  • 게임의 과금 모델 중 하나인 배틀패스가 현재 게임의 비즈모델의 주요 트랜드로 자리 잡고 있다. 본 문서는 배틀패스가 성장하는 이유를 탐구하기 위하여 게임 비즈니스 모델의 종류를 알아보고, 배틀패스의 성공과 실패 사례를 조사한다. 이 결과를 기반으로 배틀패스가 실제 수익에 영향력을 분석하여 배틀패스로 비즈니스 모델을 운영하는 것이 실제 게임 수익에 영향을 미치고 있는지 알아보고자 한다.

  • 현재 게임 비즈니스 모델의 흐름은 패키지에서 정액제, 정액제에서 부분유료화, 부분유료화에서 배틀패스로 변화하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 장르, 플랫폼 상관없이 배틀패스 비즈니스 모델을 채택하는 게임이 늘어가고 있는 추세에 배틀패스는 무엇이며 타 비즈니스 모델과는 달리 어떤 특징이 존재하기에 현재 비즈니스 모델의 변화를 주도하는지에 대해 설명한다. 또한 배틀패스 비즈니스 모델의 단점과 앞으로 우려되는 문제점을 설명함과 동시에 이에 따른 해결 방안을 제시한다.

  • 온라인 게임에서 기존에 가장 활발하게 사용되었던 비즈니스 모델인 확률형 아이템에 대한 문제가 제기되고 법적인 제재가 가해지면서 우리나라 게임 산업은 부분유료화 방식의 온라인게임, 그 중에서도 큰 비중을 차지하는 MMORPG에 어울리는 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 찾아야 한다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 비즈니스 모델로 FPS와 MOBA 장르에서 활발하게 사용되고 있는 '배틀패스' 시스템을 분석하고 이를 MMORPG에 적용하기 위해서는 어떻게 개선해야 하는지 방법을 제안한다.

  • Miraculous victory of Myeongnyang sea battle turned the tide of the Joseon's entire war against Japan and it is regarded as one of the most remarkable sea victories in the world history. In the sea battle of Myeongnyang, on September 16, 1597(lunar calender), the Joseon navy with 13 battle ships, led by Admiral Yi Sun-sin, won the Japanese navy with their fleet of 133 warships. There were several reasons why Admiral Yi decided on this location for battle. Myeongnyang strait is so narrow and had currents so powerful that many ships could not pass strait simultaneously. Therefore, despite being vastly outnumbered, Admiral Yi used terrain and tidal current advantage to defeat Japanese navy's numerical advantage. In order to find out the tidal state of Myeongnyang strait on September 16, 1597, topological phase of sun and moon was studied by orbital period of earth and moon. The tidal state of Myeongnyang strait on September 16, 1597 is estimated based on the theories of tide and tide tables. As a result of this study, time of slack water were found to be 0636, 1248, 1906 and time/speed of maximum tidal current were found to be 0930/8.3kts(NW), 1612/9.9kts(SE).

Korean Medical Doctor Shin Hong-Gyun's Life and His Independence Movement (신홍균(신홍균(申洪均): 개명(改名) 신흘(申屹), 신굴(申矻)) 한의사의 생애와 독립운동)

  • Shin Hong-Gyun and his family have been in medicine for many generations as Korean Medical Doctors (KMDs). In 1919 when Shin Hong-Gyun was participating in an independence movement in Jang-Baek-Hyun, his younger brother Shin Dong-Gyun was killed by Japanese military police forces. This tragic incident triggered Shin Hong-Gyun to establish an army for national independence called , holding 200 young men, to serve in armed struggle against the Japanese Government with Kim Jung-Geon in May, 1920. In March 1933, Shin Hong-Gyun, as a military surgeon, led his men to the Korean Independence Army to fight a battle. Once he became a member of the Korean Independence Army, he, in fact, participated in few battles: Sadohaja, Dong-Kyung-Sung, Deajeonjayeong. Daejeonjayeong was a waypoint that the Japanese military needed to pass through in order to reach the Wangcheong area. Shin Hong-Gyun's independence forces had to endure painful starvation and heavy rain while hiding in ambush for long periods of time until the Japanese military would appear. Due to its summer rainy season, rainwater overflowed into their trenches and was filled up to the waist. Even worse, food stockpiles were low and the Japanese army did not appear for longer time. Shin Hong-Gyun's entire team suffered severe hunger and extreme cold. At this critical moment, Shin Hong-Gyun used his expertise as a KMD to find edible black mushrooms that grow wild in the mountains and use them to feed his men. This event led to the victory of the independence army at the battle of Daejeonjayeong. The purpose of the paper is to inform and highlight the forgotten history of Shin Hong-Gyun who was, both, a Korean Medical Doctor and a military surgeon.

Explosion Bulge Test of 800 MPa Grade Pre-Heat Free Welding Consumables (800 MPa급 무예열 용접재료의 폭파변형시험)

  • The Cu-bearing PFS-700 steel which has yield strength over 700 MPa was developed to replace the existing submarine structural material, HY-100. PFS-700 steel has good combination of mechanical properties and superior weldability which can be welded without pre-heating before welding. Application PFS-700 steel to submarine or battle ship will give a great reduction of cost by removing or lowing pre-heating. To develop pre-heat free welding consumables that matches and take advantage of PFS-700 steel, new welding consumables have been designed for the GMAW, SAW processes and explosion bulge test(EBT) were conducted to see the reliability of welded structure. All welding was conducted without pre-heating before welding, the inter-pass temperatures were below $50^{\circ}C$ for SAW50 and $150^{\circ}C$ for GMAW and SAW150. All EBT specimens show over 14% reduction of thickness without through-thickness crack or propagation of crack to the hole-down area. Tensile properties for all welding conditions show higher(GMAW) or similar values(SAW50, SAW150) to the base metal. Charpy impact values for the weld metal also show 163.5J(GMAW), 95.4J(SAW50) and 69.0J(SAW150), which meet the goal, 50J, of this project.

  • Big data is expected to bring forth enormous public good as well as economic opportunity. However there is ongoing concern about privacy not only from public authorities but also from private enterprises. Big data is suspected to aggravate the existing privacy battle ground by introducing new types of privacy risks such as privacy risk of behavioral pattern. On the other hand, big data is asserted to become a new way to by-pass tradition behavioral tracking such as cookies, DPIs, finger printing${\cdots}$ and etc. For it is not based on a targeted person. This paper is to find out if big data could contribute to catching out behavioral patterns of consumers without threatening or damaging their privacy. The difference between traditional behavioral tracking and big data analysis from the perspective of privacy will be discerned.
