ANSYS를 이용한 실대재의 휨특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Bending Performance of Structural Size Lumbers Using the ANSYS)

  • In our country, domestic species can not be used as a structural member because we have not yet grading system. So, to utilize as a basic data of grading system, bending test and numerical modelling on structural member were conducted in this study. 35 of Douglas-fir, 2" ${\times}$ 6", span 2.4 m were tested for the bending properties, and Ansys software was used to analyze the numerical modelling on the structural members. The data of knots were inspected and applied in numerical modelling. To obtain the accuracy of analysis, nonlinear numerical analysis was carried out instead of linear numerical analysis. Ultimate load had a wide range from 4883N to 11,738 N, and maximum deformation also had a range from 26 mm to 68 mm. Average of ultimate load was 8,616 N, and that of maximum deformation was 48 mm. The distinctive features of failure types were simple tension type and cross-grain tension type. Ulitmate load and maximum deformation from numerical modelling were 7,504 N and 37 mm. The numerical modelling drawn by this study is available to all species, and reasonable prediction on the bending performance is possible with only some material properties.

  • The purpose of t his paper is to database each factors from experimental results and develop the servo-controlled feeding system on these database. At first, spring back and bending farce are analyzed by basic theory of bending processing. In database, through practical experiment by the expert various types of bending angel and thickness of plate are tested and classified with SB34P and Aluminum. For the development of servo-controlled feeding system, automatic feeding system is designed and manufactured with ball screw and LM guide and performance of the developed feeding system is tested under condition of standard machine tool examination. Also, Mechanical consideration of mainframe in press brake, development of controller based on NC, program for servo-control are studied. Finally, based on experimental data, the system is operated and compared with theoretical data

  • A flexible pointing system mounted on top of a vehicle suffers from performance degradation due to bending vibrations as the vehicle runs on a bump course. In order to improve the pointing performance, the pointing structure's vibrations should be suppressed. In this paper, a nonlinear controller is designed to control the tip position of the pointing system while actively suppressing the vibrations. To cope with high order dynamics and nonlinearities of the plant and hydraulic actuating system, a two-stage sliding mode controller is devised. The desired actuating pressure is obtained in the first stage and then the in put current In the hydraulic servo system is computed to generate the pressure. The simulation results show the effectiveness of this scheme and improvements in pointing accuracy.

  • 본 논문에서는 장치의 유연성과 소형화를 위해 EHD 잉크젯 프린팅 기술을 이용하여 은 나노 잉크의 굽힘 특성을 확인하였다. EHD 기술을 위한 최적조건을 도출하였고 은 나노 회로의 굽힘 특성을 파악하였다. EHD 프린팅을 위해서는 재료 특성, 밀도, 유량, 전압, 토출 높이 등 각 파라미터 별 최적점을 찾아내는 것이 필수적이므로 작동 높이와 인가 전압에 따른 각각의 최적점을 도출하였다. 또한, 제작한 굽힘 장치를 통해 각 곡률 반경 별 저항을 측정하여 굽힘 특성을 알아보았고, 곡률이 증가함에 따라, 저항변화율이 급격히 증가하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • The progressive die for U-bending production part is a very specific division. This study reveals the Sheet metal forming process with multi-forming die by Center Carrier type feeding system. Through the FEM simulation by DEFORM it was accepted to u-bending process as the first performance to design in strip process layout design. The next process of die development was studied according to sequence of die development.

  • This paper describes a research work of developing a computer-aided design of product with bending and piercing for progressive working. An approach to the system for progressive working is based on the knowledge-based rules. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, experimental results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. The system has been written in AutoLISP on the AutoCAD with a personal computer and is composed of four main modules, which are input and shape treatment, flat pattern layout, strip layout and die layout module. Based on knowledge-based rules, the system is designed by considering several factors such as radius and angle of bend, material and thickness of product, complexities of blank geometry and punch profile, bending sequence, and availability of press. Strip layout drawing generated by the piercing processes with punch profiles divided into for external area is simulated in 3-D graphic forms, including bending sequences for the product with piercing and bending. Results obtained using the modules enable the manufacturer for progressive working of electronic products to be more efficient in this field.

신발의 굽힘강성 측정 장비의 개발 (Development of Measurement Device for Bending Stiffness of Footwear)

  • 스포츠화의 설계에서 신발 앞축 부분의 굽힘강성은 매우 중요한 설계인자이지만, 측정하기가 어렵다. 본 논문은 이러한 굽힘강성을 측정하는 장비를 소개한다. 장비는 알루미늄 프레임 구조와 AC 모터, 2개의 로드셀, 엔코더와 제어용 하드웨어로 구성되어있으며, 신발의 굽힘 모멘트를 측정하는 메카니즘을 소개하였다. 유용성을 입증하기 위하여, 신발의 소재와 디자인이 굽힘강성에 미치는 영향을 관찰하는데 사용되어 졌다. 실험을 위하여 신발 중창소재의 경도와 두께를 달리하여 완성신발 시편을 제작하였다. 이들 시편으로 굽힘실험을 수행하고, 최소자승법을 사용하여 굽힘강성을 구하였다. 실험결과 PU 중창으로 만든 신발이 PH 중창으로 만든 신발보다 굽힘강성이 높았으며, 중창의 두께가 중창의 경도보다 굽힘강성에 미치는 영향이 크다는 것을 알아낼 수 있었다. 따라서, 이러한 실험결과를 바탕으로, 본 측정장비는 유용한 실험결과를 도출할 수 있었으며, 이 장비를 통하여 측정된 신발의 굽힘강성은 신발 설계의 유용한 설계인자로 활용될 수 있다고 사료된다.

  • The flange hub is a main component of an automotive steering system. Dimensional precision of the flange hub is very important for precise control of the steering force. Consequently, the process design for precision forming of a flange hub is required. The teeth of the flange hub are generally formed by bending. In this study, the formability of flange bending was investigated using FE simulations. For the optimum process conditions, the flange is bent by movement of an insert die, and the die angle and bending length are selected as $90^{\circ}$ and 4mm respectively.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the bending process for manufacturing of sound pipe by 3 dimension bending machine. The arbitrarily-bended pipe is widely used in a heat exchanger system. The pipe should be formed precisely for assembling of heat changer. And, spring back effect and variation of the pipe thickness should be controlled effectively. We described the change of spring back amount and thickness variation of the pipe according to the change of bending radius and bending angle by FEM analysis. The analysis is adopted the elasic-plastic analysis and contact analysis on MARC software.

  • Press brake is used as bending and forming sheet metal in vehicle and many kind of industry. This paper deals with development of NC press brake based on high precision positioning device and software, which can be operated on personal computer. In this system, positioning device is used for controlling bending angle and operated by the developed software, which is database from material property, width and thickness of material. This study will make distribution in development of computer aided press brake.
