항공사의 유·무형, 인적서비스 품질요인이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 : 항공사 브랜드 및 브랜드태도의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Service Quality Factors on Reuse Intention)

  • Purpose - This study's aims are to examine the effects of airline service quality on brand image, brand attitude and reuse intention and the mediating roles of brand image and brand attitude in the relationship between airline service quality and reuse intention. Research design, data and methodology - A total of 500 questionnaire copies were distributed and 474 were used for the empirical study after excluding some empirical inappropriate or unusable ones. To analyze the collected data, the SPSS/WIN 22.0 statistical package was used. Results - The result of analysis showed that all the intangible, tangible and human elements of the airline service quality positively influenced on brand image and brand attitude and did not directly influence on reuse intention. However, brand image and brand attitude played mediating roles in the relationship between all the service quality elements and reuse intention. Conclusions - This means that airlines need to develop service quality, which is differentiated and provides special feelings for customers and work out improvement strategies for positive brand images and attitudes, since customers choose and reuse airlines, based on brand images and attitudes, which are perceived and formed through the experience of airline service quality and word of mouth.

패션브랜드에 활용된 캐릭터의 인지현황 및 감성 분석 (Current Awareness of Characters Used in Fashion Brands and An Analysis of the Public Perceptions of Characters)

  • This study analyzed that how well the consumer recognize and what they feel about the characters which were applied in fashion brand. Four hundreds and forty two men and women who were living in Seoul and the metropolitan area were selected for this study and SPSS 12.0 was used for the technical statistics such as Frequency, Chi-Square Test and Correlation Analysis. The result of this study were as follows : 1. The consumer didn't well recognize the name of brand and the character which were provided from the brand. 2. There were included brands 'B' 'T' 'L' 'A' in the highly ranked cognition brand. A common feeling of these brands were 'a feeling of cute' and 'a feeling of intimacy'. 3. The consumer's feelings of character were categorized into 'a feeling of lute''a feeling of sexy' 'a feeling of soft as pap' 'a feeling of humorous'.

SNS 브랜드 페이지에서 소비자-브랜드 관계 형성에 미치는 영향 요인 분석 - 준사회적 상호작용 역할을 중심으로 - (Factors affecting the development of consumer-brand relationships - The role of parasocial interaction -)

  • The rapid growth in the popularity of social media sites has meant that social media has become an important communication channel for brands. Brands create brand pages on social media to cultivate positive and strong relationships with consumers. This study seeks to enhance our understanding of how fashion brand pages in social media foster consumer-brand relationships by exploring the factors that affect the development of consumer-brand relationships. Drawing on the parasocial interaction theory, this study proposes parasocial interaction as a key factor of this process. Specifically, this study proposes four antecedents (vividness, interactivity, social presence, and focused attention) of consumers' parasocial interaction with brand pages, which further affects consumer responses in terms of affective engagement and brand loyalty. An online survey was administered with consumers who have followed and visited at least one fashion brand page via a social networking site (SNS). Structural equation modeling revealed that consumers' perceptions of vividness, interactivity, social presence, and focused attention on a fashion brand page positively affected their feelings towards parasocial interaction with the brand page, which in turn led to their affective engagement with the brand page and consequent brand loyalty. These findings suggest that consumers build relationships of varying degrees with brand pages in a similar manner to that with people, which leads to their development of a positive relationship with the brand. This study concludes with discussions and practical implications.

  • The purpose of this article is to explore the modern branding - its nature, history, originality, spirit and value to consumers. In particular, graphic design of the brand is an important component in terms of the modern European culture. The scientific novelty of the work implies the study of the contemporary design, which widely embraces the sphere of cultural and social life and can contribute to the development of progressive phenomena in society, as the design can literally be defined as a rethinking, a search for new meanings. The design itself is a versatile means of communication at the level of feelings and meanings. One of its main goals is the harmonization, and even formation of perception of the world, creation of new images or rethinking the essence of ordinary things. A Case Study of Art Marketing in Fashion Brand

  • Purpose - This study examines the effects of art marketing management of the marketing mix in fashion, focusing on the cases of the leading global fashion brands in art marketing management. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This study was implemented using the content analysis method. Criteria, including product differentiation, promotion strategies, store strategies, and social contributions, were based on previous research, brand promotional references, and critical reviews in newspapers or professional magazines for various cases of art marketing management by fashion brands. Results - To achieve product differentiation, art marketing management has borrowed images from artworks, and employed parodies and collaboration with artists; this has facilitated the pleasure derived from utilizing the artistic value of products. Promotion strategies were integrated with art performances, advertisements, and runway shows. Store strategies developed emotional feelings and a longing for brands among consumers. Reputational marketing of the social contributions made by corporations elevated the corporate brand image perceived by consumers. Conclusions - This study's findings revealed that consumers can derive emotional satisfaction through art marketing that seeks to profit effectively by stimulating consumers' emotions. From an economic perspective, a convergence of art and marketing plays an important role in profit-making and satisfying consumers' emotions.

