  • Organic semiconductors based on vacuum-deposited films of fused-ring polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon have great potential to be utilized as an active layer for electronic and optoelectronic devices. In this study, pentacene thin films and electrode materials were deposited by Organic Molecular Beam Deposition (OMBD) and vacuum evaporation respectively. For the gate dielectric layer, OPTMER PC403 photo acryl (JSR Coporation.) was spin-coated and cured at $220^{\circ}C$. Electrical characteristics of the devices were investigated, where the channel length and width was $50{\mu}m$ and 5 mm. It was found that field effect mobility was $0.039\;cm^2V^{-1}s^{-1}$, threshold voltage was -7 V, and on/off current ratio was $10^6$.

  • For determining the in-plane buckling resistance of a concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) arch, the current technical code GB50923-2013 specifies the use of an equivalent beam-column method which ignores the effect of rise-to-span ratio. This may induce a gap between the calculated result and actual stability capacity. In this study, a FE model is used to predict the buckling behavior of CFST truss arches subjected to uniformly distributed loads. The influence of rise-to-span ratio on the capacity of truss arches is investigated, and it is found that the stability capacity reduces as rise-to-span ratio declines. Besides, the calculations of equivalent slenderness ratio for different truss sections are made to consider the effect of shear deformation. Moreover, based on FE results, a new design equation is proposed to predict the in-plane strength of CFST parabolic truss arches under uniformly distributed loads.

  • Radially polarized beams with the ability to generate a sub-wavelength sized spot in a longitudinal field provides significant applications in microscopic imaging, optical tweezers, lithography and so on. However, this excellent property can also be achieved based on conventional circularly polarized beams. Here, we demonstrate its ability to create a strong longitudinal field by comparing the tight focusing characteristics of fractional-order vortex modulated radial polarized and left-handed circular polarized Bessel-Gauss beams. Additionally, the possibility of generating arbitrary fractional-order vortex modulated Bessel-Gauss beams with a strong longitudinal field is demonstrated. A special modulation method of left-handed circularly polarized Bessel-Gauss beams modulated by a fractional-order vortex is adopted creatively and a series of regulation laws are obtained. Specifically, the fractional-order phase modulation parameter n can accurately control the number of optical lobes. The ratio of the pupil radius to the incident beam waist β1 can control the radius of the optical lobes. The first-order Bessel function amplitude modulation parameter β2 can control the number of layers of optical lobes. This work not only adds a new modulation method for optical micromanipulation and optical communication, but also enriches the research on fractional vortex beams which has very important academic significance.

  • The main stream of presentation is interrupted because of the direct manipulation of their PC frequently so as to control the screen and file open and so on. A variety of products have been developed to solve these inconveniences of the conventional laser beam pointer [LBP] by simply adding a mouse function to the previous LBP. However. the LBPs fully supporting a mouse function are not yet appeared. In this paper. we developed the LBP fully fulfilling a mouse function using mono-camera as well as a robust image processing and analyzed the position detection accuracy. Finally we verified the developed LBP does not only fulfill a mouse function but also solve the defects of the current laser pointer such as inconvenient installation and Position detection errors due to the illumination and viewing direction changes.

  • Nonlinearity plays an important role in control systems and the application of design. For this reason, in addition to linear vibrations, nonlinear vibrations of the stepped nanobeam are also discussed in this manuscript. This study investigated the vibrations of stepped nanobeams according to Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory. Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory was used to capture the nanoscale effect. The nanoscale stepped Euler Bernoulli beam is considered. The equations of motion representing the motion of the beam are found by Hamilton's principle. The equations were subjected to nondimensionalization to make them independent of the dimensions and physical structure of the material. The equations of motion were found using the multi-time scale method, which is one of the approximate solution methods, perturbation methods. The first section of the series obtained from the perturbation solution represents a linear problem. The linear problem's natural frequencies are found for the simple-simple boundary condition. The second-order part of the perturbation solution is the nonlinear terms and is used as corrections to the linear problem. The system's amplitude and phase modulation equations are found in the results part of the problem. Nonlinear frequency-amplitude, and external frequency-amplitude relationships are discussed. The location of the step, the radius ratios of the steps, and the changes of the small-scale parameter of the theory were investigated and their effects on nonlinear vibrations under simple-simple boundary conditions were observed by making comparisons. The results are presented via tables and graphs. The current beam model can assist in designing and fabricating integrated such as nano-sensors and nano-actuators.

