2006년부터 Facebook, Twitter, Blog와 같은 소셜 네트워크 서비스 사용자가 급격하게 늘어나고 있다. 더욱이 스마트폰을 이용해 편리하게 도서를 검색하고 여러 대학이 소장한 자료를 공유해 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 소셜 도서 검색시스템에 대한 요구도 급증하고 잇다. 하지만 현재까지 국내에서 소셜 도서 검색 서비스에 알맞은 보안서비스를 제공하지 못하고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 소셜 도서 검색 서비스를 위한 안전한 사용자 인증시스템과 부분 Filter 기법을 적용해 스마트폰 환경에서 응답성을 높일 수 있는 새로운 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안시스템은 소셜 도서 검색 서비스를 부정적으로 사용할 수 없도록 사용자 인증 서비스를 제공할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 스마트폰에서도 소셜 도서 검색 서비스를 사용하는데 효과적인 응답시간을 제공할 수 있음을 보인다.

The commercialization of an active matrix e-reader display using E Ink microencapsulated electrophoretic (MEP) ink marked a big step towards comfortable reading over an extended period of time in an electronic book, as the high resolution display, jointly realized by Philips, E Ink and Toppan, has a true paper-like look and feel. Alternative electrophoretic material systems are being developed by SiPix and Bridgestone and progress has been made in the past two years. In this paper, electrophoretic material systems are briefly reviewed, after which the perspectives and challenges of electrophoretic displays are addressed and methods for generating gray tones are presented and discussed.

이 연구는 개인의 독서생활 및 도서관 활성화에 북페스티벌이 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 북페스티벌에 참여 경험이 있는 참여자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 분석결과 북페스티벌의 참여는 개인의 독서생활 및 도서관 인식, 도서관 이용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 대한 심층 분석 결과 참여자의 북페스티벌 인식은 개인의 독서생활 및 도서관 인식, 도서관 이용에 있어 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있으나, 그 영향력(2.1~4.7%)은 미미한 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 북페스티벌 참여만족도는 '도서 및 전시판매' (30.1%) 참여만족은 개인의 독서생활에 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 체험부스 참여만족은 도서관 인식(22.4%), 도서관 이용(26.4%)에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 전반적인 참여만족 역시 참여자의 독서생활(24.5%), 도서관 인식(20.1%), 도서관 이용(27.5%)에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This paper will review the state of the latest development of AMLCD manufacturing facilities for large Substrate and discuss the future technologies. The trend of the display size enlargement of Note book PC has hauled the enlargement of the mother glass substrate in past 10 years. The enlargement of a substrate size has brought about the productivity improvement of the TFT panel with process innovation as yet. Will this trend be continuing hereafter too? The issues of the processing and facilities related with the large square substrate and mask step reduction will be overviewed and the future processing and facilities will be discussed.

기존의 종이책은 다양한 스마트 모바일기기의 활발한 보급으로 인해 전용 단말기와 뷰어 앱(Veiwer App)을 통해 전자책(e-book)으로 서비스되고 있다. 최근에는 텍스트(Text) 중심의 전자책과 달리, 텍스트와 함께 동영상, 다양한 상호작용 요소를 중심으로 하는 앱북(App book)의 형태로 진화되고 있다. 아이패드(iPad)용 앱스토어(App Store)에서는 도서 관련 앱이 28%를 차지할 정도로 앱북 시장이 빠르게 성장함에도 불구하고, 여러 가지 전자책 전용 단말기, 뷰어 앱 UI(User Interface) 관련 연구들에 비해 앱북의 콘텐츠 및 UI에 대한 연구가 상대적으로 부족한 상황이다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 앱북 콘텐츠의 표시 방법에 따라 3개의 유형으로 분류하고, 대표 앱북을 선정하여, 콘텐츠의 객체 표시방법에 대해 분석하고, 상호작용 요소들을 분석하였다. 이를 통해, 객체 별 상호작용 요소를 고려한 전자잡지형 앱북의 콘텐츠 표시 방법 프레임워크를 설계하였다.

본 논문에서는 테이블탑 디스플레이을 기반으로한 RealBook에 대하여 제안한다. 전자책은 일반 종이책이 아닌 컴퓨터를 이용한 가상의 책으로써 사용자가 독서를 하는 도중 동영상 자료를 보거나 배경음악을 들을 수 있게 해주는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠이다. 또한, 테이블탑 디스플레이 플랫폼에서 사용하므로 손의 직접적인 터치를 이용하여 전자책과 사용자 간의 좀 더 다양한 상호작용이 가능하도록 한다. 테이블탑 디스플레이에서는 손가락의 터치 점을 이용하여 다양한 제스처를 정의할 수 있어서, 사용자가 기존 입력 장치에 비해 보다 효과적으로 전자책을 체험하는 것을 돕는다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 방법은 기존 전자책과 차별화된 상호작용 디지털와 아날로그를 결함한 책(Real book)으로써 전자책에 대한 새로운 방향을 제시할 수 있고, 미디어 아트와 스토리텔링 기법을 접목시켜 사용자에게 정보 전달뿐만 아니라 예술과 오락 등을 제공할 수 있다. 앞으로 컴퓨터와 사용자간의 상호작용을 원활하게 할 수 있어 다양한 어플리케이션 개발에 활용될 수 있고 향후 미래 지향적 시스템이 될 것이다.

