Face Emotion Recognition using ResNet with Identity-CBAM (Identity-CBAM ResNet 기반 얼굴 감정 식별 모듈)

  • 인공지능 시대에 들어서면서 개인 맞춤형 환경을 제공하기 위하여 사람의 감정을 인식하고 교감하는 기술이 많이 발전되고 있다. 사람의 감정을 인식하는 방법으로는 얼굴, 음성, 신체 동작, 생체 신호 등이 있지만 이 중 가장 직관적이면서도 쉽게 접할 수 있는 것은 표정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 정확도 높은 얼굴 감정 식별을 위해서 Convolution Block Attention Module(CBAM)의 각 Gate와 Residual Block, Skip Connection을 이용한 Identity- CBAM Module을 제안한다. CBAM의 각 Gate와 Residual Block을 이용하여 각각의 표정에 대한 핵심 특징 정보들을 강조하여 Context 한 모델로 변화시켜주는 효과를 가지게 하였으며 Skip-Connection을 이용하여 기울기 소실 및 폭발에 강인하게 해주는 모듈을 제안한다. AI-HUB의 한국인 감정 인식을 위한 복합 영상 데이터 세트를 이용하여 총 6개의 클래스로 구분하였으며, F1-Score, Accuracy 기준으로 Identity-CBAM 모듈을 적용하였을 때 Vanilla ResNet50, ResNet101 대비 F1-Score 0.4~2.7%, Accuracy 0.18~2.03%의 성능 향상을 달성하였다. 또한, Guided Backpropagation과 Guided GradCam을 통해 시각화하였을 때 중요 특징점들을 더 세밀하게 표현하는 것을 확인하였다. 결과적으로 이미지 내 표정 분류 Task에서 Vanilla ResNet50, ResNet101을 사용하는 것보다 Identity-CBAM Module을 함께 사용하는 것이 더 적합함을 입증하였다.

  • The location information of the people or mover is essential for supporting various smart mobility services in railway stations which are mostly underground. For this purpose, a smart braille block is proposed to identify the location of the mover of the people. In this paper, the frequency characteristics of each material of the upper and lower parts of the braille block are analyzed to examine the appropriate materials for railway history. In addition, the guidelines for actual manufacturing were derived by analyzing the separation distance between two RF sensors in the smart braille block. As a result of analysis through the characteristic analysis in this paper, after selecting the material suitable for the construction site when the smart braille block is applied, the performance change of the RF system, especially the antenna that greatly influences the RF performance, must be reviewed in advance. It seems to have to be applied after checking through.

Deployment Planning of Blocks from Storage Yards Using a Tabu Search Algorithm (타부서치 알고리즘을 이용한 적치장의 블록 반출계획)

  • At a shipyard, the efficient handling of blocks is one of the most important factors in the shipbuilding process. We consider the problem of deployment planning of blocks from storage yards. As some information of block arrangement should be considered to handle the problem, we adopt the block arrangement based on the coordinates and sizes of each block at a storage yard. Deployment planning for a block involves deciding upon its transportation route from the storage yard and searching for blocks that would obstruct its transportation along this route. A tabu search algorithm for deploying several blocks is developed to minimize the number of obstructive blocks deployed together from the storage yards at a shipyard. The results of computational experiments show that the developed algorithm is very useful in the deployment planning of multiple blocks from the storage yards.

  • This paper proposes a simulation method of train control system to increase railroad transportation capacity in the Seoul Subway. Comparing with the conventional fixed block system, a new train operation method of "moving block system" shows a more capability of same railroad. A graphic simulation program is developed for application of moving block system to Seoul subway train control system. The result of the simulation program shows a shorten headway i.e. a more dense operation of trains and a higher efficiency of railroad with the suggested moving block system.

