The conventional factor of safety as used in geotechnical engineering does not reflect the degree of uncertainty of the relevant parameters. Then in the geotechnical engineering, there have been efforts to reflect the uncertainties of the geotechnical properties through probabilistic analysis. In this study, a practical method for probabilistic analysis using the Hasofer-Lind reliability index is introduced. The method is based on the perspective of an ellipsoid that just touches the failure surface in the original space of the variables. The method is applied to prefabricated vertical drains (PVD) and compared with the result of Monte Carlo Simulation method.

전동기 전원 개폐를 주목적으로 하는 전자개폐기는 빈번하고 불규칙한 개폐동작에 의해 발생되는 Arc 에너지에 대해 전기적으로 내구성능을 확보하는 것이 중요하다. 또한, 전기적 내구 성능은 수명과 품질을 결정하는 요인으로서 선진업체에서는 내구성능을 향상시키려 연구개발 활동에 집중하고 있다. 이러한 전기적 내구 성능을 향상, 평가하기 위해서는 장기간에 걸친 시험 기간과 시험규격에서 요구하는 조건을 만족시키는 시험 회로와 설비구성이 필수적이다. 여기서는 전기적 내구 성능에 대한 이해와 시험규격을 통한 시험회로 설계 및 설비제작에 대해 설명하고 시험결과를 분석하고자 한다.

Daily average concentrations of fine particulates have been measured simultaneously in Seoul and Asan area by using PM minivolTM portable air sampler(Air Metrics, U.S.A) from September 2001 to August 2002. The sampler were analyzed by ICP-OES(inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry, optima 3000DV, Perkin Elmor) to determine the fine particulate concentrations of metallic elements(As, Mn. Ni, Fe, Cr, Cu, Cd, Pb, Zn, Si). The concentration of PM$\sub$2.5/ showed a high trend in the Seoul area. Zn showed a similar distribution ratio for the fine particle in both Seoul and Asan. Mn and Fe, Cr, Cd are highly correlated in the Seoul and Asan area(P<0.05).

We synthesized new poly(p -phenylene vinylene) (PPV) derivatives including different portions of crosslink that could interconnect the backbone of PPV for application in optoelectronic devices such as lightemitting-diodes, photovoltaic cells, and lasers. The fluorescence and electroluminescence properties of PPV including crosslink were discussed with respect of their structure and length of crosslink unit.

The KEPCO is developing the load forecasting system using land-use simulation method and distribution planning system. A distribution planning needs the data of present loads, forecasted loads and substations. distribution lines information. By the distribution planning system, the distribution line designer determines the substations and feeder lines plan. This paper presents the method of formulation process for the long term load forecasting and optimal distribution planning, and describes the case study of long term distribution planning of Suwon-city according to the newly applied method.

본 연구는 대기오염의 가장 주범인 이동형 차량이 배출하는 배기가스를 USN기술을 활용하여 실시간으로 확인하고 이 정보를 지속적으로 축적함으로써 차량의 오염물질배출상태, 차량의 노후상태 뿐만 아니라 차량의 효율적인 노선의 확보가 가능하도록 측정하고 모니터링이 가능하도록 시스템을 개발하여 일부를 현장 적용함으로써 향후 이동형 차량에 대한 대기오염 방지의 감소를 위한 정책 마련과 그 활용 가능성을 검증하였다.

1,3,5-Tricyano-2,4,6-tris[2-(thiophen-2-yl)vinyl]benzene derivatives have been synthesized as a new type of octupolar nonlinear optical molecules and their linear and nonlinear optical properties were determined. The λmax values increa sed with the conjugation length and as the conjugation bridge was changed from phenyl to thienyl group. For phenyl and thiophene derivatives, the b value increased with conjugation length. In contrast, the $\beta$ values of the thiophene derivatives were much smaller than the corresponding phenyl derivatives.

The purpose of this study is to suggest reasonable medical insurance fees for orthopaedic manual therapy. This medical insurance fees include of direct and indirect costs. The reasonable medical insurance fees of orthopaedic manual therapy are as follows. 1. Spinal manual therapy fee is 10.173 won. 2. Upper and lower extremity manual therapy fee is 10,173 won. 3. Hand and foot manual therapy fee is 6.782 won. 4. Hand and visceral manual therapy fee is 6.782 won.

USN기반 응용 시스템에서 사용되는 센서 미들웨어는 식품, 의약, 제조 등 다양한 분야에서 주로 모니터링을 통하여 물품의 질을 좋게 유지시키는 역할을 한다. 이 시스템의 사용자들은 사용 목적에 따라 조건을 설정하여 가공된 데이터를 전송 받는데 알람 메시지와 같은 응급상황은 빠르게 보고받기를 원한다. 응급상황에 대해서 빠르게 보고하기 위해서는 우선순위를 부여하는 방법이 있다. 이 방법은 다른 장치로부터 수집되는 센싱 정보에 대한 처리는 지연되는 문제가 발생한다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 센서 미들웨어에서 응급상황을 빠르게 처리하기 위한 동적 우선순위 결정기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 응급상황에 대해서 동일사건인지 아닌지 판단하여 최초 1회만 보고하고, 동일사건에 대해서는 우선순위를 동적으로 낮춰 문제를 해결하였다.

RFID 미들웨어의 평가를 위한 방법으로서, 테스트 데이터셋을 이용한 시뮬레이션은 일반적으로 사용되는 평가 방법이다. 태그 식별자에 따라 순차생성된 가상 데이터셋이나 랜덤 생성된 데이터셋의 경우 미들웨어의 단순 처리량을 평가하기에는 유용하나 미들웨어의 정확성이나 실행 가능성를 평가하기에는 한계가 있다. 테스트 데이터셋은 실제 리더에서 생성된 데이터셋과 매우 유사하여야 함에도 불구하고, 테스트 데이터셋의 품질 기준이 정의되어 있지 않음에 따라 테스트 데이터셋이 얼마만큼 실제 데이터셋과 유사한 지를 평가하기가 어려운 문제가 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 RFID 미들웨어의 평가에 사용되는 테스트 데이터셋의 품질을 평가하기 위한 품질 지표를 제안한다. 제안하는 품질 지표는 실제 RFID 리더에 태그가 통과할 때 생성되는 데이터 셋을 기반으로 하여 정의하였으며, RFID 무선 인식의 고유의 특성, 즉 중복성과 불확실성을 수치화해서 표현하는 특징이 있다. 또한 제안한 품질 지표를 실제 RFID 리더를 통해 생성한 데이터셋에 적용하여 비교 검토함으로써 품질 지표의 유용성을 입증한다.
