This study aims to examine what factors park users value in urban natural parte and to find ways to elevate user satisfaction for the creation and usage of an urban natural park To achieve this, the study relied on two methods: the descriptive method of researching publications and related scholastic writings, and the empirical study method including a survey of present condition and interviews with users. 'Breathing fresh air' and 'cleanliness' were the most important items and play facilities, cultural facilities, and landscape facilities were of lower orders of importance. This suggests that the 'sense of nature' is more important than functional facilities in urban natural parte. The importance of urban natural parks and the satisfaction visitors felt in them were measured, with mean results of 5.86 and 3.88, respectively, in terms of living surroundings. The impotance rating is higher than the satisfaction rating. Factor analysis resulted in six factors: benefits sought facilities for use, pleasant use, safety, accessibility, and management. Correlation and regression analysis showed only one positively correlated factor: benefits sought, suggesting that people recognize the importance of urban natural Parte through the benefits they gain in them and the satisfaction they find in urban parte depends on utilizing facilities. Therefore, in urban natural parks, people will find greater satisfaction through pursuit of the benefits they are seeking; improvements to park facilities should address the benefits that park users are seeking.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of value systems and social self-concept on the appearance management behavior and clothing benefits according to gender. The data were collected via a self-administered questionnaire from 453 male and female college students in Jecheon and analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression, and t-test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Value systems and clothing benefits classified into four factors respectively. 2. There existed significant differences according to gender in value system factors, social self-concept, appearance management behaviors and clothing benefit factors. 3. There existed correlations between value system factors and social self-concept. For male students, four factors of value system were correlated with social self-concept. But only one factor(pursuit of peaceful and secure life) was correlated with social self-concept for female students. 4. In male and female students, appearance management behaviors and clothing benefits were influenced by various value system factors and social self-concept.

The aims of this study were to identify benefits sought for herbal cosmetics and its significance in influencing consumers' attitude and brand choice. A questionnaire was distributed to 900 women between 20 and 50 years old who had purchased herbal cosmetics from Nov. 6, 2006 to Dec. 15, 2006. SPSS 12.0 package was used for data analysis. Factor analysis, $X^2$-test, frequency, percentage, multiple regression analysis were utilized. The results were as follows: 1. The benefits that consumer was seeking from herbal cosmetics could be classified into 9 dimensions; special function, brand, nutritional reinforcement, economy, scarcity, feeling, fragrance, fashion and skin fitness. 2. All of the above benefits sought except economy and fashion had positive impact on consumers' attitude of herbal cosmetics. 3. There was a correlation between types of benefits sought by consumers and their brand selection.
The purposes of this study were 1) to classify adult consumers according to their desired clothing benefits on natural-dyed clothes, 2) to identify the differences of life-style among the classified groups, and 3) to determine the interest in Korean traditional culture, interest in dyeing, and demographics among the groups. The survey subjects were 283 adults. The data were analyzed utilizing factor analysis, cluster analysis, $x^2$-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test and multiple regression analysis. Based on the 6 dimensions of clothing benefits that were identified by factor analysis, adult consumers were classified into three clusters: eco-friendly oriented group showing the highest scores in environment conservation and comfort in clothing benefits, individuality-oriented group showing the highest scores in individuality and quality, and indifference group showing lower scores in all of the desired clothing benefits. The eco-friendly group showed the highest scores in attitude toward Korean traditional culture, and tended to have the most interest in natural and traditional methods of dyeing. The group members appeared to have passive life-styles, be older and married, and have a higher income than the other groups. The more positive attitude they had in Korean traditional culture, the higher was the purchase intention shown in the eco-friendly group. The individuality-oriented group showed active life-styles. This group tended to be younger than the other group. The more affirmative attitude in Korean traditional culture and the greater interest in the natural dyeing, the higher was the consumers' purchase intention of natural dyeing apparels. The indifference group tended to be younger, unmarried, and have a lower income. This group was not interested in natural dyeing apparels. The study findings demonstrated that consumers with different clothing benefits sought have different buying patterns on natural dyeing apparels. Finally the marketing implications are discussed.

Extreme sports refers to sports activities with a high level of inherent danger, such as extreme skiing, snow-boarding, mountain biking, motocross bicycling, aggressive in-line skating, wake-boarding, and paragliding. This study investigates the characteristics of extreme sports participants as group identities through an examination of the differences between extreme sports participants and traditional sports groups in lifestyle and sportswear benefits sought. We composed a total 108-item lifestyle profiles characterized by six lifestyle dimensions (dress, diet, home, recreation, consumption, and sense of values); in addition, we developed 32 items for sportswear benefits sought. The surveys targeted 422 sports participants living in Korea (216 men and 206 women, aged 15-23): 119 extreme sports participants and 303 traditional sports participants. All items were evaluated on a 5-point Likert scale, and SPSS 17.0. was used for data analysis. Exploratory factor analysis was conducted to confirm the substructure of each lifestyle dimension and sportswear benefits sought. The results of the factor analysis on each lifestyle dimension are as follows: 5 factors in dress dimension, 4 in diet, 3 in home, 6 in recreation, 5 in consumption, and 6 in sense of values. Six factors of sportswear benefit sought were identified. A t-test revealed that there were significant differences between the two groups in lifestyle dimensions and sportswear benefits sought. This study reveals that the lifestyle characteristics of extreme sports participants are more likely than traditional sports group to be more self-expressive, more distinctive, more fashion-oriented, more conspicuous, and more brand-oriented, while preferring more active sports, more dynamic leisure, and a more sensible life. Another finding is that extreme sports participants seek the distinctive, conspicuous, and latest sportswear benefits.

