This paper discusses about modeling method to simulate a nonlinear behavior like sliding or rocking of two stacked body system under earthquake condition. A double body system design can be an option to reduce seismic response of a component in comparison to a single body system for free standing structures. Therefore, according to the priority of components, the structure is to be designed by proper ratio of partition in their height for improvement of seismic capability and structural integrity. Nonlinear modeling and analysis using simple rigid body and dynamic system has been performed to check the trend in such cases. As a result, one of the two bodies can be chosen to reduce the seismic response from energy absorption of the other one by appropriate application of friction ratios not only in slip-slip condition but in slip-rock condition.

In present study, the principal stress condition needed to conduct cubical large-scale triaxial test which can reflect three dimensional stress condition (or plain strain condition) in a dam was investigated by performing model test and numerical analysis and the principal stress ratio varying with the height of CFRD was examined. Also, the principal stress ratio in CFRD body was investigated from the monitoring results of horizontal and vertical earth pressure gages, installed in the center zone and lower part of transition zone of the dam body, respectively, in order to consider the principal stress condition in the large-scale triaxial test to model the behavior of CFRD. The result of the study indicated that the principal stress ratio decreased gradually from the lower to the upper part in the dam body for its center axis and was about 0.5 and 0.2 in the lower and upper part, respectively.
Purpose: This study was performed to investigate the effect of induced ametropia on static posture for body balance. Methods: Twenty subjects (10 males, 10 females) of average age $23.4{pm}2.70$ years were participated and ametropia(binocular myopia; BM, simple myopic anisometropia; SMA, binocular hyperopia; BH, and simple hyperopic anisometropia; SHA) were induced with ${pm}0.50D$, ${\pm}1.00D$, ${\pm}1.50D$, ${\pm}2.00D$, ${\pm}3.00D$, ${\pm}4.00D$, ${\pm}5.00D$, respectively. General stability (ST), weight distribution index (WDI), and fall risk index (FI) were measured using TETRAX the biofeedback systems. Each index of the body balance was evaluated for 32 seconds in each ametropic condition and those value was compared with the value in fully corrected condition. Results: The ST showed significant increase from +0.50 D under condition of BM, from +1.00 D under condition of SMA, from -1.00 D under condition of BH, and from -1.50 D under condition of SHA compared with under condition of fully corrected condition, respectively. The FI showed significant increases from +4.00 D under condition of BM, from -1.00 D under condition of BH, and from -1.50 D under condition of SHA. The WDI show no change in all ametropia condition. Conclusions: Whatever ametropia is, uncorrected refractive error could reduce the general stability of body balance and increase the falling risk.
In this article, we find a counter example which shows that the well-known necessary condition about the boundary regularity of a stable strictly convex body is not a sufficient condition.
This study is to embody automatic inspection system of motor body panel by visual system. since it is inefficient to examine the adhesion condition of components with the naked eye, picture processing algorithm is presented to replace the existing manual inspection process with an automatic inspection process. The developed automatic inspection system presents the examination method of the adhesion condition of components with a ixed camera, which leads to an increase of the productivity and a reduction of manufacturing cost.

In this paper, a health care system is implemented which can identify the parameter for moving body after exercising based on home network. This system has catched a signal for physical condition of body data using data acquisition mechanism such as a data acquisition module, a data signal processing module and a feedback module. The composition has a functions of displacement point for a BMI and WDI, that the basic parameter measure to base on the heart rate, temperature. There are checked physical condition of body exercising to compounded a physical condition of sensory organ. There are to keep the lookout for the body condition that to estimate a health care with a physical organ through a exercise.

Recently, the automotive technology has developed with electronics and information technology as convergence technology while vehicles had been regarded as machines. Moreover, vehicles are becoming more intelligent and safer devices, assembly of advanced technologies by customers' demand. Even though all of installations of vehicle have attracted as diverting devices, it cause drivers' mistakes like delay of response on traffic condition. Here, we proposed the Field Operational Test (FOT) environment which could be used as driving and road conditions collector(Vehicle motion, Traffic condition, Driver input, Driver state, etc.) for researches about Driver Friendly Intelligent System(SCC, LDWS, etc.), Human Vehicle Interface(Driving Workload, etc.) and Economic Drive Model. Furthermore driving patten and fuel consumption patten of drivers were analyzed by measured data and direction of future research was suggested.
Dent resistance is determined by both shape characteristics, i.e., local radius of curvature and sheet thickness, and material properties such as yield strength. This work presents results of a study on the effect of work hardening and bake hardening on dent resistance of aluminum alloy sheet parts by considering the forming condition and baking temperature.
This thesis intend to help the eastern medical doctor to understand body condition from interpretation of perspirations(汗出) in daily time cycle. The conclusion is followed. 1. In most Eastern Medical classic and clinic literatures, the time of fever and perspirations are described as a result of disease's position at human body. Following this description, in daytime the perspirations must come from the Gi phase and night time the perspirations must come from the blood phase. Because in daytime the skin pores are opening and the defensive Gi is going out to the superficial portion of the body. In night time the skin pores are shutting and the defensive Gi is going in to the five solid organs. So a sweat in daytime comes out from the Gi phase and superficial portion of the body. And in night time comes out from the blood phase and five solid organs. But in recent real clinic cases, in daytime, there are so many perspirations from the five solid organs. Comparatively, the perspirations from the superficial portion of body are very little. And in same daytime perspirations, when the heat pathogens mixed with moist, the symptom revelation time delay to the afternoon. Therefore it can be concluded that the time of perspirations are combination of disease's Gi or blood phase and characteristics of pathogens. The position of disease at human body cannot simply judge the symptom revelation time. 2. The exchange of climate following time cycle of a day effect to the condition of human body. At same time it activates or not activates the pathogens in human body. So we can consider the kinds and characteristics of pathogens by distinguishing the symptom revelation time. In general differentiation of syndromes[辨證] pathogen's kinds and location are generally judged. By understanding the characteristics of pathogen, doctor can devise more correct and delicate prescription.
The recent tendency in the automobile industries is toward light weighting vehicle body to improve the problems by environmental pollution as well as improving fuel cost. The effective way to reduce the weight of vehicle body seems to be application of new materials for body structure and such trend is remarkable. Among the various materials for vehicle body, stainless steel sheet (for example, 301L and 304L), TRIP steel and cold rolled steel sheets are under the interests. However, in order to guarantee reliability of new material and to establish the long life design criteria of body structure, it is important and require condition to assess spot weldability of them and fatigue strength of spot welded lap joints which were fabricated under optimized spot welding condition. And, recently, a new issue in the design of the spot welded structure is to predict economically fatigue design criterion without additional fatigue tests. In general, for fatigue design of the spot-welded thin sheet structure, additional fatigue tests according to the welding condition, material, joint type, and fatigue loading condition are generally required. This indicates that much cost and time for it should be consumed. Therefore, in this paper, the maximum stresses at nugget edge of spot weld were calculated through nonlinear finite element analysis first. And next, obtained the ${\Delta}P-N_{f}$ relation through the actual fatigue tests on spot welded lap joints of similar and dissimilar high strength steel sheets. And then, the ${\Delta}P-N_{f}$ relation was rearranged in the ${\Delta}{\sigma}-N_{f}$ relation. From this ${\Delta}{\sigma}-N_{f}$ relation, developed the fatigue design technology for spot welded lap joints of them welded using the optimized welding conditions.