  • Next future, The bio technology will be a rapidly developing. This paper is the scattering beam measurement of the red blood cell (RBC) and the fabrication of the micro cell biochip using the bio micro electro mechanical system (Bio-MEMS) process technology. The Major process method of Bio-MEMS technology was used the buffered oxide etchant (BOE), electro chemical discharge (ECD) and ultraviolet sensitive adhesives (UVSA). All experiments were the 10 times according to the process conditions. The experiment and research are required the ultraviolet expose, the micro fluid current, the cell control and the measurement of the output voltage Vpp (peak to peak) waveform by scattering angles. The transmitting and receiving of the laser beam was used the single mode optical fiber. The principles of the optical properties are as follows. The red blood cells were injected into the micro channel. The single mode optical fiber was inserting in the guide channel. The He-Ne laser beam was focusing in the single mode optical fiber. The transmission He-Ne laser beam is irradiating to the red blood cells. The manufactured guide channel consists of the four inputs and the four outputs. The red blood cell was allowed with the cylinder pump. The output voltage Vpp waveform of the scattering beam was measured with a photo detector. The receiving angle of the output optical fiber is $0^{\circ}$, $5^{\circ}$, $10^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$. The magnitude of the output voltage Vpp waveform was measured in the decrease according to increase of the reception angles. The difference of the output voltage Vpp waveform is due differences of the light transmittance of the red blood cells.

  • A nuclear microprobe system with adjustable precision object slits and a magnetic quadrupole doublet was designed by the beam optics simulation using a first order matrix formalism, and installed in a $30^{\circ}$ beam line connected with KIGAM 1.7 MV Tandem VDG Accelerator. Demagnification factors for x and y axis are calculated to be 25 and 4.9, respectively, and a minimum beam spot side is expected to be about 5 $\mu\textrm{m}$ for 3 MeV proton beams with a current of about 1 nA. A multi-purpose octagonal target chamber has been built to facilitate MeV ion-beam analytical techniques of PIXE, RBS, ERDA, and ion beam micro-machining. It contains X-ray and particle detectors, a zoom microscope, a Faraday cup, a 4-axis sample manipulator and a high vacuum pumping system. The system performance of the nuclear microprobe is now being tested, and automatic manipulator control and data acquisition system will be installed for routine applications of micro ion-beam analytical techniques.

  • The TMD has a simple structure than other vibration control devices and shows excellent control performance for the simple harmonic vibration generated in the structure. However, the vibration control range is narrower than other control devices, making it vulnerable to vibration cycles caused by unexpected external loads. The ETMD developed in this study consisted of Mass with electromagnets. Therefore when supplying a current, the magnetic field is formed to increase the friction force with the friction plate, thereby instantaneously controlling the behavior of the Mass. The experiment was conducted to compare the control performance of the control device by installing the ETMD developed for control performance evaluation in the center of the model simple beam bridge to forced excitation at 3.02 Hz where the maximum bending displacement occurs. As a result of the experiment, ETMD exhibited excellent control performance with a maximum bending displacement attenuation rate of 57.51%.

  • In this study, for carrying out the spray and combustion experiment using a Common Rail Direct Injection(CRDI) system, the controller was fabricated to drive a high speed camera, a injector and a laser beam sequentially at a low cost. CB280 module of one-chip micro processer was used for the controller. In order to confirm responsibility and utility of the controller, the current drive performance, the spray behavior and the injection rate were tested and analyzed under various experimental conditions. As this research results, we found that the fabricated controller was able to control the devices for the spray experiment precisely with the input value in program and it had the dynamic load responsibility and repetition. Also, we found that the injection rates of our experimental results were higher than those of others at the same injection pressure and the controller connected with the laser system and the data acquisition system had validity for carrying out the spray visualization experiment.

  • When a mobile robot moves around autonomously without man-made landmarks, it is essential to recognize the placement of surrounding objects especially for current position estimation, obstacle avoidance, or homing into the work station. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to recognize the floor paln for indoor mobile robot navigation using ultrasonic time-of-flight method. We model the floor plan as a collection of polygonal plane objects and recognize the floor plan by locating edges and vertices of the objects. The direction is estimated by the patterns of transmission beam and reception sensitivity of the ultrasonic transducer, and the distance is estimated by the correlation detection method. We show the validity of the proposed approach through experimental results and discuss the resolution and the accuracy of the estimation of direction and distance.
