A Study of Qi Theory in Daesoon Thought : centered on Shangjeguan and Cheonjiogongsalon (대순사상에서의 기론(氣論) 연구 - 상제관과 천지공사론을 중심으로 -)

  • The Qi(氣) concept in the Orient is the important concept which forms the world-view and thinking structure of the Oriental. The idea of Qi unfolds two ways. The first is the cosmogony that is the theory explaining the creation and change of universe through the change of Qi. The second is the preservation theory that think human body is full of Qi and we can be the immortal by raising Qi inside human body. The canon of Daesoonjinrihoe(大巡眞理會), Jeon-gyung(典經) also says about Qi many times especially in the doctrines about the object of belief and Cheonjigongsalon(天地公事論). This paper is willing to systematize the discussion of Qi in Daesoon(大巡) thought through researching Sangjeguan (上帝觀) and Cheonjigongsalon. The object of religious faith in Daesoonjinrihoe is Gucheon(九天)-yeungwon(應元)-noisung(雷聲)-bohwa(普化)-cheonjon(天尊)-gangsung(姜聖)-sangje(上帝) and Won(元) concept in the explanation of this divinity is deeply related to Wonqi(元氣) thought of the Oriental traditional Qi idea. And the theory of Qi(Qilon, 氣論) in Sangjeguan is related to electricity and the idea that the supreme God governs all things by electricity is the very original interpretation only found in Daesoon thought. The Qilon in Cheonjigongsalon is based on the Qilon of traditional thought that sees Qi is the element of all things and all thing are formed by the change of Qi. And the unique feature of the Qilon is saying that the supreme God, Cheungsan(甑山) operates Qi of universe and arouses the change of Qi. That is to say, God Cheungsan saved the world and all living beings by eliminating and giving and changing and moving and gathering and combining Qi. The characteristics of Qilon in Cheonjigongsalon is that the transcendental existence having human body has the control of the change of Qi in the universe. In conclusion, Qilon of Dasesoon thought tells that Gucheon-Sangje Chengsan governs all things by electricity and he fixed the old world and opened the new world like paradise by conducting the change of Qi.

Development of robot calibration method based on 3D laser scanning system for Off-Line Programming (오프라인 프로그래밍을 위한 3차원 레이저 스캐닝 시스템 기반의 로봇 캘리브레이션 방법 개발)

  • Off-line programming and robot calibration through simulation are essential when setting up a robot in a robot automation production line. In this study, we developed a new robot calibration method to match the CAD data of the production line with the measurement data on the site using 3D scanner. The proposed method calibrates the robot using 3D point cloud data through Iterative Closest Point algorithm. Registration is performed in three steps. First, vertices connected by three planes are extracted from CAD data as feature points for registration. Three planes are reconstructed from the scan point data located around the extracted feature points to generate corresponding feature points. Finally, the transformation matrix is calculated by minimizing the distance between the feature points extracted through the ICP algorithm. As a result of applying the software to the automobile welding robot installation, the proposed method can calibrate the required accuracy to within 1.5mm and effectively shorten the set-up time, which took 5 hours per robot unit, to within 40 minutes. By using the developed system, it is possible to shorten the OLP working time of the car body assembly line, shorten the precision teaching time of the robot, improve the quality of the produced product and minimize the defect rate.

A New Calibration of 3D Point Cloud using 3D Skeleton (3D 스켈레톤을 이용한 3D 포인트 클라우드의 캘리브레이션)

  • This paper proposes a new technique for calibrating a multi-view RGB-D camera using a 3D (dimensional) skeleton. In order to calibrate a multi-view camera, consistent feature points are required. In addition, it is necessary to acquire accurate feature points in order to obtain a high-accuracy calibration result. We use the human skeleton as a feature point to calibrate a multi-view camera. The human skeleton can be easily obtained using state-of-the-art pose estimation algorithms. We propose an RGB-D-based calibration algorithm that uses the joint coordinates of the 3D skeleton obtained through the posture estimation algorithm as a feature point. Since the human body information captured by the multi-view camera may be incomplete, the skeleton predicted based on the image information acquired through it may be incomplete. After efficiently integrating a large number of incomplete skeletons into one skeleton, multi-view cameras can be calibrated by using the integrated skeleton to obtain a camera transformation matrix. In order to increase the accuracy of the calibration, multiple skeletons are used for optimization through temporal iterations. We demonstrate through experiments that a multi-view camera can be calibrated using a large number of incomplete skeletons.

  • This study (research) has been done on the job, job-satisfaction and job dedication of body guards from many sectors in Korea. This research is focused on the relationship of job, job-satisfaction and job-dedication in diverse aspects in order to build up a detailed theory, As a result, teams of body guard can enhance their systematic efficiency through the theory. Therefore in this chapter, it will re-examine the result of this research and discuss about the theoretical and practical aspect of the result. This study(research) will be the outset(start) for the organizational behavior study of the body guards in Korea. Especially, this research tries to distinguish the duty aspect and the general feature of the body guards, satisfaction along with the level of dedication. Therefore it will give the persons concerning the bodyguards many theoretical and practical points to consider. But there is a limitation as crossing research that in this research we didn't research in compensation for all internal body guards and accomplishment of research has achieved in a short-time. Though it will be necessary to accomplish in henceforth research, if at all possible, in compensation for all body guards and much more diverse security service classification, also for a long time extended vertical research.

