In this paper, we present an immersive videoconferencing system that enables gaze correction between users in the internet protocol TV (IPTV) environment. The proposed system synthesizes the gaze corrected images using the depth estimation and the virtual view synthesis algorithms as one of the most important techniques of 3D video system. The conventional processes, however, causes several problems, especially temporal inconsistency of a depth video. This problem leads to flickering artifacts discomforting viewers. Therefore, in order to reduce the temporal inconsistency problem, we exploit the joint bilateral filter which is extended to the temporal domain. In addition, we apply an outlier reduction operation in the temporal domain. From experimental results, we have verified that the proposed system is sufficient to generate the natural gaze-corrected image and realize immersive videoconferencing.

This study aims to evaluate the status of implementation of bilateral-fishery order since the Korea-Japan Fisheries Agreement came into effect in 1999 in order to improve fisheries relationships between two countries. The agreement regulates bilateral-fishery order by the principle of the EEZ regime and mutual benefits among countries. (e.g. the mutual agreed fishing in EEZ and cooperation for resource management). However, the Korea-Japan Fisheries Agreement has some limitations such as reducing quotas of the mutual agreed fishing in EEZ, strengthening Japanese fisheries regulation, insufficient cooperation for fisheries management and joint countermeasures. In order to improve fisheries relationships between the two countries, it is imperative to rebalance quotas for the mutual agreed fishing in EEZ, to establish effective resource management systems in the Intermediate zone, to invigorate fisheries cooperation in the private sector, and to introduce new management systems by species over the all waters around East Asia. To accomplish such measures, it is necessary for Korean and Japanese governments to improve fisheries relationships based on trust and cooperation, achieving a win-win situation. Additionally, it is required to incorporate fisheries management among Korea, China, and Japan.

Objectives : The aim of this study is to report the improved case of bilateral avascular necrosis(AVN) of femur head treated with Korean medicine and Fascia Chuna Therapy Methods : The patient diagnosed with bilateral AVN is hospitalized at department of korean rehabilitation medicine, Samse hospital of korean medicine. The subject is treated by herbal medicine, acupuncture, SBV and hip joint gyoung-geon chuna. This study was measured by visual analogue scale(VAS) score, walking time without pain per 6 minutes and harris hip score(HHS). Results : The patient showed decreased VAS score, HHS and improved walking time without pain per 6 minutes after treated with korean medicine and hip joint Fascia Chuna Therapy. Conclusions : The patient showed reduced pain and positive effect on activities of daily living.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the gravitation of ship's cargo tons of arriving and leaving port of Busan based on the gravity model empirically and experimentally and to suggest possible ways to expand the trade quantities(cargo tons) by identifying important factors determining the port of Busan's bilateral trade flows with foreign countries by using the 1995, and 2001 data. In this paper, new independent variables, such as land, populations, and the APEC and ASEAN memberships, and new dependent variable, such as the ship's cargo tons of arrival and leaving port of Busan were used for expanding the previous studies. Empirical analysis found that the port of Busan tends to trade more with countries in close proximity and the large size of economies. The fact that the port of Busan's trades more with APEC countries than with non-APEC countries is a clear empirical evidence of the growing importance of the regional trade agreement and strategic alliance with the ports of these member countries. The main policy implication based on the findings of this study is that GDP, distance, adjacency, and APEC membership which were the affecting variables to the bilateral trade with the port of Busan should be closely investigated for enhancing the trade quantities with those foreign countries.

The closure of a wide alveolar cleft and fistula in cleft patients and the reconstruction of a maxillary dentoalveolar defect in bilateral cleft lip and palate (BCLP) patients are challenging for both orthodontists and oromaxillofacial surgeons. It is due to the difficulty in achieving complete closure by using local attached gingiva (palatal flap) and the great volume of bone required for the graft. In this article, the authors used bifocal distraction-compression osteosynthesis(BDCO) to create a segment of new alveolar bone and attached gingiva for the complete approximation of a wide alveolar cleft/fistula and the reconstruction of a maxillary dentoalveolar defect. Since the alveoli and gingivae on both ends of the cleft were approximated after BDCO, the need for extensive alveolar bone grafting was eliminated. It also could create new alveolar bone and gingiva for orthodontic tooth movement and implant.

Chylothorax is a debilitating condition to the point of threatening life. Diagnosis and subsequent management present significant problems for the clinician, and the adverse effects of chyle loss on nutrition status and immune function result in devastating consequences for the patient, propmpt diagnosis is essential to institute an effective therapeutic regimen. we reported a patient of idiopathic bilateral chylothorax treated by conservative approach with review of literatures.

We report a case of an 86-year-old man diagnosed with bilateral elastofibroma dorsi who was managed conservatively after a two year follow-up. An elastofibroma dorsi is a benign, slow-growing tumor that is most often located in the inferior periscapular area in elderly patients. It should be considered to differentiate them from other soft tissue tumors located at the inferior periscapular region. Increased awareness of these characteristics will decrease the incidence of a misdiagnosis of elastofibroma dorsi as a malignancy and avoid unnecessary surgery.

Coronary artery involvement in Takayasu's arteritis is a relatively rare, and potentially lethal but surgically correctable disease. A 28-year-old female was admitted for the evaluation of headache associated with dizziness, palpitation and claudication of left arm. Her aortogram and coronary angiogram showed Takayasu's arteritis with bilateral coronary ostial stenosis. We performed bilateral coronary ostioplasty with saphenous vein patch graft. The patient was discharged in good condition. We report this case with literature review.

An 81-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital with bilateral chest wall mass in the infrascapular region. Considering the possible diagnosis of a malignant chest wall tumor at such location, we performed excision and biopsy. Both masses were histologically diagnosed as elastofibroma. We experienced this rare disease, bilateral elastofibroma, so we report this case with a bibliography.

To prevent recurrence of spontaneous pneumothorax, 23 patients were operated through median sternotomy for simultaneous resection of bilateral bullae, And 27 patients with spontaneous pneumothorax were treated with unilateral thoracotomy, We studied the number, duration and sites of recurrence including findings of CT scan, as well as comparing the both operated group. The incidence of spontaneous pneumothorax was 88% in patients with the ages between 16 to 35 Forty one patients[82%] were operated with the indication of recurrent pne-umpthorax. The number of pneumothorax attack was 2.34 per patient with recurrent pneumothorax. The 87.8% of recurrence was occured within 6 months from last attack. Ips-ilateral recurrnet pneumothorax was 56.1% and contallateral involve was 43.9%. The bilaterality of visible bullae was 90.9% in the findings of chest CT scan and 91.3% in the operative finding. The sensitivity and accuracy for bulla detection with chest CT were 92.6%, respectively. Exclude one case of complicated median sternotomy infection, the postoperative hospital stay was shorter in median sternotomy approached group[P<0.05]. In conclusion, the bullous lesions of the lung have tendency of bilaterality so that median sternotomy for simultaneous resection of bilateral bullae should be considered in patients with contralateral visible bullae with chest CT.
