18~24세 한국과 몽골 성인여성 체형비교(제2보) (A Comparison of Body Types Between Korean and Mongolian Women within the 18 to 24 Age Group(PartII))

  • The purpose of this study is to classify the body types based on the side view. The subjects are 404 Korean and Mongolian women within the 18 to 24 age group. From the results of comparing 28 items of indirect photometric measurements, 15 items were shown to have significant differences. Mongolian women were larger in values for 13 items than were Korean women except two items, which are back projecting point height and abdominal projecting point height. The silhouette of Korean women's front body looks completely different from Mongolian women's. Especially, Mongolian women's fore-breast part is much thicker than that of Korean women. The result of analysing the indirect photometric measurement of 4 types which were previously classified by the direct measurements and index values is as follows; Type 1 is normal type, type 2 is lordosis type, type 3 is swayback type, and finally type 4 is flatback type. The groups of each of the 4 types are further divided into Korean and Mongolian women. Judging from their body types based on the side view, it seems clear that significant differences exist between Korean and Mongolian women's side body shapes in the thickness of their breast part.

  • 공대공미사일의 경우 초음속 하에서 고 기동성을 얻기 위하여 고받음각 능력이 요구되어진다. 옆 미끄러짐이 없는 대칭형 세장형 몸체의 경우라도 비대칭 와류는 생성된다. 이러한 비대칭 와류는 불필요한 측력 및 요잉모멘트를 발생시키고 이는 곧 방향 안전성을 저하시킨다. 본 연구는 전산해석을 통하여 초음속유동하에서 세장형 몸체 주변에 발생되는 비대칭와류 모사를 실시하였으며 비대칭 와류의 모사를 위해 선두부에 Bump를 장착하였다. 전산해석 결과 세장형 몸체 주변에 발생하는 비대칭와류를 모사 할 수 있었다.

유방 절제술 환자의 퇴원후 신체상과 생활적응에 관한 연구 (A study on the adjustment of daily life ana body image of the mastectomy patients)

  • The purpose of this study was to identfy the relationship between the body image adjustment of daily life. 58 subjects who had undergone radical mastectomy or modified radical mastectomy from 1979 to April 1984 at Seoul National University Hospital were selected as a sample and used for a final analysis. Finding of this study were as follows; 1) The relationship between the body image and the adjustment of daily life were significant differences. The body image is more positive, the adjustment of daily life is bet-ter. However, the cause-effect relationship was not found in this study. (p<0.05) 2) There were no significant differences in the body image between the right side mastectomy and left side mastectomy, between the radical mastectomy and modified radical mastectomy between those who had occupation and those who did not have occupation, and between the level of education. 3) There was no significant correlation between the body image and age, between the body image and elapsed time after surgery.

Peroneal Muscle and Biceps Femoris Muscle Activation During Eversion With and Without Plantarflexion in Sitting and Side-lying Postures

  • Background: Lateral instability of the ankle is one of the most common causes of musculoskeletal ankle injuries. The peroneus longus (PL) and peroneus brevis (PB) contribute to ankle stability. In early rehabilitation, isometric exercises have been selected for improvement of ankle stability. To effectively train the peroneal muscles during eversion, it is important to consider ankle and body posture. Objects: This study aimed to compare activation of the PL, PB, and biceps femoris (BF) muscles during eversion in different ankle postures (neutral [N], plantarflexed [PF]) and body postures (sitting and side-lying). Methods: Thirty healthy individuals with no history of lateral ankle sprains within the last 6 months were included in the study. Maximal isometric strength of eversion and muscle activation were measured simultaneously. Muscle activation at submaximal eversion was divided by the highest value obtained from maximal isometric eversion among the four postures (percent maximal voluntary isometric contraction [%MVIC]). To examine the differences in muscle activation depending on posture, a 2 × 2 repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted. Results: There were significant interaction effects of ankle and body postures on PL muscle activation and evertor strength (p < 0.05). The PL muscle activation showed a significantly greater difference in the side-lying and PF conditions than in the sitting and N conditions (p < 0.05). Evertor strength was greater in the N compared to the PF condition regardless of body posture (p < 0.05). In the case of PB and BF muscle activation, only the main effects of ankle and body posture were observed (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Among the four postures, the side-lying-PF posture produced the highest muscle activation. The side-lying-PF posture may be preferred for effective peroneal muscle exercises, even when considering the BF muscle.

CRASHWORTHINESS ASSESSMENT OF SIDE IMPACT OF AN AUTO-BODY WITH 60TRIP STEEL FOR SIDE MEMBERS

  • This paper is concerned with the energy absorption efficiency of auto-body side structures for the conventional steel and 60TRIP high strength steel. In order to evaluate the energy absorption efficiency, the dynamic crash analysis is carried out with the regulation of US-SINCAP. The analysis adopts the Johnson-Cook model for the dynamic material properties, which have been obtained from dynamic material tests. For the sake of the dynamic material properties, the analysis has been accurately peformed for the crashworthiness assesment. The analysis result provides deformed shapes, amounts of penetration and accelerations at several important points during crash. The result confirms that 60TRIP greatly improves the crashworthiness of the side members without sacrificing the weight and thus can be used for the light-weight design of an auto-body.