As increasing the rates of purchasing cosmetic in internet shopping mall, the relationship marketing between purchaser and shopping mall service providers has become more important. At this point, the purpose of this study was to investigate factors of relational benefits and commitment, and to analyze the effects of relational benefits and commitment on word-of-mouth intention and repurchase intention for cosmetic purchaser in internet shopping mall. With convenience sampling, the research was surveyed to 20’s to 30’s female and male who had purchased cosmetics in internet shopping mall. The 308 responses were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, and multi-regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, the factors of relational benefits were divided into psychological benefits, social benefits, and economic benefits. Also the factors of commitment were divided into calculative commitment and affective commitment. Second, only psychological benefits affected to calculative commitment, and all three factors of relational benefits affected to affective commitment. Third, the word-of-mouth intention for cosmetic purchaser in internet shopping mall was affected by psychological benefits, social benefits, economic benefits, calculative commitment and affective commitment. Lastly, the repurchase intention of cosmetic in internet shopping mall was affected by psychological benefits, social benefits, economic benefits, calculative commitment, affective commitment and the word-of-mouth intention.
The purposes of this study were 1) to segment the female formal suit market based on clothing benefits sought by housewives in Checheon 2) to compare the real and ideal self-image's relative power on the clothing benefits factor, and 3) to develop a profile of each segment concerning self-image (real and ideal), and demographics. The data wer collected via a questionnaire from housewives. Using factor and cluster analysis, four groups were identified and labeled as 1) Easy care oriented users 2) Aesthetics/fashion oriented users 3) Low benefit oriented users. ANOVA, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, Chi-square statistics revealed significant differences among the three groups according to clothing benefits, real and ideal self-image and demographic variables.
This study aimed to identify the dimensions of benefits and costs that consumers perceive in utilizing locationbased applications (LBAs) on smartphones, and to distinguish consumer groups according to their perceptions of those benefits and costs. A web-based consumer survey was conducted-among consumers who had experience using LBAs. Four hundred participants were 20's to 40's, with 200 women and 200 men. Descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, t -tests, one-way analysis of variance, and cluster analysis were used for data analysis. The findings of this study are as follows: first, LBAs accounted for about 20% of the smartphone apps used by consumers. Second, factor analysis identified the underlying dimensions of the benefits and costs of smartphone LBAs. The underlying dimensions of benefits perceived by consumers were information/economic/convenience, entertainment and personalization. Privacy concerns, lack of trust and lack of behavioral control were the underlying dimensions of the perceived costs of LBAs. Third, ANOVA showed that the perceived benefits and costs of smartphone LBA services differed according to the characteristics of the consumer. Cluster analysis identified three distinctive consumer groups according to the levels of perceive costs and benefits of smartphone LBAs. The three groups were labeled the 'benefit-cost balanced group,' 'cost centered group,' and 'benefit centered group.'
This study investigates consumer's traits of market segmentation based on the apparel benefits. The subjects were 302 college students living in Yunnam, China. The mean, ANOVA, factor analysis, Duncan test, and K-means cluster analysis were used for statisticals analysis. The results of this study are as follows. The college students were classified, into six subdivisions, according to the apparel benefits by cluster analysis: indifference group, utility pursuit group, hedonic/brand pursuit group, individuality pursuit group, social recognition/fashion pursuit group, and pursuit benefits-minded group. In the factors of happiness-pursuing and life-centered of materialism, significant differences were found according to the groups of apparel benefits, and all factors of symbolic consumption and brand loyalty were found to have significant differences according to the groups of apparel benefits. The evaluation criteria of clothing were significantly different, depending on apparel benefits subdivision in criteria of aesthetic, socio-psychological, and utility. The use of information was shown to have significant differences, according to the groups of apparel benefits. The study results are highly expected to be utilized as useful sources in marketing plans for the midwest of China.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationships among clothing benefits sought, brand attachment, and brand loyalty. The subjects were 559 male and female consumers who were residents in Seoul. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, multiple regression, and path analysis. The results showed that there were seven clothing benefits sought: ideal figure/impression improvement, individuality, brand, fashion, comfort, conformity, and sex appeal. Brand attachment motives had two factors of brand personality/individuality expression and conformity/status elevation. Brand attachment consisted of love/friendliness and passion. Statistical analyses showed that there were significant relationships among clothing benefits sought, brand attachment, and brand loyalty. There were significant effects of clothing benefits sought factors on brand attachment motives. The consumers who sought benefits of ideal figure/impression improvement, individuality, and sex appeal had a brand personality/individuality expression motive. In the meanwhile the consumers who sought benefits of brand, fashion, comfort, conformity, and sex appeal had a conformity/status elevation motive. There were also significant effects of brand attachment motives on brand attachment. The consumers who had a brand personality/individuality expression motive felt love/friendliness and passion for their brands.
