Commercial eddy current dynamometers control the torque of ratating body (poer supply machine) with the field coil current being operated as a braking force. In this paper, we studied about the relation between the field coil current and the torque load of eddy current dynamometer. By the torque measuring analysis of eddy current dynamometer, it is linear relation between the brake force measured from the torque meter (e.g. load cell, strain gage or spring balance etc.) which is installed at the case of dynamometer and the multiply of shaft rpm by the square of field coil current (N$\times$Ia2). To prove the relation, it was experimented and showed that the torque operated by the rotating body can be measured with the shaft rpm and the field coil current of eddy current dynamometer. This result shows a possibility that eddy current dynamometer can measures the torque of rotating body without special torque measuring devices.

This paper, is about the test on the operating performance of diesel engine by using of soybean oil which farmers could supply in their farm yard. The diesel engine used is a swirl-chamber type, four stroke cycle with single cylinder, air cooling and its rated horse power is 2 PS per 1300 rpm. Several results obtained are as follows; 1. The starting performance of diesel engine with soybean oil is almost the same as that with light oil. 2. The variation of engine speed according to various engine load is small when soybean oil is used compared with light oil. It is considered that soybean oil is desirable for the purpose of industerial power machine fuel. 3. The specific fuel consumption increases approximately 10 percent high in the condition of rated horse power and maximum horse power and shows less or same during the load test in low velocity, when soybean oil is used 4. Though the brake thermal efficiency in the condition of rated horse power and maximum horse power is inclined to decrease when soybean oil is used compared during the load test in low velocityt shows good inclination.

As the fuel oil cost covers from 45% to 60% of the total expenditure for fishing boat operation, the energy saving is now an urgent problem to be taken a countermeasure for engineers, manufacturers or specialists engaging in this field. Undertaking a second-hand engine of the trainging ship, the author made several reconstructions to restore its performances. By inserting foot linears of connecting rods the compression ratio was increased and by adjusting both the fuel injection timing and the cooling water outlet temperature, its thermal efficiency was improved. The results of the experimental operation were summarized as follows. 1. By raising the piston top position 0.75mm more than the value of the operating manual, the compression pressure increased 1.3 kg/$cm^2$ and the maximum pressure did 3.4 kg/$cm^2$ at 75% load. 2. At 75% load, the difference of the maximum pressure between each cylinder was decreased from 2.4 kg/$cm^2$ to 1.8 kg/$cm^2$. 3. The fuel consumption was decreased about 8 g/ps.h at 75% load, and about 5.3 g/ps.h at 85% load. 4. The brake thermal efficiency was improved about 1.5% at 75% load and 0.9% at 85% load.

This paper is concerned with the effects of temperature of diesel fuel on combustion characteristics and engine performance in a home-made precombustion diesel engine for small-sized fishing boat. The results may be summarized as follows: 1. The fuel injection timing was delayed with increase in temperature for diesel fuel, and remarkably delayed at low load. 2. The point of maximum pressure was delayed with increase in temperature for diesel fuel, the maximum pressure decreased with increase in temperature for diesel fuel but increased with increase in load. 3. The brake specific fuel comsumption (BSFC) decreased with increase in load, the optimum temperature of the heated fuel was about 15$0^{\circ}C$. 4. The smoke emissions increased with increase in load and temperature for diesel fuel.

In this paper, a blind spot of motor car, and the put case that is driven the miniature model motor system, when make practical application of the permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSM) braking and having had the ability that can all absorb regenerative power by means of electric brake which is occurred. a tow system of a miniature model motor traction system is established by 1C1M methods to control individually permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) of each motor. vector control method is applied in order to improve ride quality of motor car and the efficient use of energy. it was obtained excellent experiment results from the simulations as a function of momentum load and miniature model. Also, this study is investigated the regenerative braking power securities of permanent magnet synchronous motors, speed detection to stop electric brake at extremely very low speed and motor control method of algorithm.

