사천만과 남해연안에서 새우조망에 어획된 어류의 종조성 및 군집구조 (Species composition and community structure of fish by shrimp beam trawl between Sacheon Bay and coastal waters off Namhae, Korea)

  • It was turned out by shrimp beam trawl monthly survey from March, 2015 to February, 2016 that different species composition and abundance of the fish assemblages in Sacheon Bay and coastal waters off Namhae, Korea were compared. As a result of monthly measured sea temperature and salinity of Sacheon Bay and coastal waters off Namhae, sea temperature of both areas was changed seasonally; however, differences in sea temperature occurred during certain periods depending on the region. Salinity was generally low in Sacheon Bay affected by fresh water, and both areas was low in summer and high in winter. A total of 73 species representing 37 families were collected in Sacheon Bay. The dominant fish species in terms of numbers and biomass were Liparis tanakae, $23,077inds./km^2$, $332.1kg/km^2$. A total of 91 fish species representing 49 families were collected in coastal waters off Namhae. The dominant fish species in terms of numbers were Leiognathus nuchalis, $139,683inds./km^2$ and biomass were Chelidonichthys spinosus, $1,078.6kg/km^2$. Analysis of dendrogram of the clustering showed that Sacheon Bay and coastal waters off Namhae were distinctive featured (global R = 0.691, p = 0.017). And except of summer season (July-October), there was a distinctive feature seasonally (global R = 0.844, p = 0.001). The fish species that appeared in common in both areas, where fish species caught in Sacheon Bay, an important inner bay,were smaller than those caught in coastal waters off Namhae appeared. It presented that Sacheon Bay plays a more important role in spawning and nursery ground for fisheries resource than coastal waters off Namhae, Korea.

  • In order to obtain the most favourable classification system for fishing gears, the problems in the existing systems were investigated and a new system in which the fishing method was adopted as the criterion of classification and the kinds of fishing gears were obtained by exchanging the word method into gear in the fishing methods classified newly for eliminating the problems was established. 새우조망 어업에서 그리드와 윈도우 네트의 선택효과 (A selective effect of grid and window net in the shrimp beam trawl fishery)

  • The study aims at a selective effect of the Grid and Window net in the shrimp beam trawl. The experimental trawling of the Proto type, Grid type and Grid and Window net type was performed in a sea area of Geo-je and Tong-yeong from Mar, 2006 to Apr, 2010. The obtained results are as follows; Catch per unit area (Number) of the Proto type net and Grid type net were $0.18/m^2$, $0.23/m^2$, respectively. The Grid type demonstrated 2.4% lower bycatch rate than the proto type (6.6% vs 4.2%, respectively). In addition, in terms of total weight, the bycatch rate of Grid type was 7.6% lower than the proto type (50.2% vs 42.6%, respectively). In the comparison of shrimp catch, the Proto type demonstrated better haul outcome ($0.02case/m^2$) than the Grid & Window type ($0.02case/m^2$). The Grid & Window net type demonstrated 16.4% lower bycatch rate than the Proto type (32.2% vs 48.6%, respectively). In addition, in terms of total weight, the bycatch rate of Grid & Window net type was 8.3% lower than the Proto type (85.9% vs 94.2% respectively).

문치가자미(Pseudopleuronectes yokohamae) 치어의 이석 일륜을 이용한 성장 및 산란시기 추정 (Estimation of Early Growth and Spawning Period of Marbled Flounder (Pseudopleuronectes yokohamae) in the Water off Namhae of Korea as Indicated from Daily Growth Increments in Otoliths)

  • 2011년 2월부터 5월까지 경남 남해군 연안에서 소형 Beam trawl에 채집된 문치가자미 치어 이석을 관찰 분석하여 부화시기와 초기성장을 추정하였다. 문치가자미 치어는 2011년 2월에서 5월까지 총 175개체가 채집되었며, 체장-체중 관계식은 $W=9.76^*10^{-8}L^{4.39}$ ($r^2=0.93$)를, 체장-이석경 관계식은 L=0.0795R+0.2249 ($r^2=0.92$)로 추정되었다. 체장 성장은 $L_t=135{\exp}\{-{\exp}[0.0103(t-116)]\}$ ($r^2=0.83$)로 Gompertz 성장식이 가장 유의하게 회귀되었다. 이석 일령으로부터 추정한 주 산란시기는 12월에서 1월인 것으로 추정되었다.

