The runoff coefficient for a block paved area is determined with regional rainfall distribution. The Rational Method is a basic equation of a drainage system design and is a function of runoff coefficient, rainfall intensity and area. A runoff coefficient is the ratio of rainfall intensity and runoff. The rainfall intensity which is a function of the return period and rainfall duration differs by region. Therefore the runoff coefficient varies regionally even though there is the same return period and rainfall duration. The ratio of rainfall intensity and rainfall duration is decided by the loss of rainfall. The constant infiltration capacity of Horton's equation is adopted to determine the loss of rainfall. As time passed, the joint of the block paved area through which the infiltration occurs is covered by pollution material, sandy dust, pollen and is hardened by foot pressure, so the constant infiltration capacity may decrease. Six different sites were selected to verify the assumption of the constant infiltration capacity decrease and 10 year return period. 10, 20, and 30 minute rainfall duration were applied to calculate rainfall intensity. The results indicate that the Horton's constant infiltration capacity decreases over time and the minimum constant infiltration capacity is selected to compute runoff coefficients. The runoff coefficients varied by region ranging from $0.94{\sim}0.84$ for 10 minute of rainfall duration.

A heavy ion accelerator is a device that accelerates heavy ions in the radio frequency (RF) range. The electric field that flows into the RF cavity continuously accelerates heavy ions in accordance with the phase of the input electromagnetic wave. For the purpose, it is necessary to design a coupler shape that can stably transfer the RF wave into the cavity. The RF coupler in a heavy ion accelerator has a large temperature difference between the input port and output port, which radiates the RF waves. It is necessary to consider the heat deflection on the RF coupler that occurs as a result of the rapid temperature gradient from an ultra-low temperature about 0 K to a room temperature about 300 K. The purpose of this study was to improve the system performance through an analysis of the intensity of the output electric field and temperature distribution considering various shapes of the RF coupler, along with an analysis of the durability considering the heat deflection and heat loss.

There are several basic classes of recycling methods for FRP boats. The main one is 'Mechanical recycling' which involves shredding and grinding of the scrap FRP in a new product. That is one of the simpler and more technically proven methods. It recently has been reported that FRP can be recycled by separating into layers instead of crushing into powder. Many researchers should be more interested in these mechanical recycling for the eligibility. Nevertheless, because resins is very useful renewable energy, most of waste FRP regenerating methods depend on incineration (reclamation) or thermal recycling (pyrolysis). FRP is made up of laminated glass- fiber (roving cloth layer) which is also very unlikely to break into each layer. If there is an extracting method which is efficient and environment friendly removing glass fiber from waste FRP, it should also solve the another urgent problem. Laminated glass-fiber which is very limited renewable, is a serious barrier to wast FRP boat regenerating. This study is to propose a new extracting method which is efficient and environment friendly waste FRP regenerating system. And it should be applied to renewable energy applications with the waste resins of FRP. Also recycling glass fiber obtained by the separation of the roving layer from waste FRP will be consider to be useful for concrete products or structures.
Purpose - Although various studies have been conducted on the stress of service employees, there are still lack of studies regarding job stress and job satisfaction of call center workers. Especially there are quite few studies on the job stress according to employment type. This study focused on job stress and job satisfaction for call center employees and the correlation between the two factors and aimed to provide basic materials for seeking for the plans to reduce job stress and improve job satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - Frequency, percentage, and mean value were calculated through descriptive statistics in order to find out demographic characteristics, level of job stress, and job satisfaction. Differences in job stress according to employment type were calculated by using one-way ANOVA. Correlation between job stress and job satisfaction were identified through empirical analysis with Pearson's correlation coefficient. 150 materials were used for final analysis. The collected materials were analyzed to get statistics by using SPSS 20. Results - First, as for the job stress of call center workers, overall mean value was 2.54 in 4-point scales. Among the six sub-factors, job demands had the highest score, which was 2.67. Second, as for the job stress according to employment type, others showed higher score than mean value followed by contract job and full-time job in that order, in terms of job insecurity and organizational system. In terms of inappropriate remuneration, contract job showed higher score than mean value followed by others and full-time job. Third, as for the satisfaction with job, the mean value was 2.37 in 4-point scale and "very much satisfied" was only 3.3%. Lastly, in terms of job stress and job satisfaction, all sub-factors except for job demands showed significant correlation. The more job stress increased, the more job satisfaction decreased. Conclusions - First, as a result of analyzing job stress according to the employment type of call center workers, job stress increased more when the employment type was not full-time. Therefore, it was assumed that self-rescue efforts should be followed for effective employment management of call center business where contract employment takes most part as well as efforts to transfer them to full-time job. Second, decrease in job satisfaction of call center workers may affect the performance of an organization as well as service quality of the company providing the service. Therefore, various supports are required to decrease job stress and increase job satisfaction for call center workers through the expansion of rest area or break time. Third, I could recognize that there were lack of academic research on call center business in the whole service industry. Therefore, further research should be conducted more actively in the future. In particular, this study has special significance in the aspect that there were few studies on the job stress of call center workers according to employment type.

