Buck-Boost 형태의 전류형 PWM 인버터를 이용한 태양광 발전과 계통연계에 관한 연구 (A Study of Interface between Photovoltaic System and Utility Line using a Current-Source PWM Inverter based on Buck-boost topology)

  • 본 논문에서는 태양광 발전과 계통 연계를 위한 인터페이스 회로로서 Buck-Boost 형태에 기초한 전류형 PWM 인버터를 제안한다. 제안된 전류형 PU 인버터는 두 개의 Buck-Boost토폴로지를 조합하여 구성하였으며, 입력단의 인덕터 전류를 전류 불연속 모드로 동작시켜 별도의 입력 전류의 검출 없이도 출력단을 단위 역률화 할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 결과적으로 전체 시스템의 간략화가 가능하며, 특히, 부가적인 승압 장치 없이 태양전지 발전 전압 보다 높은 실효치의 교류 출력을 얻을 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 제안하는 인버터에 대한 동작을 이론적으로 분석하고 하드웨어 구현의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 시제품을 제작하고 실험하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 임계 도통 모드 boost PFC의 입력 필터 효과를 보상하기 위한 온-타임 변경 기법에 대하여 제안한다. 임계 도통 모드 boost PFC의 입력 필터는 총 입력전류의 위상을 진상으로 만들게 되며, 이 영향은 성능의 하락을 초래하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 boost PFC의 진상 전류를 보상하기 위한 온-타임 변경 profile을 제시하였다. 제안된 방법의 효과는 90-230Vrms 입력, 200W 출력의 prototype 의 실험을 통하여 검증되었다.

An FPGA-based Fully Digital Controller for Boost PFC Converter

  • This paper introduces a novel digital one cycle control (DOCC) boost power factor correction (PFC) converter. The proposed PFC converter realizes the FPGA-based DOCC control approach for single-phase PFC rectifiers without input voltage sensing or a complicated two-loop compensation design. It can also achieve a high power factor and the operation of low harmonic input current ingredients over universal loads in continuous conduction mode. The trailing triangle modulation adopted in this approach makes the acquisition of the average input current an easy process. The controller implementation is based on a boost topology power circuit with low speed, low-resolution A/D converters, and economical FPGA development board. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed PFC rectifier can obtain a PF value of up to 0.999 and a minimum THD of at least 1.9% using a 120W prototype.

  • In this paper, the variation of phase current and input current ripple of interleaved boost converter at DCM for fuel cell applications are theoretically analyzed. Also, based on the detailed analysis, numerical formula of input current ripple expressed in rising and falling slope magnitude, D, and $D_A$ is proposed. In order to verify proposed formulas, simulation and experimental results are compared with theoretical data and validity of proposed theory is established.

  • In this paper, a three phase boost converter that operates with unity power factor and sinusodial input currents is presented. The current control of the converter is based on the space vector strategy with fixed switching frequency and the input current tracks the reference current within one sampling time interval. Space vector strategy for current control was materialized as a digital control method by using DSP. By using this control strategy low ripples in the output voltage, low harmonics in the input current and fast dynamic responses are achieved with a small capacitance in the dc link.

  • This paper proposes the boost input type resonant power supply for driving the magnetron device of the high-capacity microwave oven. Circuit topology of the proposed power supply is the boost input type resonant converter which uses the resonance between transformer leakage inductance and resonance capacitance. Proposed power supply obtains high power factor more than 98% through continuous current mode pulse width modulation. To verify the validity of the proposed power supply, operation principle in the steady state is analyzed and experimental results are presented.

  • Switching power supply are widely used in many industrial field. Power factor improvement and harmonic reduction technique is very important in switching power supply. The power factor correction (PFC) circuit using boost converter used in input of power source is studied in this paper. It is analyzed distortional situations and harmonics of input currents that presented at continuous conduction mode(CCM) of boost PFC circuit. It is done simulations of harmonics distribution according to load variation by using PSPICE and MATLAB. From the actual experiment of boost PFC circuit the validity of the analysis is confirmed.

  • In this paper, optimal design of interleaved boost converters is studied in order to design low ripple, size, loss and high performance converters for fuel cell applications. Also, the process of optimal design of interleaved boost converter has been performed. Input current ripple, output voltage ripple, losses and capacity of electrical components are theoretically analyzed and informative simulation and experimental results are provided.

  • This paper describes a boost converter to be operated at the boundary of continuous current mode(CCM) and discontinuous current mode(DCM) for power factor correction and low cost. A control method to be utilized in simulation is a average-current mode method in case of operating in CCM. The simulation results show that Better is the CCM converter then the DCM converter in harmonic content and input current waveform. And A Double-boost converter is superior to single-boost converter for input-current harmonic.

  • In this paper a switching control circuit for shaping the line current and reducing the total harmonics distortion in the boost converter is presented. To solve the problems of performance degradation due to pulse waveform in the input current, the boost converter in which the harmonic distortion in the input current is reduced using a 3th harmonic-injected PWM is proposed. Finally, Simulation and experimental results of boost converter with 5[kHz] switching frequency are presented and correction of power factor and reduction of total harmonic distortion was established.