Stability analysis of roof-filling body system in gob-side entry retained

  • The roof-filling body system stability plays a key role in gob-side entry retained (GER). Taking the GER of the 1103 belt transportation roadway in Heilong Coal Mine as engineering background, stability analysis of roof-filling body system was conducted based on the cusp catastrophe theory. Theoretical results showed that the current design parameters of 1103 belt transportation roadway could ensure the roof-filling body system stable during the resistance-increasing support stage of the filling body and the stable support stage of the filling body. Moreover, a verified global numerical model in FLAC3D was established to analyze the failure characteristics including surrounding rock deformation, stress distribution, and plastic zone. Numerical simulation indicated that the width-height ratio of the filling body had a great influence on the stability of the roof-filling body system. When the width-height ratio was greater than 0.62, with the decrease of the width-height ratio, the peak stress of the filling body gradually decreased; when the width-height ratio was greater than 0.92, as the distance to the roadway increased, the roof stress increased and then decreased. The theoretical analysis and numerical simulation findings in this study provide a new research method to analyze the stability of the roof-filling body system in GER.

20대 여성의 목밑둘레 형태 유형화 및 특징 (Classification and Characteristics of Neck-base Shape of Korean Females in Their Twenties)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify neck shapes of women by classifying their neck-base types according to the shapes of neck and analyzing the characteristics of each type. The subjects were 58 women $18\~24$ years of age. Their body were measured directly and indirectly by using camera, 3-dimensional body scanner. The anthropometric measurements were composed of 17 items. They were measured during the months of October in 2001 The results and discussions of this study are as follows. There were three kinds of neck-base type. The first type was slant from the back neck-base to the side neck-base, and slant from the side neck-base to the front neck-base. The second type was gentle from the back neck-base to the side neck-base, and gentle from the side nect-base to the front neck-base. finally, the third type was gentle from the back neck-base to the side neck-base, and slant from the side neck-base to the front neck-base. Hopefully, understanding the shapes of neck and characteristics of each neck-base type will help to suggest computer assisted neck-base's landmark identification algorithms and measurement extraction methods from three-dimensional body scan data.

열전에너지 수확 의류를 위한 인체표면 온도분포의 기초적 고찰 (A study on skin temperature distribution of the human body as fundamental data for developing heat energy harvesting clothing)

  • 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 기술 및 휴대용 전자기기의 발전은 지속적으로 전원을 공급하기 위한 새로운 에너지원을 요구하고 있으며, 이러한 점에서 의류를 통한 인체 에너지 수확 시스템의 연구가 요청되고 있다. 인체에너지를 수확하는 방식의 하나인 열전은 인체와 주위 환경간의 온도차이로부터 에너지를 수확하는 방식으로, 본 연구에서 의복을 통한 열전에너지 수확의 기초자료를 확보하기 위하여 인체표면 온도의 분포를 실증적으로 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 체표 구간을 설정하고 구간별 온도분포를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 상체의 체표온도가 하체에 비해 높았고 특히 심장과 가깝고 혈류량이 많은 몸통 부위의 체표온도가 높았다. 뒷목과 등, 허리의 후면 부위 체표온도가 앞면에 비해 높았으며, 팔 부위의 경우 위쪽 부위의 체표온도가 아래쪽 부위보다 높고 팔 후면이 정면과 측면에 비해 온도가 낮게 나타났다. 체표 구간별 평균 온도와 환경온 간의 차이값이 가장 높아 열전 수확 기능구조 설치에 가장 적합한 위치는 뒷목 부위로 나타났고, 등과 허리 부위, 측면 어깨부위, 가슴 부위, 정면 위팔 부위, 배 부위가 그 뒤를 이었다. 이러한 인체표면 온도분포 결과를 토대로, 본 연구에서는 열에너지 수확의류 개발을 위한 기본 지침을 도출하였다.

고받음각 동체에 발생하는 측력의 실험적 재현 및 수치적 분석 (EXPERIMENTAL REPRODUCTION AND NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE SIDE FORCE ON AN OGIVE FOREBODY AT A HIGH ANGLE OF ATTACK)

  • Behavior of the side force generated at high angles of attack by two ogive-cylinder bodies of revolution with nose fineness ratio of 2.3 (B1) and 3.5 (B2) and the effect of a strip placed close the nose tip of each body (B1S and B2S) are analyzed through the wind tunnel test at ReD=200,000 and a=42~60 deg. The side force generated by B1 is increased by placing a strip. The side force generated by B2 is in the starboard direction and its magnitude is higher than that of the B1S. The effect of the strips with various dimensions placed on B2 is investigated. It is found that the 4-layer strip placed on the starboard reversed the direction of the side force into port direction. It is confirmed by numerical simulations that the strip promotes the flow separation and increases the average pressure on the side where it is placed and consequently produces the side force in the corresponding direction.

선수파 중 슬로싱을 고려한 병렬배치된 두 부유체의 거동 특성에 관한 실험 연구 (Experimental Study of Motion Behavior of Side-by-Side Moored Two Floating Bodies Including Sloshing in Head Sea)

  • The motions and drift forces of side-by-side moored FSRU and LNGC including the sloshing effect, were studied using experiments. The FSRU and LNGC contained LNG cargo tanks and the LNG sloshing could affect the motions and drift forces of the structures due to its coupling with floating body motion. The effect of coupling can vary with the LNG filling level, and the effect of the filling level was investigated. The coupling effect was stronger at lower filling level. It was confirmed that longitudinal sloshing influenced the surge and surge mean drift force in head sea. In addition, gap flow affected the sway and mean drift forces. Sloshing attenuated the sway and yaw excited by gap flow in side-by-side configuration.