Numerical studies have been carried out on scrubbers, which are after-treatment devices to satisfy strengthened emission regulations for sulfur dioxide and particulate matter. We investigated the problems with existing scrubbers through numerical analysis and designed and analyzed a new swirl-type scrubber that could solve these problems. As a result, with the swirl-type scrubber, exhaust gas formed a vortex in the lower part of the device, and some of this gas was released along the guide vane through the bottom surface. In this case, the pressure gradient in the vertical direction was not large, but a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the baffle was generated. The shape of the exhaust gas stream was investigated, and when water was not sprayed, the exhaust gas flowed constantly to the outlet along the guide vane, in contrast to when water was sprayed. It was confirmed that the shape of the flow was influenced by the guide vane, nozzle arrangement and water pressure. In the case of the swirl-type scrubber, impact on engine back-pressure was minimal, because differential pressure at the inlet and outlet was less than half of that with a conventional scrubber.
Allocated water storage of dam at the planning and design stage does not seem to be maintained well at the operation stage because of unexpected critical reasons. A dam is likely to be subject to negative effects caused by changes of dam operation conditions and it is hardly avoidable. Therefore, it must be timely improved to recover its original functions and looked for better alternatives to keep its original roles. Specifically the improper management of river condition degrades flood control capability in a dam and river eco-system. The dam downstream river improvement work is needed for normalizing dam functions and its valuations. This study focuses on estimating water use benefits from recovering its own effective storage buffer restricted for flood control. As the results, the water supply and the hydropower benefits in Imha, Daechung and Youngdam Dam are recovered totally by 19.9 million $m^3$/year and 20.8 GWh/year respectively. Also those results are used for the basic information of the economic analysis in the dam downstream river improvement work.
Traffic data such as traffic volume, speed, and vehicle Class are very important basic data for the plan and design of highway. Based on traffic data, the future service level of a specific highway and geometry of newly constructed or expended road is predicted and determined. The Ministry of Construction & Transportation has simultaneously surveyed coverage count and permanent count at highways since 1985. Traffic volume survey sections were determined at jointed nodes of highways and jointed nodes of highways and other roads such as freeway and local highway. Volume survey was performed at these sections. The premise to decide these sections is assumed that links between jointed nodes of main highways exhibit similar traffic characteristics. Recently, due to the change of highway geometries such as construction of detour road and installations of traffic facilities such as installation of media, traffic characteristics of the existing traffic volume survey sections was changed. To reflect these changes, traffic characteristics at homogeneous road sections was widely evaluated and analyzed. Using Genetic Algorithms, a model was developed for the evaluation of traffic characteristics at homogeneous road sections. Traffic volume survey sections were then determined through the application of the developed model for current traffic system.

