차세대 이동통신 서비스

  • 본 고에서는 2010년 경에 고속 이동시 100Mbps, 정지시에 1 Gbps의 전송속도로 멀티미어 통신서비스를 제공하는 새로운 능력을 가짐과 동시에 3세대, 2세대, 기타 무선접속기술을 모두 아우르는 시스템을 B3G(beyond IMT-2000)으로 정의한 차세대 이동통신의 서비스 연구 동향을 ITU-R의 WP8F, EU의 WWRF(Wireless world Research Forum), WWI(Wireless-World-Initiative), 일본의 mITF(Mobile IT Forum) 서비스 연구 동향과 ETRI 서비스 연구 결과를 살펴보았다.

Calculation of TDD-based Occupied Frequency Bandwidth in Technique Criteria for 4G Mobile Communication (4세대 이동통신용 기술기준에 적합한 TDD 기반의 점유주파수 대역폭 도출)

  • The new wireless multimedia environment is coming because of the variety of an user requirement and a traffic increase which we can not accept in the IMT-2000 present systems. To offer the wireless multimedia service the world wireless communication company which included the ITU-R is developing the standard and technique of 4G systems. We analyzed the technique criteria of the 4G wireless communication system in this paper which is based on that of WiBro System. We referred to the technique criteria of the WiBro system and deduced an occupied frequency bandwidth which is the common element of the uplink and downlink system among main wireless communication technique criteria. And we verified this through the simulation. So we proposed the occupied frequency bandwidth for 4G wireless communication in this paper.

And we proposed the PHY layer parameters of occupied frequency bandwidth of Up/Down-link with both 1:3 and 1:6. And we verified this through the simulation. So we proposed the technique criteria for 4G wireless communication in this paper.

  • Currently, with the increasing demand for combining cellular phone and PDA, various kinds of PDA-phones are being developed. A typical PDA-phone consists of a CDMA processor and a PDA processor. Generally, a UART serial communication port is used for inter-processor communication. However, the CDMA standard will need more data bandwidth over 2Mbps with the emergence of IMT-2000. The bandwidth requirement is beyond the capability of UART. In this paper, several inter-processor communication mechanisms are analyzed and especially Dual Port Memory and USB were chosen as the candidates for the new communication mechanism. A prototype PDA-phone board has been implemented for experiment. The experimental result shows that Dual Port Memory is better than USB in cost performance.

  • Today, third-generation(3G) of mobile communication service executing the video and TV. And low cost, high speed data rate will emerge communication of the fourth generation(4G) in future. So, in this paper we studied occupied frequency bandwidth of common technique criteria among the technique criteria for the 4G mobile communication of FDD-based on Up/Down-link.   • On global interconnectivity, the activation of real-time and worldwide contents will permeate and impact all aspects of day-to-day life well throughout this century. In managing contents and models, we too will see the impact of this rapidly changing environment. The real time availability of contents pertaining to a companys supply chain through means of the Internet and mobile networks(e.g., the IMT-2000) will necessitate a change in decision-making processes for effective management of contents and models. To increase the availability of many contents and models, a management system should have adaptive function in proving adequate content and model for companies. In the respect of management of contents and models, this paper discusses a production mechanism of meta-knowledge for effectively managing contents and models. Through two experimental analyses with the production mechanism, it is proven that the system enabling adaptive contents and models provision goes beyond existing ones in view of efficiency of management of contents and models in the wire and wireless networks.