Accepting the necessity for maintaining the objectives of the existing circulation system, the computer-based system could be designed by the system analyst and librarians to gain a variety of improvements in the maintenance, accessibility of circulation records and more meaningful statistical records. If the terminal can be operated on-line, then this circulation data is transmitted directly to the computer, where it may update to the circulation file immediately or alternatively be kept in direct access file for updating in batch mode. on-line system in the circulation operations is "data-collection system" and "Bar-coded label system" Bar-coded label system is simple, quick, and error-free input of data. Attached to CRT terminal is a "light pen" which is hand held and will read a bar-coded label as the pen is passed over the labels (one affixed to the book itself, other carried on the borrower cards). Instantaneously the data concerning transaction is stored in the central mini-computer. It is useful, economical for us to co-operate many libraries in Korea and design borrower's ID code, book no., classification code in the Bar-coded label system by the members of the computer center and the library staff at every stage. As for book loan, the borrowers ID code, book number and classification code are scanned by the bar-code scanner or light pen and the computer decides whether to loan and store the data. The visual display unit shows the present status of a borrowers borrowing and decides whether borrower can borrow.

In this paper, we describe the current status and issues of the oxide thin-film transistors (OTFTs), which attract much attention as an emerging new backplane technology replacing conventional silicon-based TFTs technologies. First, the unique benefits of OTFTs will be presented as a backplane for large-sized AMOLED including note-book PC, second TV and HD-TV. And then, the state-of-the-art transistor performance and uniformity characteristics of OTFTs will be highlighted. The obtained a-IGZO TFTs exhibited the field-effect mobility of $18\;cm^2/Vs$, threshold voltage of 1.8 V, on/off ratio of $10^9$, and subthreshold gate swing of 0.28 V/decade. In addition, the world largest-sized 12.1-inch WXGA active-matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display is demonstrated using indium-gallium-zinc oxide (IGZO) TFTs.

전자책 리더의 사용자 인터페이스는 매우 다양하여 사용성 문제를 야기하는 주요 요인이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 일반적으로 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 6개의 스마트폰용 전자책 리더를 대상으로 기능 설정 옵션과 터치스크린 동작 사용에 관한 사용자 선호도를 조사 분석하여 이를 기반으로 전자책 리더의 사용성을 높일 수 있는 대안을 도출하고자 한다. 기능 설정 옵션에 대한 분석 결과, 배경색 설정은 배경색 아이콘에 사용되는 글자 색상을 함께 명시하고 지원되는 배경색의 종류는 8개가 적절하며, 화면밝기 설정은 화면밝기 설정 바를 이용하여 조정하고, 화면밝기 자동 옵션 기능을 함께 제공하며, 글자크기 조정은 +/- 버턴을 이용하고, 글자모양은 '기본값' 옵션과 함께 10개 정도를 지원하는 것이 이상적인 것으로 나타났다. 페이지 넘김 효과는 효과 없음, 페이지 넘김, 슬라이드, 스크롤, 사라지는 효과 옵션을 제공하고, 페이지 이동 방법은 스크롤바에 의한 이동을 기본으로 하고, 페이지 번호 입력에 의한 이동, 목차 및 책갈피 목록에 의한 페이지 이동의 기능은 반드시 제공하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 나타났다. 전자책 리더 터치스크린 동작 기능에 관한 분석 결과 전자책 리더의 화면 구성은 좌, 우, 중간으로 구분하고 화면 좌측을 짧게 한번 터치하면 페이지의 이전 페이지로, 우측을 터치하면 다음 페이지로 이동하고, 화면의 중간을 터치하면 기능 메뉴가 표시되도록 구성하는 것이 이상적일 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 전자책 리더 사용자 인터 페이스 설계 시에 사용성 향상을 위한 지침을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Near / Miss, Charles Bernstein's poetry collection, is replete with poems of distinctive styles and pluralistic forms in his idiosyncratic and artistic cosmos. With poetic antics, queerness, sarcasm, irony, and humor, the book showcases the motif of loss, chaos and trauma in postmodern America and the world. The multiplicity and multi-dimensional $M{\ddot{o}}bius$ effect in Near / Miss echo earlier Bernstein's poems, as well as poems by ancient and contemporary poets, with visual artists and musicians, and rabbis and Jewish philosophers. I argue that Near / Miss offers an apotheosis of echopoetics, which has been launched in his previous book Pitch of Poetry. Poems in the book reveal the dark and thick "pitch," namely the queer, the uncanny, the invisible, the disabled, the dispossessed, and the silenced poetic Other and make it explicit. The estrangement and alienation of $clich{\acute{e}}$ through diverse malaprops, mondegreens, non-sequiturs and fragmentations in Near / Miss aim at deconstructing the fixation of language so as to display the poetic Other. The motif of "nothingness" in echopoetics significantly multiplies its meanings. Nothingness mainly refers to the loss of origin, the defiance of tyranny, and the sublimity of the universe and the poetic Other. Melding his personal loss and misfortune, the current political discontent and the postmodern chaos in America and the world, nothingness in echopoetics resonates with American literary tradition and Zen with a healing and transforming power.
