본 연구의 목적은 최근 독서 매체로 급부상하고 있는 전자책을 중심으로 어린이 이용자들의 접근 및 탐색 모형을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 문헌정보학 분야의 정보탐색행태에 관한 문헌 연구를 고찰하여 기초 모형안을 설계하였다. 다음으로 서울 경기 지역의 5개 도서관 이용자인 남녀 초등학생 30명을 대상으로 면담 및 관찰 조사를 수행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 제시된 어린이 이용자의 전자책 접근 및 탐색 모형안을 수정하여 맥락내의 어린이 이용자, 실행기제, 중재변수, 정보추구행위 및 전략, 정보원 선택, 이용으로 이어지는 순환형 모형으로 제안하였다.

Recently, electronic-book (e-book) market is growing rapidly due to the evolution of information technology and e-book standard EPUB. Users can search e-book on-line and download easily to their e-book readers such as amazon's kindle or smartphones. On the other hand, there is lack of e-book contents for the reading disabled people because of high cost of making e-book accessibility for the reading disabled people. If we can translate EPUB specified e-book contents to the alternative e-book contents suitable for the reading disabled people, then there are many advantages to acquire various types and large volumes of e-book contents for the reading disabled people. This paper suggests a new electronic publishing ecosystem for the reading disabled people using e-book translation method. It also suggests a promotion strategy of e-book market for the reading disabled people.

This study was conducted to search the origin of Nong Jung Shin Pyun ( 農政新編 ), a book of agricultural manual. This book was edited by An Jong-Soo who translated the agricultural manual of Japan and China, both were writted in Japanese. This book might be used not only as text book for agricultural workshop but as reference book for peasants.

Objectives: We propose a method to model and represent formulas in Korean medicine information systems. Methods: All the formulas were codified in the form of graphs representing the relationship between a formula and its constituents. To identify a unique formula in a graph, the formula's name, the book in which the formula was written, the book where the formula was extracted, and the page number in the extracted book are used. All the formulas and the relationship between formulas are modelled as an ontology based on graphs. Results: A formula search system was constructed using our ontology, which can represent formula information efficiently by grouping and filtering of formulas. Our formula model was also constructed as a mobile application. Conclusions: The information in our formula search system depends on our ontology. However, our model or our search scenarios could be extended according to formula information.

2006년부터 Facebook, Twitter, Blog와 같은 소셜 네트워크 서비스 사용자가 급격하게 늘어나고 있다. 더욱이 스마트폰을 이용해 편리하게 도서를 검색하고 여러 대학이 소장한 자료를 공유해 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 소셜 도서 검색시스템에 대한 요구도 급증하고 잇다. 하지만 현재까지 국내에서 소셜 도서 검색 서비스에 알맞은 보안서비스를 제공하지 못하고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 소셜 도서 검색 서비스를 위한 안전한 사용자 인증시스템과 부분 Filter 기법을 적용해 스마트폰 환경에서 응답성을 높일 수 있는 새로운 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안시스템은 소셜 도서 검색 서비스를 부정적으로 사용할 수 없도록 사용자 인증 서비스를 제공할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 스마트폰에서도 소셜 도서 검색 서비스를 사용하는데 효과적인 응답시간을 제공할 수 있음을 보인다.

Most of online bookstores are providing a user with the bibliographic book information rather than the concrete information such as thematic words and atmosphere. Especially, thematic words help a user to understand books and cast a wide net. In this paper, we propose an efficient extraction method of thematic words from book text by applying the compound noun and noun phrase synthetic method. The compound nouns represent the characteristics of a book in more detail than single nouns. The proposed method extracts the thematic word from book text by recognizing two types of noun phrases, such as a single noun and a compound noun combined with single nouns. The recognized single nouns, compound nouns, and noun phrases are calculated through TF-IDF weights and extracted as main words. In addition, this paper suggests a method to calculate the frequency of subject, object, and other roles separately, not just the sum of the frequencies of all nouns in the TF-IDF calculation method. Experiments is carried out in the field of economic management, and thematic word extraction verification is conducted through survey and book search. Thus, 9 out of the 10 experimental results used in this study indicate that the thematic word extracted by the proposed method is more effective in understanding the content. Also, it is confirmed that the thematic word extracted by the proposed method has a better book search result.