In this study, to provide basic information for design of a large-scale recycling system for fishery by-products, the food nutrient components, fertilizer components, and microbial composition of fertilizers and feed which were made of fishery by-products were analyzed before and after fermentation. The results of the analysis of the edible portion of fishery by-products indicated that calories per 100 g of crustaceans were the highest followed by those of fish and brown algae in order of precedence with values as follows; Korean Krill 94 Kcal, Portunus trituberculatus 65 Kcal, Lophiomus setigerus 58 Kcal, and Undaria pinnatifida 16 Kcal. As for changes in amino acids per 100 g of fishery by-products between before and after fermentation, calories per 100 g of P. trituberculatus decreased by 74.7% from 15.7 g to 4.0 g, that of L. setigerus decreased by 61.1% from 11.9 g to 4.6 g, that of Korean Krill decreased by 53.5% from 11.6 g to 5.4 g, and that of U. pinnatifida decreased by 49.4% from 1.7 g to 0.9 g. Among amino acids, those contained in fishery by-product fertilizers (liquid fertilizer) in large amounts were shown to be Glutaminic acid, Aspartic acid, Glycine, Lysin, and Leucine. The lipid content of Korean Krill decreased by 11.9% from 3.2 g to 2.8 g, that of L. setigerus increased by 2.0 times from 1.1 g to 2.2 g, that of P. trituberculatus increased by 4.5 times from 0.4 g to 1.7 g, and that of U. pinnatifida increased by 9.4 times from 0.2 g to 1.9 g. The ash (mineral) content of P. trituberculatus decreased by 82.5% from 26.2 g to 4.6 g, that of U. pinnatifida increased by 27.6% from 3.3 g to 4.2 g, that of Korean Krill increased by 21.9% from 3.1 g to 3.8 g, and that of L. setigerus increased by 88.7% from 1.2 g to 2.2 g. The microbial composition of liquid fertilizer using recycled fishery by-products was shown to be Bacteria, Actinomycetes, Fungi, Yeast, and Lactobacillus sp.
The Main payload of the STSAT-3 (Korea Science & Technology Satellite-3), MIRIS (Multipurpose Infra-Red Imaging System) has been developed for last 3 years by KASI, and its Flight Model (FM) is now being developed as the final stage. All optical lenses and the opto-mechanical components of the FM have been completely fabricated with slight modifications that have been made to some components based on the Engineering Qualification Model (EQM) performances. The components of the telescope have been assembled and the test results show its optical performances are acceptable for required specifications in visual wavelength (@633 nm) at room temperature. The ensuing focal plane integration and focus test will be made soon using the vacuum chamber. The MIRIS mechanical structure of the EQM has been modified to develop FM according to the performance and environment test results. The filter-wheel module in the cryostat was newly designed with Finite Element Analysis (FEM) in order to compensate for the vibration stress in the launching conditions. Surface finishing of all components were also modified to implement the thermal model for the passive cooling technique. The FM electronics design has been completed for final fabrication process. Some minor modifications of the electronics boards were made based on EQM test performances. The ground calibration tests of MIRIS FM will be made with the science grade Teledyne PICNIC IR-array.

The design of efficient cryptosystems is mainly appointed by the efficiency of the underlying finite field arithmetic. Especially, among the basic arithmetic over finite field, the rnultiplicative inversion is the most time consuming operation. In this paper, a fast inversion algerian in finite field $GF(2^m)$ with the standard basis representation is proposed. It is based on the Extended binary gcd algorithm (EBGA). The proposed algorithm executes about $18.8\%\;or\;45.9\%$ less iterations than EBGA or Montgomery inverse algorithm (MIA), respectively. In practical applications where the dimension of the field is large or may vary, systolic array sDucture becomes area-complexity and time-complexity costly or even impractical in previous algorithms. It is not suitable for low-weight and low-power systems, i.e., smartcard, the mobile phone. In this paper, we propose a new hardware architecture to apply an area-efficient and a synchronized inverter on low-complexity systems. It requires the number of addition and reduction operation less than previous architectures for computing the inverses in $GF(2^m)$ furthermore, the proposed inversion is applied over either prime or binary extension fields, more specially $GF(2^m)$ and GF(P) .
