The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of consumption value, service quality, and customer satisfaction on store loyalty of beauty consumers. Using a questionnaire developed from previous studies, data were collected from 319 females at beauty stores located in Busan. They were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and path analysis using SPSS 14.0 Program. Results showed that beauty consumers were classified into three groups by their consumption values; Subjective group, Practical group, and Epistemic group. There were a little differences among three consumer groups in the influence of perceived service qualities on consumer satisfaction. They suggest that the more satisfied with store services, consumers were the greater loyalty of beauty stores. Additionally, satisfaction of beauty consumers was a very important variable to develop the store loyalty. These findings would provide retailers and marketers related to beauty stores the informations encouraging consumer satisfactions and developing strategies of beauty stores.
This study was conducted with students who had experience in purchasing nail products asa result of by taking the nail design course of the department of beauty at a junior college. The purpose of this study was to provide useful information to nail companies, including the importance of product elements and effective media promotion, to support the planning and promoting of nail products for beauty major students. Means analysis, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were conducted on detailed characteristics related to nail beauty (degree of nail management, degree of contact with nail beauty media) and considerations for the purchase of nail products. The results were as follows: For beauty major students, it was concluded that the greater the interest in nail beauty, such as degree of nail management and degree of contact with nail beauty media, the greater the interest in product quality, purpose, and safety, which are practical product elements considered when purchasing nail products. It was also confirmed that Instagram and YouTube advertising media have a significant effect on promoting nail product brands for beauty major students. As the subjects of this study comprise beauty major students in their early 20s, there is a limit to expanding and applying the conclusions of this study to general nail product consumers. Therefore, in subsequent studies, analysise of a wider range of nail product consumers should be conducted through an expanded sampling method.
The purpose of this study is to search the spiritual root of decoration and anti-decoration culture in contemporary Japanese fashion and find the aesthetic meanings of the decoration culture inside contemporary Japanese fashion. The contents of this study are 1. surveying the historical change about the aesthetic sense of Japan. decoration culture 2. deducing the distinctive aesthetic ideology from the decoration culture 3. finding esthetically the inside meaning of 1.2. in contemporary Japanese fashion. First, the origin of decoration culture was concerned with the belief in the life after death of the Buddhism culture to represent the noble society of the Heian(평안) period and the religion of paradise after the Middle Ages. Second. this decoration culture based on two aesthetic ideologies, beautiful(염) aesthetics and lofty(숭고) aesthetics. The beautiful aesthetics implies words, such as bewitchment, elegance, dignity and brilliance which stand for the sensual pleasure and the eroticism. The lofty aesthetics that was introduced by TakeTakasi(장고) during the Heian period, had the meaning of magnificence, greatness and dignity. This could be recognized as the Confucianism ideas. Third, as the beautiful aesthetics that was the representative aesthetic ideology of the decoration culture, it was related to splendid and decorative designs, and was recognized as the beauty of brilliance and coquetry. The beauty of brilliance, as a decorative element, appeared in patterns of the traditional costume and dyeing as well as the beauty of coquetry indicated that the women's fashion in Japan had soft, feminine, and cute images, called Hawaii, by using various decorations, such as feminine details, flower patterns. ruffles. ribbons and so on. TakeTakasi's lofty aesthetics applied the beauty of exaggeration to every art form. It has influenced the form exaggeration by overlapping in traditional costumes as well as the 1970s big look and layered look in Europe fashion. Issey Miyake and Takeda Kenzo introduced the decorative play, such as transformation and a distortion, which considered refinement, bluff, and oddity of the Japanese decoration art.
With the rapid growth of the Chinese cosmetics market and the continuous introduction of new products into the market, beauty videos generated by other consumers, that are by beauty vloggers, have become a major source of information for cosmetics consumers. With the popularity of beauty vlogs in China, beauty vloggers have become influencers who affect consumers' information processing and attitude development regarding cosmetic products and beauty routines. The current study aims to explore the characteristics of beauty vloggers that affect consumers' attitudes toward both the beauty vlogs and the products featured in those vlogs. Based on parasocial interaction theory, the study examines whether perceived characteristics of beauty vloggers influence consumers' perceived parasocial interaction, which in turn influences their attitudes. The study employs an online survey, which was administered to female consumers in China. Data from a total of 372 responses was used for analysis. Findings show that the perceived similarities to and perceived trustworthiness of vloggers have a significant impact on parasocial interactions, which influences consumer attitudes toward both the vlogs and the products shown in them. Perceived reliability and perceived attractiveness are shown to have a positive impact on consumer attitudes toward vlogs. Perceived expertise, attractiveness, similarity, and trustworthiness have all been shown to affect product attitudes. These results show that while beauty vlogs have a significant impact on consumers' decision-making processes, the perceived characteristics of beauty vloggers themselves are important to consumers in the development of their attitudes toward both vlogs and products.