A novel pneumatic artificial muscle actuator (PAM actuator), which has achieved increased popularity to provide the advantages such as high strength and high power/weight ratio, low cost, compactness, ease of maintenance, cleanliness, readily available and cheap power source, inherent safety and mobility assistance to humans performing tasks, has been regarded during the recent decades as an interesting alternative to hydraulic and electric actuators. However, some limitations still exist, such as the air compressibility and the lack of damping ability of the actuator bring the dynamic delay of the pressure response and cause the oscillatory motion. Then it is not easy to realize the performance of transient response of pneumatic artificial muscle manipulator (PAM manipulator) due to the changes in the external inertia load with high speed. In order to realize satisfactory control performance, a variable damper-MagnetoRheological Brake (MRB), is equipped to the joint of the manipulator. Superb mixture of conventional PID controller and a phase plane switching control method brings us a novel controller. This proposed controller is appropriate for a kind of plants with nonlinearity, uncertainties and disturbances. The experiments were carried out in practical PAM manipulator and the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm was demonstrated through experiments, which had proved that the stability of the manipulator can be improved greatly in a high gain control by using MRB with phase plane switching control method and without regard for the changes of external inertia loads.

Counter balance valve is used as one part of hydraulic motor brake system. The function of this valve is to protect over-run or free falling of inertia load. But occasionally the brake system with counter balance valve makes some undesirable problems such as pressure surges or vibrations. These problems may hurt system safety and driver's conformability. Nevertheless, studies on dynamic characteristics of hydraulic system including counter balance valve are very rare, so further accumulation of research results are required. In this study, for the purpose of easy estimation about dynamic characteristics of hydraulic system including counter balance valve, precise formulation describing fluid dynamics and valve dynamics under various boundary conditions were made. The equations obtained in the preceding process include some parameters that must be got experimentally. Flow coefficients of valve and choke are the most significant ones among the parameters. So these parameters are obtained experimentally in this study, and experimental equations obtained from the experimental data were used for numerical calculation. The equations were analysed by numerical integration using Runge-Kutta method, because the equations contain various nonlinear terms. From the numerical analysis, it was verified that the dynamic response of counter balance valve and pressure variation at each elements can be estimated very easily. So the analysing method developed in this study enabled very easy estimating the relation between the performances of counter balance valve and various physical parameters related to the valve. Conclusively, it is said that the results obtained in this study can be used very usefully to develop a new type counter balance valve or to apply the valve to actual hydraulic system for various industrial equipments.
In this paper, A tow system of miniature establishes each motor to individual 1C1M methods to control for a permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) is constructed. You assume that is wiring having had the ability that can all absorb regenerative power which occurred when permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSM) brake is all used to it, and to occur about agreement use scope expansion my electricity. To regenerative braking power securities of a PMSM and to stop of the bronzes my a control security, and that the electricity as you apply to vector control method and an speed sensor of controller to microprocessor, And you studied to speed, motor electricity energy control method to the algorithm and you brake a revival by regenerative braking power securities of a permanent magnet synchronous motors. It is proposed that motor control method to the algorithm you brake a revival by electricity braking power securities, you do to simulations regarding a momentum load and experiment.

This paper suggests an installation procedure of a smart skin prototype into an aircraft, flight demonstration test procedures and test results. Four communication and navigation antennas are embedded into one Conformal Load-bearing Antenna Structure(CLAS). Log periodic patch type antenna was designed as a multi-band antenna to cover four antenna frequency bands. The requirements of CLAS were verified by ground tests before aircraft installation. A CLAS speed-brake was installed into KT-1 aircraft and performances of dual antennas were verified as multi-antenna tests on the ground. Electromagnetic compatibility tests were conducted to check compatibility between the CLAS and all existing equipments. Flight demonstration tests were conducted by one sortie of flight test for one antenna. The activeness and continuity of communication and navigation signal during the flight, null area of antenna signal along the circling flight were monitored. The embedded antennas worked better than expected during four sorties of flight tests.