  • Block Transporter should be optimized transportation path, otherwise it brings about lot of logistics costs and production delays. Block Transporter location must be checked in real time for optimization of transportation path. In this paper we implement real-time location determination using mobile RFID for location of Block Transporter. Mobile RFID reader mounted on a smartphone is recognize Mobile RFID Tag attached in the Transporter. Then, Smartphone is store information of every Transporter name and load and etc. Finally, Smartphone is transmit information(Mobile RFID Tag information, Transporter information, location determination information used AP and GPS) to the server. As a result, We can optimize or modify transportation path of Block Transporter in real-time using information transmitted to the server.

  • This Study was investigated in main breakage types of 50 interlocking block pavements in apartment houses and evaluated on their performance. According to performance evaluation, maintenance control index of 9 aged interlocking block pavements ranged 7.9 to 8.9. These values meant that the condition of interlocking block pavements were still good. Therefore, it was concluded that the 10-year cycle of the block replacement recommended by Ministry of Construction & Transportation is necessary to reappraise. To objectively evaluate the performance of interlocking block pavements, this study presented the criteria of maintenance control by combining two maintenance control standards suggested by Ministry of Construction & Transportation and the Japan Interlocking Block Pavement Engineering Association. Also, this study suggested that the domestic standard is necessary to include durability standards and quality standards of joint filling materials and bedding sand layer for increasing expectation life and reducing maintenance costs of interlocking block pavements.

The Analysis of New Video Conference System Based Secure Authentication

  • The paper describes the implementation of the video conferencing system using public key infrastructure which is used for user authentication and media stream encryption. Using public key infrastructure, we are able to reinforce the authentication for conference participant and block several malicious hacking while protecting conference control information. The paper shows the implementation of the transportation layer secure protocol in conformity with Korea public key authentication algorithm standard and symmetric key encryption algorithm (RC2, SEED, DES and 3DES) for media stream encryption. The feature of the paper is transportation layer secure protocol that is implemented for protection of information on a user authentication and video conference and the media streaming encryption algorithm also can be envisioned with another block encryption algorithm. The key for media streaming encryption may be safely distributed by the transportation layer secure protocol.

A Case Study on Assembly Block Operations Management at Shipyard (조선 조립블록 운영관리에 관한 사례연구)

  • How to efficiently manage assembly blocks at shipyard has been a hot management issue in the shipbuilding Industry, because it has significantly influenced on the productivity of shipbuilding process. This paper introduces the real practice of assembly block operations management in Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) and the Ship Assembly Block Operations Optimization (SABOO) project that h3s been launched in HHI as an academy-and-industry collaborative project, aimed to diagnose problems, propose possible solutions, and develop a prototype system in order to search ways of improving the assembly block operations management. Through the field interviews, observations, and benchmarking studies, the SABOO project diagnosed the most rudimental and urgent problem and proposed possible solutions. In addition, the SABOO project developed the prototype system that embodied the visual function of monitoring the shipyard on a real-time and the Interactive block assignment function that utilized the assembly block assignment algorithm developed by the project. As a whole, the SABOO project tested the possibility and gained an insight in extending the functions of block transportation/stockyard management system.

Safety Evaluation of 40m Combined Modular Bridge Super-Structures Based on Transportation Lifting Methods (40m 조합모듈교량 상부구조 이송에 따른 안전성 검토)

  • The purpose of this study was the analytical safety evaluation on the super-structure of precast modular bridge using standardized modular members and robotic construction during the transportation routing and lifting conditions. In order to evaluate the safety performance of the bridge system, 3-D full scale Finite Element (FE) of 40 m standardized modular block was developed in ABAQUS, followed by the analytical study to classify the structural system according to steel girder structures: 1) modular bridge block lifting method including the steel girder system; 2) modular bridge block lifting method without the steel girder system. The results from the analytical study revealed that the maximum stress of each modular member was within the maximum allowable stresses during lifting condition. However, the stress concentration at the connected area was more critical in comparison to the behavior of 40 m combined modular blocks during lifting time
