신교통 바이모달트램 시스템 도입수준 분석 연구 (Analytic Study of the Level of Introducing Bimodal TRAM System)

  • 바이모달트램은 접근성과 정시성의 측면에서 철도와 버스의 이점을 모두 갖춘 신 대중교통 시스템이다. '저탄소 녹색성장'의 국가 전략에 부합하는 바이모달트램은, 앞으로 대중교통으로써 중요한 역할을 담당할 것으로 기대된다. 대중교통은 인구통계학적 특성, 이용자의 행태, 재정상태 등 여러 조건의 영향을 받기 때문에, 본 연구에서는 바이모달트램의 도입여부를 결정하기 위해 고려되어야 할 지표들을 정의하고, 도시별 도입수준을 결정하기 위한 BSI(Bimodal Score for Introduction)를 산정하도록 한다. 본 연구는 신 대중교통 시스템으로써 바이모달트램의 도입을 추진하려는 도시의 의사결정에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

  • Bimodal trams are run by a guidance system and combine the functions of buses and trains. The trams have been highlighted as an alternative means of public transportation due to their accessibility, mobility, and arrival accuracy. While bimodal trams can be implemented on existing roads or by road expansion, with the narrow road conditions in Korea, studies must be performed in advance on suitable lane and platform locations and the exclusivity of lane use. This paper proposes plans for the location of bimodal tram lanes and platforms, whether in the median or at the road’s edge. In addition, methods of efficient bimodal tram operation are discussed, including the implementation of exclusive tram lanes.

  • This paper evaluated the effectiveness for the case of it introduced the bimodal tram for the capital area adaptability of the bimodal tram in the limelight as the new transportation means of the next generation for capital area major transportation corridor. The KTDB with 1,142 zones was utilized for the analysis and the major transportation axis around the main road in which the traffic is high. The analysis index selected around the transportation index in which it can show up by the bimodal tram application and the decrease rate of the road traffic density, the travel time change, the carbon emission quantity change, and etc. was chosen as a result. It was analyzed as the axis in which the bimodal tram adaptability effect that it is high with the section this relative including the major analyzed result west AnSan IC~ Songsan Bridge, the SuWon terminal ~ SaDang station, the UiJungBu terminal ~ DoBongSan station, and etc. can be appeared and it was predicted that the travel demand reduction on the road of about 4~6% showed up.

  • KRRI (Korea Railroad Research Institute) is developing a bimodal tram since the 2003s. The vehicle will be used in the public transportation system. The bimodal tram has the advantages of both bus and train. Bus system has the advantages of flexibility of the routes delivering passengers to the destination and easy accessibility. Train is to meet the scheduled arrival and massive public transportations. The vehicle is the rubber tired tram and is all wheel steered single articulation. The propulsion system is configured by CNG hybrid system. The length of the vehicle is 18m. The vehicle lanes will be marked with permanent magnets that are buried in the road. The vehicle can be automatically operated by navigation control system (NCS). In this paper, we introduce the driving system of the bimodal tram which is developed by KRRI.

  • This study of bimodal integration management system in conjunction with the tram and the tram cars bimodal integrated management system that occupies a part of the system to perform its role as a bimodal tram vehicle configuration, a device for the vehicle's infrastructure ryureul development and it is aimed to build on the vehicle. Current general traffic management system in a similar terminal device being used, but bimodal tram vehicles operating the computer of the vehicle operates the infrastructure to configure the devices around the one to configure the system in terms of step enhanced the active type, the operating terminal unit of inter active type. In this study, considering the future alignment of the accounting fee system, the expansion of the system reliability and stability around the activities that are underway.

