phase shifting, It can solve the problems of conventional transformer-based multipulse inverters and multilevel diode-clamped inverters. From the simulation results, the superiority of D-STATCON with cascade multilevel inverter is shown for high power application.

  • This paper proposes a new sinusoidal rectifier which improves input factor and input current waveform without complicated switching modulation such as pulse width or a complicated feed back control. The proposed rectifier consists of a pair of capacitors connected in series, a full bridge diode rectifier, a pair of inductors, and a pair of switching devices connected in series. While the configuration of the sinusoidal rectifier is simple in itself, it effectively reduces the reactive power and harmonics involved(IEC555-2 SC77A90 Class C) in input line current. The excellent properties of the new sinusoidal rectifier are verified by theoretical analysis and experimental results.

  • 본 논문에서는 다수의 고주파 단상 변압기를 사용하여 다수의 독립된 직류 전압원을 만들 수 있는, 여러 다이오드 정류기와 연결된 풀 브릿지 DC-DC 컨버터에 대한 분석 및 제어 기법을 제안한다. 본 토폴로지의 경우 제어 대상인 2차단 직류단이 다수이지만 1차단 스위칭 회로가 하나의 풀 브릿지 회로이기 때문에 2차단 전압의 개별 제어를 위한 자유도가 부족하다. 이에 따라 다수 직류단 전압의 평균 값을 제어하는 방식이 사용된다. 이때, 각 직류단에 다른 용량의 부하가 연결되어 있는 상황에 대하여 상세한 분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 제시된 토폴로지(Topology)를 하드 스위칭 기반의 DCM(Discontinuous Conduction Mode) 및 CCM(Continuous Conduction Mode) 동작의 경우에 대해 분석한다. 이를 바탕으로, 직류단 전압 제어를 위한 전향 보상 및 안티 와인드업을 포함하는 Integral and Proportional (IP) 제어기를 구성하고, 제어기 이득 및 전향 보상을 수식화 한다. 최종적으로 구해지는 제어기의 전달 함수를 통해, 제어기가 정확하게 설계되었는지 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 검증한다.

고주파링크 방식을 이용한 계통연계형 태양광발전시스템 (Utility Interactive Inverter with High-frequency Link for Photovoltaic Power System)

  • An investigation into power conditioners that interface with photovoltaic array and utilities has been completed. The rating for this investigation is residential system (3-5kW) that interface with a 220V single phase utility connection. As the result of this investigation. a 3kW high frequency PWM IGBT inverter feeding a high frequency isolation transformer with a sinusoidal current wave was selected. The output of the transformer rectified with a diode bridge rectifier four IGBT, used as 60Hz switched, reverse the polarity of the rectified current on every other half cycle of the utility voltage. Even though the high frequency link system used more power semiconductors, a net size, weight, and parts cost saving result compared to the other systems due to elimination of 60Hz transformer.

  • This paper is indicating the problems, which are the conduction loss on the high frequency transformer, the protection of rectification diode as the snubber loss and the stress of switching main devices, as be made high current and high speed in the phase-shift switching full-bridge DC-DC converter is used the power supply’s main circuit of high capacity. To improve those problems, in this paper, it is proposed that is the resonant circuit auxiliary can be reduced conduction losses and stabilized output control. And, it is constructed prototype of the power supply as the result of computer simulations.

단상 계통연계형 태양광 발전 시스템용 고효율 MOSFET 인버터 (Highly Efficient MOSFET Inverter for Single-Phase Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems)

  • A highly efficient MOSFET inverter for single-phase grid-connected photovoltaic power generation systems is presented in this paper. It is a full-MOSFET version of the conventional transformerless full-bridge inverter with dual L-C filters using unipolar PWM. The key idea lies on smart pre switching(SPS), which can make the large switching loss due to a poor reverse recovery of the MOSFET's body diode reduced dramatically. The validity of the proposed inverter is verified by experiment.

A New AC/DC Converter for the Interconnections between Wind Farms and HVDC Transmission Lines

  • In this paper, a new ac/dc converter is proposed for HVDC-connected wind farms. The proposed converter provides a suitable dc voltage for HVDC transmission systems. Each wind turbine is connected to two full bridge diode rectifiers. These rectifiers are connected to each other by three thyristors. Firing the thyristors at desired angles provides an adjustable dc voltage in the output of the converter. Simulation results show the efficiency of the proposed converter.

  • The AC-DC Adapter has been widely used in Mobile Phones, Note Book PC, LCD monitors, and portable electronic products. Recently, high-power-density Adapter was developed. This adapter increases power factor using a bridge diode rectifier and PFC, however, there are weak points that improving efficiency is limited. In the bridgeless rectifier circuit proposed in this paper, there is no PFC, however, the power factor and efficiency are improved by BCM and ZCS operations.

  • Compare with diode or thyristor bridge AC/DC converter, the 3 phase PWM converter has some merits of low THD and unit power factor. So, in many critical application like as UPS, using PWM converter is the trends. 3 phase PWM converter had been studied widely already. But analytical design procedure can not found from publication for hardware design and controller design. So, in this paper, 3 phase PWM converter analysis review was given. And from the DC analysis result, parameter design was done. From the AC model, the voltage controller and current controller was designed. The gain of controllers was calculated by analytical method.