  • To investigate seasonal variation of fisheries resources composition and their correlationships with environmental factors in the coastal ecosystem of the middle Yellow Sea of Korea, shrimp beam trawl were carried out for the fisheries survey. Fisheries resources of 81 species, 57 families, and 6 taxa totally were collected by shrimp beam trawl in the middle coastal ecosystem of Yellow Sea of Korea. Species were included 6 species in Bivalvia, 6 in Cephalopoda, 22 in Crustacea, 2 in Echinodermata, 5 in Gastropoda, and 40 in Pisces. Diversity indices (Shannon index, H') showed seasonal variation with low value of 2.14 in winter, and high value of 2.67 in spring. Main dominant species were Oratosquilla oratoria, Octopus ocellatus, Acanthogobius lactipes, Cynoglossus joyneri, Rapana venosa venosa, Loligo beka, Chaeturichthys stigmatias, Raja kenojei, Microstomus achne and Paralichthys olivaceus, that were occupied over 58% of total individuals, and 55% of wet weight. Fisheries organism made four coordinative seasonal groups by the principal component analysis (PCA), showing stronger seasonal variation than spatial variation. PC from PCA showed statistically significant cross-correlationships with seawater temperature, $NH_4$-N, TP and chlorophyll a (P < 0.05).

소형 트롤 어선의 예망과 항해중의 동요특성 (On the motion characteristics of small trawler in trawling job and sailing)

  • 실해상 실험을 통하여 해상의 조건이 동일할 때, 예망과 항해중일 때의 만남파에 대한 소형 트롤어선의 종동요와 횡동요의 응답특성을 통계적 방법과 이론적인 방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. (1) 종동요의 응답 크기를 예망중과 항해중에 따라 비교하면 큰 차이가 없으나, 선수쪽에서 파를 받을 경우에는 항해중의 응답이 예망중 보다 양각 커지는 경향이 있다. (2) 횡동요의 응답은 예망중과 항해중 모두 종동요에 비해 매우 크다. 그러한 경향은 모든파향에서 현저하지만, 횡파를 받을 경우에는 양자의 응답 차이는 줄어든다. (3) 예망중과 항해중 모두 종동요에서 응답스펙트럼의 peak가 나타나는 주기는 파향에 관계없이 거의 일정하다. (4) 선미쪽에서 파를 받고 예망할 때, 양현에 균등하게 warp의 힘이 작용한다면, 어구의 저항은 동요를 감쇄시키는 상당한 효과가 있다.

한국 남해안 새우류 군집의 계절변이 (Seasonal Variation in Shrimp Communities in the Southern Coast of Korea)

  • We examined seasonal variation In the abundance and species composition of shrimp communities in Doam Bay and around Naro-do, Korea. Samples were collected monthly from March 2001 to February 2002 (Doam Bay) and from December 2000 to November 2001 (Naro-do) usinga beam trawl. A total of 19 shrimp species representing eight families were collected from Doam Bay. The dominant species were Exopalaemon carinicauda, Trachysalambria curvirostris, Parapenaeopsis tenella and Crangon hakodatei, which accounted for 92.6% of individuals and 92.8% of biomass. In the Naro-do area, a total of 18 shrimp species representing eight families were collected. The dominant species were C. hakodatei and P. tenella, which accounted for 78.6% of individuals. Exopalaemon carinicauda, T. curvirostris, P. tenella, C. hakodatei and Metapenaeus joyneri accounted for 89.6% of biomass. In each season, the pattern of species appearances differed in the two areas.