Difference of Motive and Coping Strategy between Anger and Sadness

  • Purpose: Current study aimed at exploring the effects of ambient anger versus sadness on motive type and coping strategy type when consumers make decision. It focused on whether the negative affects of the anger and the sadness differentially induce approach versus avoidance motive at the place of making decision, and also explored the coping strategy differences between the consumers under the anger and those under the sadness, that is, which strategy is more used between problem-focused strategy and affect-focused strategy when they are under each negative affect. Research design, data and methodology: The experimental groups were divided into two types of group such as the anger-felt group and the sadness-felt group. The experiment was performed with the between-subjects design based on the anger and the sadness. Questionnaire data were collected from undergraduate students assigned to each of the anger group and the sadness group operated by the scenario method, and the data were used to verify research hypotheses by t-test. Results: - First, the anger induced the approach motive more rather than the avoidance motive in making decision. Second, to cope the negative affects, consumers under the anger used problem-focused strategy more than affect-focused strategy, while those under the sadness used affect-focused strategy more than problem-focused strategy. Therefore, this article contributes to the theory related to motive and making decision taken place to consumers under ambient negative emotions. Conclusions: Focusing on the results of this study, there could be managerial implications to brand or product marketing managers. Checking which affect consumers previously felt between anger and sadness when they are under negative affects is at issue to the brand or product marketers when they appeal their brand or product to the consumers. The marketers should build and communicate the messages about their product or brand in the respect of the points of showing problem solution or the best way to handle things to appeal the consumers under the anger. And they should develop and communicate the messages about their product or brand emphasizing the aspects of letting consumers' sad feelings out somehow or controlling their emotions to the consumers under sadness.

패션디자인 기획의 컴퓨터 그래픽 활용 - 패션 감각 분류를 중심으로 - (The Computer Graphic Utilization on the Fashion Design Planning - Focused on the Categorization of Fashion Feeling -)

  • Today is a 'high concept' era in which consumers make sensible consumption that shares a sensible bond with a brand. Therefore, it is important to analyze consumers' aesthetic awareness; namely, fashion feeling in the fashion industry. This study conducted research into a fashion design planning process according to a fashion feeling focusing on computer graphics suited to the 21st century digital trend. First, the study classified a fashion feeling with eight senses including elegance, classic, modern, mannish, sporty, avant-garde, ethnic, and romantic feelings. Second, the study made an image map, color map, material map, and style map with Adobe Photoshop CS3 by dividing a fashion planning process with a computer graphics program. Also, the study made a flat illustration with Adobe Illustrator CS3. Third, the study proposed the image map, color map, material map, style map, fashion illustration and flat illustration in the design planning process under the theme of the aforementioned eight fashion feelings.

커피 전문점의 브랜드 개성이 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Brand Individuality of Specialty Coffee Shops on Brand Loyalty)

