Flipped learning research has been applied in various educational fields since 2015 and the educational effects have been discussed in previous literature. In the beauty field, flipped learning research is insufficient; in particular, it is difficult to find research on flipped learning specifically concerning nail beauty education. The purpose of this study is to develop a model for applying flipped learning to nail beauty education which should involve practical training based on theory. Such an approach is considered effective. Data were collected and analyzed focusing on previous studies with flipped learning applied as a research method. The subject of the research is "Nail Color Design 1", a common nail major elective subject at J college. The "Nail Color Design 1" course is a practice-oriented course in the form of theory and practical classes. Consequently, the flipped learning education model for nail beauty was designed by reflecting learners' needs through the ADDIE instructional design model. It was applied based on the education structure of the Pre-class, In-class, and Post-class of the PARTNER instructional learning model. This study deviates from the traditional practical education model, and has educational significance as a practical model in which flipped learning is applied to nail beauty subjects and self-reflection is derived through project practice.

Make-up illustration is a field of creativity with visible creative and artistic values; its ultimate functions include communication of information, artistic expression, and recording. Establishing the make-up illustration education environment for the twenty-first century, there is an urgent need for research and development of professional curricula for basic art education and illustration education. It is extremely important for educators and institutions teaching make-up illustration to recognize that training of highly creative and professional beau designers through systematic educational structures is the ultimate foundation for enhancing competitiveness of the beauty industry despite the present reality that there are insufficient studies and publications on beauty illustration and that there is lack of illustration lecturers and artists equipped with professional beauty knowledge. Therefore, this study was conducted to research and analyze offering of illustration subjects by 160 beauty-related vocational schools and 16 4-year undergraduate colleges in the make-up field, which is the field with most creative art activities among the three representative beauty majors, namely make-up, hair, and skin. Education of make-up illustration must not remain as simple short-term education. The curricula must be specialized for providing solid foundation of basic majors. In terms of education content, strong emphases must be made for original and creative mark-up designs as well as purposes, functions, and necessity of make-up design and illustration. The curricula must include systematic, logical and artistic elements. Through the course of this study, which researched, analyzed and proposed measures for education content of make-up illustration, it was found that make-up illustration is the most appropriate subject that fulfills both the ultimate education objectives of beauty colleges and the demand by the society for beauty professionals. It is hoped that make-up illustration is emphasized and recognized for its importance and necessity as an education subject so that similar basic major subjects will further be researched and developed for specialized education.
The purposes of this study are to comprehend the internal meaning and the external form in style of Greek statue's clothing in the light of linked solution, and to compare the characterizations of style of Greek statue's clothing with those in Greek Art. For these purpose, the theoretical studies about Greek art are preceded as a framework of this research, and then plastic characteristics of Greek statue's clothing and Greek art are analyzed by the documentary studies, For sources, photographs of Greek statue in Archaeological Museum and Louvre museum are used. The result is as follows. It is demonstrated that the characters of internal meaning in style of Greek art and Greek statue's clothing. This study is an investigation research regarding Beauty Artists' perception degree about self-Technic. Therefore by grasping the field which the beauty artists recognize the insufficiency while they perform their task, the result which executed a question investigation for 430 workers at the beauty shops which are located in the Jeollabuk-do area is the same following. As a result on the subject, after the beauty artists receive a fundamental beauty care education, and when they are engaged in a real beauty care shop, in order not for them to have difficulties in business accomplishment, more realistic and active curriculum has to be made up. To do like this, more researches and more efforts in the center of the beauty care group and the educational institution are demanded. In addition, so as to grow as the expert of the beauty care artist, the systemic and internal educational training program which considers the curriculum contents, a time and the place must be provided, by developing as levels and steps of the beauty artists.

Although the human body is a biological subject with definite and distinctive physical features, its actualization and perception differs among societies. The aesthetics of the human body are based on diverse cultural perceptions that must be considered prior to design development. This study establishes the foundations of newly adopted concepts of beauty that are presumed to have been established in the first half of the twentieth century that continue to affect our mindset even now. The research includes human figures in the articles of women's magazines and cosmetic advertisements in the early $20^{th}$ century. The results are as follows: First, the change of perception in the human body: Instead of being a subject of preservation, the body has become a subject of sculpture with emphasis on health in the 1920's and on beauty in the 1930's. The recognition of the importance of the body has created intensive attention on physical training and an increased sense of hygiene. The body exposed to the public perceives itself through the eyes of others that alter one's own perception of oneself as well as become a target of evaluation. There is an additional emphasis on the exotic eroticism of a passive subordinate. Western culture became the standard for modernization along with the dissociation of traditional standards and values. Through the effect of education and western thinking, the awareness of women's rights and self-appreciation was developed. Second, ideal beauty can be summarized as follows: Unprocessed natural beauty was extolled as ideal in the 1920's, but the 1930's, it highlighted big eyes and an aquiline nose that are the characteristics of western women. Taking care of one's appearance was recognized as an important value for every social class. Cosmetics and skin care treatments promised soft and white skin. In contrast to western cosmetics, dark and shiny hair was highly favored. Exercising and traveling, differing seasonal and regional skin treatments were also widely accepted. In its initial stages, the research had originally assumed that the beginning of the twentieth century would be a time in which traditional concepts of beauty and new, westernized aesthetics coexisted. However, as the research progressed, it was clear that the idea of beauty had already adopted occidental ideals by that time. Thus, it seems necessary to continue the study on the shifting paradigms of beauty that must have occurred in the nineteenth and late twentieth century.

