This study aims to examine what factors park users value in urban natural parte and to find ways to elevate user satisfaction for the creation and usage of an urban natural park To achieve this, the study relied on two methods: the descriptive method of researching publications and related scholastic writings, and the empirical study method including a survey of present condition and interviews with users. 'Breathing fresh air' and 'cleanliness' were the most important items and play facilities, cultural facilities, and landscape facilities were of lower orders of importance. This suggests that the 'sense of nature' is more important than functional facilities in urban natural parte. The importance of urban natural parks and the satisfaction visitors felt in them were measured, with mean results of 5.86 and 3.88, respectively, in terms of living surroundings. The impotance rating is higher than the satisfaction rating. Factor analysis resulted in six factors: benefits sought facilities for use, pleasant use, safety, accessibility, and management. Correlation and regression analysis showed only one positively correlated factor: benefits sought, suggesting that people recognize the importance of urban natural Parte through the benefits they gain in them and the satisfaction they find in urban parte depends on utilizing facilities. Therefore, in urban natural parks, people will find greater satisfaction through pursuit of the benefits they are seeking; improvements to park facilities should address the benefits that park users are seeking.
This study aims to investigate relationships between benefit sought and selection attributes of green tea consumers. For data collection, a total of 595 copies of questionnaires were collected by convenience sampling in the Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 15.0. The factor analysis identified four dimensions of the benefit sought : health benefit, sensory, sociality, and self-esteem. Six dimensions of selection attributes were identified as manufacturing, design, sensory appeal, recommendation, utility and brand. The results of the canonical correlation analysis indicated that health benefit, sensory, sociality of benefit sought and manufacturing, design, sensory appeal, recommendation, utility, brand of selection attributes were highly correlated, and the self-esteem of benefit sought and recommendation of selection attribute were highly correlated. This means it is important to place an emphasis on safety production, package design, sensory characteristics, product description, utility and brand for consumers who seek health benefit, flavor and sociality. It is also important to place an emphasis on product description for consumers who pursue self-esteem benefits. Green tea marketers should consider benefit sought aspects as the most important factors affecting selection attributes on green tea purchasing.
The purposes of this study were to investigate demographic profiles between the consumer group under high time pressure(HTP) and the group under low time pressure(LTP) during the shopping, to examine the level of association between the fashion information sources and time pressure variable, to determine the difference in clothing benefits sought between HTP and LTP, and to determine the difference in purchase criteria. We distributed questionnaires to 600 women aged in 20-65. The reliable 562 questionnaires were used for a statistical analysis. Data analyses were conducted with SPSS program on t-test, cluster analysis, factor analysis, and Chi square test. We obtained the following results: There was a significant association between demographic variables such as age, occupation, education, residence area, & family cycle and time pressure variable. Fashion information sources were classified into 4 factors. HTP searched information on fashion products using more various sources than LTP did. There was also a significant difference between HTP and LTP in clothing benefit sought. Four clothing benefit factors such as trendy/social position, economic value, protection/comfort, and makeup of body shape were sought more by HTP than by LTP. In addition, HTP considered significantly more purchase criteria such as color/pattern, comfort, quality, suitability, material, sewing finishing, coordination, price, brand, easy care, and country of origin than LTP.
The purpose of this study is to compare the purchase intention on naturally dyed clothing between Korea and the US. As independent variables that affect the purchase intention, benefits that consumers seek when purchasing naturally dyed clothing, especially for fabric materials, and attitudes towards naturally dyed clothing were selected. A quantitative research method with a survey was employed. 160 data from Korea and 180 data from the US were used for the analysis. The convenience sampling method (i.e., college female students) was used. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test and regression analysis were employed to test the differences in purchase intention, fabric benefit sought, and the attitudes. The fabric benefit sought selected for this study includes eco-friendliness, uniqueness, aesthetic, comfort and quality. The attitude toward naturally dyed clothing was categorized as an emotional and a cognitive attitude. The results show the significant differences in the fabric benefit sought depending on nationality, major and experiences in natural dyeing. Significant differences were found in of the attitude toward naturally dyed clothing among the nationalities and the experience types in natural dyeing. In addition, there were significant differences in purchase intention toward naturally dyed clothing between Korean and the US participants, and countries show different fabric benefits and attitudes which influenced participants' purchase intention. The results of this study suggest an appropriate fabric planning for environment-friendly fashion products for both countries.
