The purpose of this study was to analyze the meaning and formative features of the black color reflected on the fetish fashion. This study was proceeded mainly by analyzing with references and plates of magazine. The results of the study were as follows ; First, the sexual liberation and revolution have certainly led to a reassessment of sexual deviations, which changed the meaning of fetishism that has been only regarded as sexual perversion, so that it symbolied a new sexual perception and identification. As the result, black in fetish fashion was symbolized a new fetishism\`s definition which refused to distinguish male from female, and also reflected the meaning to express the second sex that wanted to express themselves. Second, the formative features of black color in fetish fashion have appeared tightness and bareness in form, and in material, glancing materials changed by the effect of light, and elasticity materials-leather, rubber, PVC, and laycra. By these features, black fetish fashion has drawn a higher attention on human body than the dress itself as a symbol about the psychology of erotic sensations and sexual images of the self appearing in black color.

The purpose of this study was to investgate dyeing, moradnting properties and colorfastness activities of silk, polyamide, acetate treated black soybean extracts. The color of extract by buffer solution (pH=1) red, but the higher pH of extracted black soybean solution the paler of color strength. Black soybean extracts was approved anthocyanin of 3type(Delphinidin3-glucoside, Cyanidin 3-glucoside, Petunidin 3-glucoside) by chemiclal analysis. This anthocynin, in acid condition, is oxinium structure (red color, soluable) but, in alkali condition quinoid structure(dark brown, in soluable). The optimum dyeing condition of black soybean anthocynin was 10min at $30^{\circ}C$, pH -1. Colorfastness to washing and light showed generally low but crocking fastness was excellent.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the traditional color sentiment on the contemporary clothing color by studying the pictures of street fashion of Dalian in China, in view of the clothing color of women in their 20-30 years of age having highest purchasing power, along with traditional Chinese color. The clothing color is various in frequency depending on the items in street fashion. Due to the seasonal impact of summer, the most frequent item was one-piece dress with the Multi of various color patterns, followed by White, Black, PB, R and B category. In the top color, the White was most prevalent color due to the seasonal factor, followed by Black, Grey, Multi, R, Y, RP category. Achromatic color is more dominant with the ratio of 7:3, comparing with its counterpart, which consists of R and Y category of V, B, P, VP tone. In the bottom color, Dp tone of PB shows most high frequency, followed by Black. This results illustrate that Chinese women prefer blue jeans and to be looked as slimmer by using of the dark colors. In the accessories, colors of bags and shoes show different results. The bag colors show the high frequency of Dk tone, YR category, and the chromatic colors are little bit dominant than achromatic ones with the ratio of 5.3:4.7. On the contrary, the shoes colors show the highest frequency in Black, the achromatic colors are more dominant than chromatic ones with the ratio of 6.6:3.4. These results somewhat diverge from the international color trend. Color trend in Dalian street fashion in which the high frequency of V tone is observed through all the colors of the items followed by P, VP, Lgr tone in sequence. In the light of Chinese traditional color preference, this result denotes that the traditional color preferences of red, yellow are still affecting the contemporary color choices of clothing in Chinese women. The high incidence of PB category in the bottom and one-piece dress does not seem to have its origin form traditional Chinese color sentiment.

Recently, as there has been growing demand for aesthetic quality in structural materials, the development of excellent color cement concrete having good coloration properties has become a requirement. This study is designed to analyze the basic physical properties of mortar and the properties of keeping the coloration under an ultraviolet ray accelerated weathering test environment according to changes in the mixing ratio between carbon black and iron oxide used as colorants. The test results show that the use of carbon black and iron oxide reduces the initial flow by 6.3~17.2 % and the air content by 3.5~31.5 % but increases the unit volume weight by 3.4~5.5 %, compared to ordinary Portland cement (OPC). In addition, the study shows that the addition of iron oxide increases the self drying shrinkage. So, caution needs to be taken on the workability of the concrete. The brightness value L^⁎ represented by black showed the most excellent black colour when carbon black 3 % and iron oxide 5 % are added. According to UV accelerated weatherproof test, the brightness value L^⁎ was found to increase in all experiment specimens by 4.28~11.97 %, and the color change by UV was found to be higher for the case where carbon black colorant was not used. Therefore, in terms of color revelation characteristics, the case using carbon black 3 % and iron oxide 5 % was found to show the best black color.

Hwajeon, pan-fried rice cake, containing glutinous black rice flour at different proportions (0, 5, 10, 20, 30, or 50% of glutinous rice flour) was cooked to investigate the cooking effect on anthocyanins, color, and texture. Two anthocyanins, cyanidin-3-glucoside and peonidin-3-glucoside, were detected in both hwajeon dough and pan-fried hwajeon. The hwajeon retained up to 60% of anthocyanins in the dough after pan-frying. The lightness (L) of dough and hwajeon decreased with an increase in the amount of black rice flour rice flour. Interestingly, the lightness (L) of hwajeon was significantly lower than the counterpart dough, indicating that the color of hwajeon resulted not only from anthocyanins, but also from the browning reaction occurring during pan-frying. The redness (a) of hwajeon initially increased by adding glutinous black rice flour, and decreased at higher than 10% of black rice flour. In comparison with the control hwajeon (0% black rice flour), the black rice-added hwajeon showed lower hardness, whereas it had higher springiness and cohesiveness, resulting in no significant differences in gumminess and chewiness among the hwajeon. These results indicate that hwajeon enriched with glutinous black rice flour can be developed as a functional food containing health-promoting anthocyanins.