In this study, based on the expectation that beauty education based on VR experience of beauty majors will have on expertise and practical ability, it was attempted to develop VR-based beauty subjects and secure an educational environment. A total of 106 learners participated in the study, and the online questionnaire consisted of questions about the development of VR-based beauty subjects, recognition of expertisee and practical skills, and general characteristics. The collected data were verified at the significance level of .05 using the SPSS 21.0 statistical program. As a result of frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation, and linear regression analysis, the higher the grade, the higher the perception of VR-based beauty subjects development (p<.01). The perception of VR-based beauty subject development was related to VR-based expertise and practical skills for each sub-factor of the recognition of expertise (r=.683, p<.001), practical skills (r=.676, p<.001), and industry-related awareness (r=.543, p<.001). It was found that there was a statistically significant positive (+) correlation with related perception. In addition, it was found that the higher the awareness of VR-based beauty subjects development, the higher the expectation that expertise, practical ability, and industry-related awareness would be improved. As a result, the necessity of developing VR-based beauty subjects and expectations for course operation of majors in the beauty subjects environment were confirmed. In follow-up studies, it is necessary to expand the scope of the sample.
The purpose of this study was to develop service quality dimension of beauty parolrs in seoul area. The subject consisted of 545 adults with ages ranged between 20 and 30 who had evaluated service qualify dimension on one of the three different types of beauty parlors in seoul. The beauty parlors were classify into three types. Type I is franchised one, type II is located in center of city and type III is close to consumer's residence area. The result was as follows : 1. Four dimensions of the service quality of the beauty parlor were physical aspects(tangibles·accessibility·cleanness), employee aspects(empathy·capability), policy aspects of beauty parlor (management·reputation·credit card), the skill of the hair stylist. 2. To predict comsumer satisfaction. service quality dimensions were as follows : In franchised beauty parlor, the employee aspects(empathy), the policy aspect (reputation), the skill of the hair stylist were should be considered. In beauty parlor in downtown area, Physical aspects(accessibility), the employee aspects(capability), the policy aspects(reputation), the skill of the hair stylist were should be considered. And the beauty parlor in residence area, the employee aspects(empathy), the policy aspects(reputation) were should be considered.
This study was conducted to analyze the factors affected morbidity for beauty artists of the limited range of motion about cerviacl, shoulder and wrist, from July 15 through August 30, 2000. Questionnaires were distributed to 373 beauty artists working in beauty shops of Taegu city. The factors included general characteristics, working conditions, life style and regular diagnosis of subject. The data collected were analyzed by SPSS program and the results of this study are summarized as follows; By the marital status, 224(86.5%) out of 259 unmarried beauty artists had the complaint of a neck(P〉0.05), and by the status of education, the complaint rate of a shoulder of beauty artists who graduated university(92.9%) is the highest(P〈0.01). In survey of complaint rates of symptom by the sleeping place, 324(86.7) out of 373 subjects had the pain in shoulder(P〈0.01), specially, beauty artists who are sleeping in bed complained the pain in shoulder more the others, in survey of complaint rates of symptom by sleeping pose, there was the significant different in neck(P〈0.01) and shoulder(P〈0.001). In survey of complaint rates of symptom by regular diagnosis, 61(85.9%) out of 71 beauty artists who took regular diagnosis and 263(87.4%) out of 302 beauty artists who didn't take regular diagnosis(P〈0.05). In conclusion, beauty artists who are on their feet for long time by official trait complaint the pain in neck and shoulder mainly. This result occurs from complex action of general characteristics and work condition and so on. In order to promote the health of beauty artists, there are needs for moderate exercise and regular diagnosis.
The aim of this study was to determine the therapeutic effects of beauty care on negative mental health, including stress and depression. Nail care, massage care, and makeup were used as programs for beauty therapy. Qualitative research was conducted with six female participants over five-month period. After interviewing the subjects in advance, beauty care treatments were performed every week 4 weeks in the following order: nail care, massage, and makeup. The results are as follows, First, the participants perceived beauty care in the form of 4 concepts: "courtesy in social life," "investment in oneself," "self-satisfaction," and "self-care." Second, the effects of beauty therapy were categorized as "psychological effects," "confidence," "behavioral changes," "evaluation of others," and "positive social effects." Third, each subject showed different psychological effects during the process when the function of the therapy took effect through the beauty care treatment. It was confirmed that confidence levels increased as a result of treatment through the process of becoming re-aware of oneself. Positive statements from the participants included: "I want to go out," "I have become kind and positive to others," "I have become more active in a given task," and "It seems that my work ability is improving." Finally, t-test results for self-esteem, depression, and stress showed there were significant differences in self-esteem and depression. This confirmed that self-esteem increased, and depression decreased after the beauty care treatment.