New Occurrences of Two Penaeid Species (Crustacea: Decapoda: Dendrobranchiata) in Korean Waters

  • New occurrences in Korean waters were recorded for two penaeid species: Atypopenaeus stenodactylus (Stimpson, 1860) and Metapenaeopsis toloensis Hall, 1962, which were previously known from the Indo-West Pacific up to southern Japan. The specimens were collected from the southeastern coast of Korea by a shrimp beam trawl. The former is the only known member of the genus Atypopenaeus and the latter is the sixth species of the genus Metapenaeopsis reported in Korea. Morphological descriptions and illustrations with color photographs of the specimens are given. At present, the Korean Penaeidae consist of 20 species in 11 genera. A key to the Korean genera of family Penaeidae is also presented.

해상풍력발전단지 내 어업 가능성에 관한 고찰 (Possibility of Fishery in Offshore Wind Farms)

  • 본 연구는 해상풍력발전단지 내 어업의 가능성을 살펴보고자, 어구 및 어법이 해상풍력발전단지 내 터빈과 해저케이블에 미치는 위험도를 평가하였다. 서남해 해상풍력발전단지를 연구 대상 해역으로 설정하여, 주변 국가어항의 선박 현황을 조사하였다. 어선의 현황을 참조하여 22개의 어구 및 어법에 대하여 위험도 평가 기준을 설정하고, 전문가를 통해 위험도를 평가하였다. 위험도가 낮아 해상풍력발전단지 내에서도 조업이 가능하다고 판단되는 어구 및 어법은 외줄낚시, 대낚시, 멸치챗배였으며, 위험도가 보통으로서 조업이 가능하기는 하나, 주의가 필요하다고 생각되는 어구 및 어법은 바닥주낙, 뜬주낙, 끌낚시, 오징어채낚기, 문어단지, 주꾸미소호, 연안통발, 주목망, 낭장망, 고정자망, 유자망이었다. 위험도가 높아 해상풍력발전단지 내 조업이 어렵다고 판단되는 어구 및 어법은 형망, 빔트롤, 건착망류였으며, 위험도가 아주 높아 해상풍력발전단지 내 어업이 허용되기 어렵다고 판단되는 어구 및 어법은 안강망, 기선권현망, 오터트롤, 외끌이기선저인망, 쌍끌이기선저인망이었다.

아산만 천해역 수심에 따른 어류 종 조성의 계절 변동 (Seasonal Variation in Species Composition of Fish with Depth in Asan Bay)

  • 1997년 10월부터 1998년 8월까지 2개월 간격으로 아산만 입구 입파도 부근에서 수심 1. 5m 이하인 정점 1에서는 갓후리그물로, 수심 5~7 m인 정점 2와 15 m 이상인 정점 3에서는 beam trawl로 어류를 채집하여 수심에 따른 종 조성의 계절 변동을 분석하였다. 총 43종이 채집되었으며, 정점 1에서 13종, 정점 2에서 28종, 정점 3에서 30종이 채집되었고, 밀도도 수심이 깊어짐에 따라 증가하였다. 정점 1과 2에서는 날개망둑(Favonigobius gymnauchen)이 전체 개체수의 55.7%, 38.9%를 차지하였고, 여름철에 출현 총수와 개체수가 많았으며, 대부분이 유어들이었다. 정점 3에서는 흰베도라치 (Pholis fangi)와 쉬쉬 망둑 (Chaeturichthys stigmatias)이 개체수 면에서 우점하였고, 주로 성어와 크기가 큰 개체들이 채집되었다. 이 정점에서도 난수기에 밀도가 낮았으나, 겨울에 상대적으로 많은 종이 출현하였다. 주성분 분석의 결과 종 조성은 깊은 곳과 얕은 곳이 다르게 나타났다. 전체적으로 아산만 어류는 서해 다른 해역에 비하여 출현 종수와 밀도가 낮았고, 아산만 내에서도 모래뻘질인 조사해역의 종 조성은 뻘로 구성된 내부해역과도 차이가 있었다.