본 연구는 대학도서관에서의 도서검색결과 제공되는 OPAC2.0 서비스에 대한 만족도 중요도를 조사하였다. 대학도서관에서 도서검색결과 제공되는 OPAC2.0 서비스, 서비스의 만족도 중요도, 만족도와 중요도 차이 그리고 학년과 만족도 분석을 실시하였다. 조사 및 분석결과, 가장 많이 제공하고 있는 OPAC2.0 서비스는 '포털사이트 연계' 서비스이다. 전반적인 OPAC2.0 서비스 만족도는 평균 2.07로 '매우 불만족'으로 나타났으며 가장 중요하게 인식하고 있는 서비스는 '서비스 항목'이다. 만족도와 중요도 차이는 전반적으로 중요도에 비해 불만족스러운 결과를 보여 주고 있다. 학년과 전반적 만족도 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 분석결과를 토대로 향후 도서검색결과 OPAC2.0 서비스 개선을 위해서는 각 서비스에 대한 도서관 홍보 및 이용방법 소개, 다양한 서비스 제공 및 질적 개선, 도서관에서만 제공해 줄 수 있는 정보 제공을 통한 꾸준한 이용자 관리가 필요함을 제안하였다.

본 연구는 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 일반 검색시스템과 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템을 구축하고 두 실험시스템의 사용성을 비교 평가하여 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템의 유용성을 밝히고자 하였다. 사용성은 전체적으로 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 일반 검색시스템 보다온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템이 더 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 국내 도서관들이 인터넷서점, 검색엔진, 웹포털 등에서 공개한 도서검색용 Open API를 통해 제공되는 풍부한 콘텐트를 온라인목록에서 공유하고 활용하면 서지데이터의 확충, 주제접근과 주제검색 능력의 확대, 메타 검색서비스의 확장, 소장도서의 이용가능성 증대, 목록비용의 절감 등에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study is to build a general principle for the automatic book-classification which can be put to use in library operation, and to present a methodology of the automatic classification for the library. Since the enumerative classification scheme which exist as manual systems cannot be a n.0, pplied to the automation of classification, the principles of Colon Classification by S.R. Ranganathan is brought in and studied. The result of the study can be summarized as follows: (1) Automatic book-classification can be performed by the principles of faceted classification. (2) This study presents a general and an a n.0, pplication principles for the automatic book-classification. (3) File design for the automatic book-classification of a general classification is different from that of special classification, (4) The methodology is to classify the literature by inputting the title into a terminal. In addition, the expected Value from the Automatic Book-classification is as follows: (1) The prompt and accurate process of classification is possible. (2) Though a book is classified in any library it can have the same classification number. (3) The user can retrieve the classification code of a book for which he or she wants to search through the dialogue with the computer. (4) Since the concept coordination method is employed, even the representing of a multi-subject concept is made simple. (5) By performing automatic book-classification, the automation of library operation can be completed.

이 연구는 우리나라 지자체가 운영하는 통합도서관들을 대상으로 통합검색 서비스의 기능적 특성을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석대상은 서울시의 25개 지자체에서 운영하는 통합도서관들이며, 분석항목은 통합검색과 관련된 12가지 영역의 서비스 기능들로 선택하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통합도서관은 자치구 내 공공도서관과 작은도서관의 연합체이며, 통합검색 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 제공되는 통합검색 서비스의 기능, 서지정보의 항목과 패싯의 유형이 다양하지 못하다. 둘째, 검색결과의 레코드는 타이틀 형식이 아니라, 대부분 아이템 형식이었다. 셋째, 도서정보를 보완하는 보강정보는 책에 대한 소개와 연관정보, 책과 관련된 키워드, 대출관련 정보 등으로 구성된다. 넷째, 통합검색이 디스커버리형 검색보다, 통합목록DB를 기반으로 하는 통합OPAC의 형태를 나타내고 있다. 자치구 내 공공도서관이나 작은도서관들에 분산되어 있는 소장목록DB들에 대한 통합검색을 제공하는데 집중하고 있다. 다섯째, 대부분의 통합도서관은 유사한 서비스 형태를 제공한다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 국내 공공도서관들이 디스커버리형 통합검색 서비스를 기대할 수 있는 개선방안을 제안하였다.