Depth Image Poselets via Body Part-based Pose and Gesture Recognition (신체 부분 포즈를 이용한 깊이 영상 포즈렛과 제스처 인식)

  • In this paper we propose the depth-poselets using body-part-poses and also propose the method to recognize the gesture. Since the gestures are composed of sequential poses, in order to recognize a gesture, it should emphasize to obtain the time series pose. Because of distortion and high degree of freedom, it is difficult to recognize pose correctly. So, in this paper we used partial pose for obtaining a feature of the pose correctly without full-body-pose. In this paper, we define the 16 gestures, a depth image using a learning image was generated based on the defined gestures. The depth poselets that were proposed in this paper consists of principal three-dimensional coordinates of the depth image and its depth image of the body part. In the training process after receiving the input defined gesture by using a depth camera in order to train the gesture, the depth poselets were generated by obtaining 3D joint coordinates. And part-gesture HMM were constructed using the depth poselets. In the testing process after receiving the input test image by using a depth camera in order to test, it extracts foreground and extracts the body part of the input image by comparing depth poselets. And we check part gestures for recognizing gesture by using result of applying HMM. We can recognize the gestures efficiently by using HMM, and the recognition rates could be confirmed about 89%.

Hybrid RANS/LES simulations of a bluff-body flow

  • A hybrid RANS/LES approach, based on the Limited Numerical Scales concept, is applied to the numerical simulation of the flow around a square cylinder. The key feature of this approach is a blending between two eddy-viscosities, one given by the $k-{\varepsilon}$ RANS model and the other by the Smagorinsky LES closure. A mixed finite-element/finite-volume formulation is used for the numerical discretization on unstructured grids. The results obtained with the hybrid approach are compared with those given by RANS and LES simulations for three different grid resolutions; comparisons with experimental data and numerical results in the literature are also provided. It is shown that, if the grid resolution is adequate for LES, the hybrid model recovers the LES accuracy. For coarser grid resolutions, the blending criterion appears to be effective to improve the accuracy of the results with respect to both LES and RANS simulations.

  • Shark skin has functionalities such as self-cleaning and antifouling; it also exhibits excellent drag reduction owing to a hierarchical structure of microgrooves and nanometer-long chain mucus drag reduction interfaces around the shark body. In this study, the wettability of a shark skin surface and its replicas are evaluated. First, a shark skin template is taken from a real shark. Then, shark skin replicas are produced directly from a shark skin template, using a micromolding technique. The quantitative replication precision of the shark skin replicas is evaluated by comparing the geometry of the shark skin template to the replica using 2D surface profiles. Contact angles at the solid-air-water interfaces are evaluated for the shark skin template and its replicas under two conditions: with and without hydrophobic coating. The results show that the microriblets on shark skin improve the hydrophobic feature and play a critical role in self-cleaning.

  • Typical biomechanical system such as human body and mammals possess abundant muscles which are more than required for motion generation of such systems. We have shown that the excess number of muscles play important roles in spring-like impedance modulation. redundant kinematic structure, which is another feature of biomechanical systems, allows modulations of inertia and damping properties of such systems. In this work, we propose a frequency modulation algorithm which combines the spring-like impedance with inertia impedance. also, a load distribution method for frequency modulation is also introduced. The frequency modulation represents a simulataneous control of force and kinematic redundancies, which has not been addressed in the literature.

  • Daily oral administration to Sprague Dawly rats for 4 weeks of DWP-301, at doses of 0, 500, 1000, 2000 mg/kg presented following results; 1) No animals died and there were no significant differences in general signs, body weight, food consumption, urinalysis haematological, biochemical, gross pathological and histopathological examination between control and treated rats. 2) Water consumption, pH-, protein- urobilinogen-, ketone-values in urine were significantly increased in the treated male and female rats. It is supposed that these differences in animals are a consistent feature of repeated overdosage with test suspensions. The results indicate that the non toxic dose of test compounds in rats is over 2000 mg/kg in this test system.

A Process Planning System for Machining of Dies for Auto-Body Production-Operation Planning and NC Code Post-Processing

  • This paper presents a process and operation planning system and an NC code post-processor for effective machining of press dies for production of cars. Based on the machining feature, major parts of press dies are categorized into 15 groups and a standard process plan is defined for each group. The standard process plan consists of a series of processes where a process is defined as a group of operations that can be done with one setup. Details such as cutting tools, cutting conditions, and tool paths are decided at the operation planning stage. At the final stage of process and operation planning, the NC code post-processor adjusts feedrates along the tool path to reduce machining time while maintaining the quality. The adjustment rule is selected based on the machining load estimated by virtual machining.