I observed the meaning and the symbolic charaeters about the color and style of clothes appearing at "GER GA JAP BOK GO" written by Kyu Soo Park. The black color of Hyun Eui as a ceremonial dress of man symbolizes Heaven and Virtue. The yellow color of Whang Sang as a ceremonial dress of man symbolizes the Earth and the Impartiality. The blue or black decoration line over white ground of Sim Eui as ordinary dress of man symbolizes also Filial Piety. In woman ordinary upper garment, So Eui, black texture edging with blue line implies the mutual symmetricity with her husband's. Besides, white color texture lining So Eui symbolical to a Devine Nature and Homage implies also the deep concealment of feminine body. The black ground color of child dress "Chi Po Eui" symbolizes Naivety, and the red silk color of it's decoration line, belt and tress ornaments implies the praise of the Virtue & Learning and also "Expel the Evil" of our traditional national characteristics. As described above the meaning and symbolic characters about the color and style of clothes appearing at "GER GA JAP BOK GO" has a very Chinese disposition, but it's author Kyu Soo Park modified somewhat to be in harmony with the real social situation of our Country during that latest stage of Yi Dynasty, because he was one of the prominent pragmatist at that time.

More than 1,000 chickens of Korean native Yeonsan Ogolgye (Natural Monument No. 256) were used in this study in order to investigate their various external characteristics. The aims of this study were to define the Ogolgye chicken as a breed, and to provide basal data necessary for the genetic improvement of this breed. The investigated items are as follows : color of feather and toe; presense or absence of shank feather; the number of toes: color of shank and comb; the growth rates of shank, comb and feathers in various feather tracts; and finally, the livability. Data and informations were presented in tabular form in table 1 through 12. In summary, the various external traits of the Korean native Ogolgye breed can be characterized as follows. It has normal feather than silkic one as in the western type, with black color per-dominant. The frquency of white feather color is very low. The color of toes is devided into two categories; black toes in black plumage lines, and white toes in white plumage lines. Both seres have single combs with black color. The shank is gray- black and featherless. The breed has normally four toes. The eye color is black.

In order to produce black disperse dye which has high heat resistance and depth color for polyester(PET), an orange disperse dye was designed and synthesized with pyridine based derivatives to get high heat resistance. Disperse blue dye adopts heterocycles structure for high molar extinction coefficient and long wavelength absorption. Synthesized disperse dye is micronized to an particle size of $0.7{\mu}m$. The mixing condition for black color using commercial disperse violet 93 is blue dye 30%, red dye 21%, and orange dye 21%, respectively. Dyed PET fabric with synthesized dye has quiet good color fastness to sublimation(grade 3-4) and has excellent rubbing, washing and light fastness grade 4-5.

In this study, We endeavored to revaluate the effects of different types of clothing and colors on clothing microclimate in the subjects wearing sports wear at sunlight environment. This study was conducted 4 different kinds (cotton 100%) of clothing ensembles, that was W-1(long trousers and shirt of white color), B-1 (long trousers and shirt of black color), W-s (short trousers and shirt white color), B-s (short trousers and shirt black color) and were done in a climate chamber under sunlight ambient temperature ($33.67{\pm}1.8^{\circ}C$, $46.0{\pm}8.5%RH$) by three males subject who are in good healthy. Start a 20-min rest period, 20-min bouts of exercise and final 20-min recovery period were performed. The kinetic load was given for 20 minutes under the condition of 6.0 km/hr walking speed on the treadmill. The results is as followed In case of same type of garment, temperature within clothing which is based on difference of color the white ensemble keeps higher temperature than black one. According to distribution chart of temperature within clothing in case of chest, white one shows higher temperature than black one, in case of back, black one shows higher temperature than white one. Difference of heart rate was so clear and sequence is W-1>B-1>W-s>B-s, so we could find same tendency with temperature within clothing.

Black has been the most important color of all since the ancient times when the recognition of black roused, as well as during most of the eras; and can especially be said as the main color which controlled the chronicles of fashion. The purpose of the study was to broaden the application of black color image make-up by inquiring into make-up design elemental characteristics of lines and textures, after classifying magazine illustrations and advertisement make-up images using black. The photos which made effective use of black among fashion illustrations, magazine advertisements after 2001 were classified in to each type, and make-up expression method and characteristics according to design element of each image type was analyzed. The conclusion of such study was the following. 'Erotic image' showed contrast effect between eye make-up and lip color by using pale tone or red color. 'Mannish image' emphasized form and texture of eyebrow by restraining the colors of eyelids with natural brown tone eye make-up; 'Modern image' expressed vague eyebrow to bring the sensation of the direction of eye shadow on eyelids and eye line as well as slant line to relief. 'Kitsch image' showed free and light imagery by creating unique hair style with various colors; expressing lips mostly with colors similar to skin tone or by restraining colors on lips. 'Decadence image' showed messy and foul sensation with unstandardized eye make-up and matt skin of shimmer, glossy and pale tone, also with black colored lips; 'Retro image' expressed reinterpretation of images from 1920${\sim}$1960 to contemporary styles.