PXI embedded real-time controller를 이용한 Bimodal-tram Simulator (Bimodal-tram Simulator using PXI Embedded Real-time Controllers)

  • In this paper we present the Bimodal-tram simulator using the PXI embedded real-time controllers. The Bimodal-tram is developed in KRRI (Korea Railroad Research Institute). The vehicle can be automatically operated by navigation control system (NCS). For the automatic driving, the vehicle lanes will be marked with permanent magnets that are placed in the ground. The vehicle is controlled by NCS. NCS governs the manual mode and automatic mode driving. The simulator is designed by an identical conception with the real control condition. The dynamic motion of vehicle is simulated by the nonlinear dynamic model. The control computer calculates the control values. The signal interface is linked by CAN communication. The simulation is processed by real-time base. The test driver can see the graphic motion of vehicle and can operate the steering wheel, gas and brake pedal to control direction and velocity of vehicle during the simulation. At present, the simulator is only operated by manual mode. The automatic mode will be linked after the control algorithm is finished. We will use the simulator to develop the control algorithm in the automatic mode. This paper shows the simulator designed for Bimodal-tram using real-time based controller. The results of the test using the simulator are presented and discussed.

신교통 바이모달트램의 도시규모별 도입타당성 분석 (The Feasibility Studies for Introducing Bimodal Tram System Based on Urban Scale)

  • 현재 국내에서 개발 중인 바이모달트램은 철도의 정시성과 버스의 접근성 등의 장점을 합친 신교통수단으로서 국내 도입에 따른 대중교통체계의 변화가 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 바이모달트램의 국내 도입전략에 대하여 도시 규모별 교통수요 및 노선의 특성을 고려한 도입전략에 대하여 분석하였다. 지자체별로 다양한 교통 및 대중교통체계가 존재하고 재정적 여건 등 도입여건이 다양함으로 바이모달트램을 일반적으로 적용할 수 있는 정책적 방안을 경제성 분석을 통하여 제시하였다. 본 논문의 결과는 지하철/경전철을 도입하려는 지자체의 재정적 부담을 덜고 경전철에 준하는 수송력과 친환경성을 갖춘 바이모달트램의 도입을 검토하는데 효과적일 것으로 판단된다.

  • Since 2003, state transportation study core technology development is being promoted as part of the bimodal trams operating in accordance with the development of refractive vehicle as research infrastructure for building high-tech road transport system has been the research and development. Bimodal trams of refraction as the vehicle for him to introduce domestic first ever operation management system also developed in Korea according to case-based technology system, but most of the country, and, in this study, mainly those based on technology integration building management system and the bimodal trams of refraction of a vehicle operated was to highlight the features and benefits. Bimodal tram station itself is the way the exclusive properties and to operate the route with large transport capacity has the characteristics of the railway, but the only routes such as railroad lines is not of closed roads under certain circumstances, the flexibility to use has to be integrated operations management system of bimodal trams characteristics of the railroads and public transportation by combining the characteristics of a flexible, convenient and secure services to users with the aim of providing research and will denote the system developed. In this study, bimodal integration system required for the operation of the tram station around the wired and wireless network management center, applying the organic integration into one system so that you have to be centrally managed. In addition, the existing traffic management system operates as a unidirectional rather than monitoring all system-wide management via the interactive network through real-time requests and responses were configured to allow management and control. These findings of the existing traffic operation management system that you can jump step can be based on future unmanned vehicles and related systems through control of the operation management system will be offered as a basis.

얼굴과 음성 정보를 이용한 바이모달 사용자 인식 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Bimodal User Recognition System using Face and Audio)

  • 최근 들어 바이모달 인식에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 음성 정보와 얼굴정보를 이용하여 바이모달 시스템을 구현하였다. 얼굴인식은 얼굴 검출과 얼굴 인식 두 부분으로 나누어서 실험을 하였다. 얼굴 검출 단계에서는 AdaBoost를 이용하여 얼굴 후보 영역을 검출 한 뒤 PCA를 통해 특징 벡터 계수를 줄였다. PCA를 통해 추출된 특징 벡터를 객체 분류 기법인 SVM을 이용하여 얼굴을 검출 및 인식하였다. 음성인식은 MFCC를 이용하여 음성 특징 추출을 하였으며 HMM을 이용하여 음성인식을 하였다. 인식결과, 단일 인식을 사용하는 것보다 얼굴과 음성을 같이 사용하였을 때 인식률의 향상을 가져왔고, 잡음 환경에서는 더욱 높은 성능을 나타냈었다.