  • 우리나라의 식문화는 크게 변화하고 있는데, 그 중에서 외식화는 가장 대표적인 것이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 변화의 요인에는 외식 기회의 확대와 소비자 욕구의 다양화, 소비의식 및 소비내용의 변화, 가처분소득의 증가, 여성의 사회진출 등의 요소와 더불어 여러 가지 관련된 산업이 발전한 데 그 원인을 찾아 볼 수 있다. 이러한 상황속에서 패스트 푸드 업계는 다소 성장이 둔화된 반면 패밀리 레스토랑과 테이크 아웃 커피 업계는 매장을 늘리는 계획을 세우고 있으며, 매출을 점차 확대시키려는 공격적인 경영을 하고 있는 추세라 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 커피 전문점 시장에서 소비자의 브랜드 개성과 만족도가 커피전문점 브랜드 신뢰, 브랜드 감정, 브랜드 일체감, 브랜드 애호도형성에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지에 대하여 살펴보려 한다. 둘째, 선호하는 커피전문점의 종류와 경험 횟수, 그리고 라이프 스타일에 따라 커피전문점에서 소비자의 브랜드 개성과 만족도가 신뢰, 감정과 브랜드 일체감, 충성도 형성에 미치는 영향이 어떻게 달라지는지에 대하여 살펴보고 이와 관련된 전략을 수립하고자 한다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 브랜드개성과 고객 만족도는 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 고객 만족도와 브랜드 신뢰의 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고객 만족도와 브랜드 감정의 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 브랜드 신뢰도와 브랜드 일체감의 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 브랜드 감정과 브랜드 일체감의 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 브랜드 일체감과 브랜드 충성도의 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 얻을 수 있는 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 브랜드 충성도를 형성시키기 위한 방안으로 브랜드 개성의 차원을 제시 하여 그 영향력을 유의함을 밝혔다는 점이다. 따라서 브랜드 충성도를 형성할 수 있는 적절한 브랜드 개성을 개발해야 하는 필요성에 대한 시사점을 제공하고 있다. 둘째, 커피 전문점을 이용하는 소비자들은 브랜드 개성의 차원과 고객 만족도의 관계를 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤으며, 브랜드 일체감고 브랜드 충성도의 영향관계는 기존의 선행 연구들의 이론들을 뒷받음을 못 하고 있다.

시퀀스 내러티브 관점에 따른 '오설록 티하우스' 공간의 제품 전시 디자인 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Display Design of Space 'O'sulloc Teahouse' from the Point of Sequence Narrative)

  • Recently, there have been increasing attempts to pursue and express feelings such as sensibilities, emotions, and impressiveness in commercial spaces. One of such methods is to apply 'storytelling' to space designs. Applicability of storytelling to a space suggests that the contents of a space can be expressed through various mediums. Portraying events and situations through a single time continuity of a story is referred to as 'narrative'. The movement of users and sequence of contents are determined by a narrative. It provides different storytelling and a sense of place to each space through various roles, such as wide association, engraving, and image formation. A narrative can lead users to engage in different perceptions and behaviors even in spaces with the same content. Thus, this study is intended to examine the impact of space marketing in line with design narratives, assuming that narratives of commercial space designs will influence the formation of brand identity. The research methods are as follows. First, the definition of narratives in space design was established by examining narrative architectures. Second, design analysis tools for commercial spaces were established from the perspective of narratives through preceding studies. Third, the design narratives of different shops under the same brand were comparatively analyzed through a case study. To carry out a case study, a commercial space of 'O'sulloc' was selected, and its brand identity was studied from the narrative standpoint. The case study involved interior designs of 7 road shops of 'O'sulloc.' Among the 7 road shops, two of them with the biggest difference in design narratives were selected, and an observation survey was done on the users as a second analysis. Through the observation survey, actual design narrative experience was analyzed in 4 steps of introduction, development, turn, and conclusion. The findings are as follows. The design method of each shop varied, and different design elements were emphasized. Among various elements, the ones that reflect the brand identity of 'O'sulloc' the best were logo, product, and shape. During the process of narratives, the characteristics of each shop and user recognition and behavior varied depending on the degree of emphasis on a particular element. It suggests that space design narratives can influence the formation of brand identity. This study provides ideal directions of developing space designs necessary for forming brand identity from the standpoint of Korean traditional culture modernization. Future studies could discuss the economic feasibility of such designs.

관계혜택과 브랜드 동일시의 역할에 관한 탐색적 연구: 브랜드 동일시의 매개역할을 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on the Effects of Relational Benefits and Brand Identity : mediating effect of brand identity)

  • 본 연구는 관계혜택과 브랜드 동일시에 관한 탐색적 연구로서 충성도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 온 관계 혜택과 브랜드 동일시를 함께 고찰하려는 데에 목적이 있다. 관계 혜택과 브랜드 동일시는 각각 충성도와 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 잘 알려져 왔으나, 그들 간의 관계를 함께 살펴본 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 한편으로는 카드산업에서 관계혜택이 중요한 전략적 요소인 동시에 최근에는 브랜드 개성과 이미지를 카드에 연결시키려는 시도를 하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 관계 혜택과 충성도와의 관계를 브랜드 동일시가 매개할 것으로 보고 그 영향을 탐색하였다. 결과적으로 관계혜택 차원, 즉 확신적 혜택과 특별대우혜택이 개인적 동일시와 사회적 동일시에 영향을 미치고, 개인적 동일시가 충성도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 확신적 혜택은 충성도에 직접적인 영향도 있는 것으로 나타났다.