Beauty is inclusive, which appears everywhere. As classic forms, poetry, calligraphy and painting are a good way to express the beauty of literature and art. In history, literature was almost identical to art. Among them, there is no lack of penetrating judgment about beauty, but which is often forgotten. Since the Qing Dynasty, Yuyang's Notes on Poetry can be said to be one of the representatives. There are many versions, whose common ones are three volumes and two volumes. The three volumes were the first carving copies of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. The two volumes are the lithographic books in 1909, with the "Preface of Yongzheng and Yu Zhaosheng" as the base. For details, please refer to the text, which needs no further elaboration here. We it includes too many contents, so some parts are chosen as an example to trigger thought about aesthetics. Wang Shizhen was the literati of the Qing Dynasty who had the greatest influence on the Korean Peninsula in terms of poetry. In Yuyang's Notes on Poetry, he also specifically talked about the poetry diplomacy between the Qing Dynasty and the Chosun Dynasty, whose literature value was extremely high. Art contains both beauty and crafts.
As modern society leads to distinguished, sensuous, and diversity styles, a woman who enjoys putting on Garu makeup appeared on a popular TV talk show in winter 2010, which aroused public interest in the method of Garu makeup. However, as interest in Garu makeup and individuals who put on Garu makeup spread, some began to consider Garu makeup as the imitation of indiscreet Japanese culture or a vulgar culture. Thus the purposes of this study is to understand the characteristics of Garu makeup and its forms of expression by considering its type, origin and style. In turn, this study will provide basic data for the makeup trend and act as an aid to improve the image of Garu makeup through investigating its image and preference. To accomplish this purpose, this study reviewed relevant literatures and web resources, conducted a survey of students who study beauty art at two-year junior colleges in Seoul, and analyzed 195 answers by using SPSS 18.0. The results are as follows: It was proved that in the preliminary inspection of comprehension, 98.3% of college students majoring in beauty art had known Garu makeup, 53% understood somewhat the characteristic and concept of Garu makeup, 36.8% gave preference to Garu makeup. It was proved that in the investigation by the image of Garu makeup, as over 70% of students thought that Ogaru and Yamamba makeup were detestable, but other Garus were lovely and sexy, students perceived as a diversity of images by their own preferences and tastes, and 73% of respondents selected Onegaru as Garu makeup that they gave preference to and wanted to put on. The result of this study represents that mass consumers in the existing culture, who are college students majoring in beauty art and selected as a sample group in this study, reflect the stream of culture and trend, but also demassification, mass customization by their areas of interests and preferences and connective massification of individuals with similar interests.
The purposes of this study were 1) to examine the conceptual structure of outcome quality and process quality of beauty service, 2) to investigate the relationships among beauty service quality, consumer satisfaction, word-of-mouth reputation and perceived risk, and 3) to find out the effects of related variables on consumer satisfaction. The questionnaire was developed based on pretest and previous studies, and completed by 435 female consumers that experienced beauty service during about one month in Busan. First, factor analysis showed that the process quality of beauty services consisted of four factors, such as Employee Service, Physical Service, Time-saving Service, and Economic Service. And the outcome service quality consisted of two factors, such as Socio-psychological service, Functional service. Second, the higher word-of-mouth reputation and the lower perceived risk were the higher perceived beauty service quality and the more satisfied with service. Third, the process quality of beauty service, word-of-mouth reputation, socio-psychological service quality effected on consumer satisfaction. Especially, the employee service was very important on consumer satisfaction.
With supplied computers and the development of information and communication thropugh the Internet, the space of personal home pages in potal sites has been filled with photos taken by digital cameras, and 'the introduction of privacy' done in the personal home pages has become a general trend in society. As the use of Photoshop, available to edit and modify digital photos, in this social atmosphere, has grown general, they have shown their interest in the retouching technique of Photoshop. Computer graphics, marked based on the treatment of a variety of information into pictures or a technology to mark it, recently various application methods have been found in make-up. Especially, Adobe Photoshop, used to edit and modify images, is a sofetware program proper to perform beauty make-up in correcting and creating images in an effective way. The purpose of this study is to express each factor in Adobe Photoshop CS2 about the beauty make-up. As a result, I can say, the process that digital image is retouched by Adobe Photoshop CS is similar work to beauty make-up. The process of Photoshop retouching can be used as the materials for educating of make-up and as the materials for presentation of beauty make-up trend. And also we can serve the simulation to the customer before real make-up. Therefore, this study is for the effective performance of diverse beauty makeup integrating retouch technique with Photoshop CS.
The purpose of this study was to identify beauty influencer attributes on Instagram and their impact on product attitude and purchase intention and on influential difference between micro and mega influencers. The survey was conducted using a consumer survey method with a questionnaire, and the subjects of the survey were 506 women in their 20s and 30s using Instagram. The results of the study are as follows: First, a range of influencer attribute sub-factors were derived in relation to expertise, attractiveness, similarity, reliability, and intimacy. Second, the attributes highly impacted product attitude in the increasing order of attractiveness, similarity, reliability, and familiarity, with expertise having no statistically significant influence. Third, the consumer's attitude toward the product introduced by the beauty influencer had a significant impact on their purchase intention. Fourth, it was shown that there is no difference in attributes according to the influencer's number of followers. Fifth, the number of followers of the beauty influencer had a partial impact on attitude and purchase intention. A limitation of this study is that age and gender samples are narrow, but it is nevertheless meaningful to explore this topic in the absence of research on beauty influencers. It is believed that these findings will serve as a foundation for the development of beauty influencer marketing strategies on Instagram.
