고 에너지 방사선 치료실의 차폐계산과 누출선량의 측정 (Measurement of Leakage and Design for the Protective Barrier of the High Energy Radiation Therapy Room)

  • 방사선 치료를 위한 의료용 13 MeV 선형가속기를 설치 사용함에 따라 종사자에 대한 피폭방어를 비롯한 제반 설비구조의 설계가 중요하므로 저자들은 방사선 차폐벽과 시설구조를 법에 정해진 최대허용선량을 초과하지 않도록 계산하여 건축했으며 고에너지 선형가속기를 가동한 이후 실재 누출선량과 종사자의 피폭량을 측정하여 상호 검토하였다. 1) 방어벽의 계산은 NCRP #34 (1970)을 기초로 하였으며 이것이 가장 간단한 방법이고 경제적이었다. 2) 가속기 가동이후의 차폐벽으로부터 누출된 선량측정치는 계산에 의해 계획된 누출선량치의 약 $\frac{1}{5}$로 줄었으며 이는 치료환자의 수와 가장 안전한 수치를 사용했기 때문이었다. 3) 가속기에 의하여 방사선을 발생시키고 있는 동안 출입문 밖과 조종실 내에서의 누출선량율은 2-10mR/hr이었다. 4) 장시간 방사선을 발생시키거나 공기 조절장치의 성능이 약해졌을 때 치료실내의 오존냄새가 예측 의외로 심하였다.

모바일 소셜커머스 앱의 충성의도와 전환의도에 따른 시장세분화 -지각된 서비스 품질과 전환장벽의 차이- (Market Segmentation by Loyalty and Switching Intentions of Mobile Social Commerce Apps -Differences in Perceived Service Quality and Switching Barriers-)

  • Mobile shopping has spread rapidly in the consumer's daily life, and numerous fashion companies have now launched a mobile shopping application. By focusing on mobile social commerce apps, this study was to: (a) segment consumers based on loyalty and switching intentions, (b) to test differences in perceived service quality and switching barrier factors among segments, and (c) examine the effects of perceived service quality and switching barriers on loyalty intention. A total of 550 responses were obtained from mobile users in their 20s to 40s who purchased fashion products through a social commerce app in the last six months. Consumers were classified into four clusters: split-loyals, latent loyals, habitual loyals, and switchers. The split-loyal group showed the highest level of mean scores on perceived service quality and switching barrier factors; however, the switcher group showed the lowest mean scores. Of service qualities, app design had a significant effect on loyalty intentions in both split-loyal and latent loyal groups; the factors of ease of use and privacy had significant effects on loyalty intentions in switchers. Of switching barrier factors, virtual relationship had the most strongly effect on loyalty intention for the four segments.

유가 연계 파생결합증권의 특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on Properties of Crude Oil Based Derivative Linked Security)

  • Purpose - This paper aims to investigate the properties of crude oil based derivative security (DLS) focusing on step-down type for comprehensive understanding of its risk. Design/methodology/approach - Kernel estimation is conducted to figure out statistical feature of the process of oil price. We simulate oil price paths based on kernel estimation results and derive probabilities of hitting the barrier and early redemption. Findings - The amount of issuance for crude oil based DLS is relatively low when base prices are below $40 while it is high when base prices are around $60 or $100, which is not consistent with kernel estimation results showing that oil futures prices tend to revert toward $46.14 and the mean-reverting speed is faster as oil price is lower. The analysis based on simulated oil price paths reveals that probability of early redemption is below 50% for DLS with high base prices and the ratio of the probability of early redemption to the probability of hitting barrier is remarkably low compared to the case for DLS with low base prices, as the chance of early redemption is deferred. Research implications or Originality - Empirical results imply that the level of the base price is a crucial factor of the risk for DLS, thus introducing a time-varying knock-in barrier, which is similar to adjust the base price, merits consideration to enhance protection for DLS investors.

에너지 흡수용 알루미늄 허니컴 재료의 압축거동 분석 및 설계 (An Analysis of Axial Crushing Behavior of Energy Absorbing Aluminum Honeycomb and Design of Cell Configuration)

  • The mechanical properties of aluminum honeycomb on the direction of axial crushing under quasistatic loading test was investigated. The crushing process was simulated numerically by full-scale finite element models. Simulations reproduce the experimental results both qualitatively as well as quantitatively. From the investigation, we suggested the constitutive model of energy absorbing honeycomb structure for large scale impact analysis. Real impact test of the WB(Moving Deformable Barrier) was carried and compared with finite element simulation. Constitutive model used in the numerical simulation had a good correlation with experiment. By suggesting the optimizing method fur honeycomb cell configuration design, relationship between cell configuration and crush strength is studied.

  • This paper describes an approach to design a interior permanent magnet motor(IPM motor) for the reduction of cogging torque. The magnitude of the torque ripple and cogging torque in a interior permanent magnet motor(IPM motor) are generally dependent on several major factors: the shape of stator tooth tip, slot opening width, air gap length, the shape of barrier preventing flux leakage of magnets, magnet configuration and magnetization distribution or magnet poles. In this paper, the IPM BLDC motor is designed considering a saturated leakag flux between the barriers on the rotor for increasing the efficiency and decreasing the magnitude of the cogging torque. Analytical model is developed for the IPM BLDC motor with a concentrated winding stator. The results verifies that the proposed design approach is very efficient and effective in reducing the cogging torque and the torque ripple of the IPM BLDC motor to be used in an electric vehicle.

  • The structure of hard disk drive(HDD) is excited by dynamic motion of a disk-spindle motor, and it makes sound noise. Therefore, the cover and the base of HDD should be designed to reduce noise and vibration induced by spindle motor. The prediction technique of sound pressure level(SPL) of a given structural shape enables us to design a cover and a base with much less vibration and noise. In this paper, we measured the force of disk-spindle motor and predicted SPL from HDD by computational simulation. To get a SPL of HDD by computational simulation, modal analysis and forced vibration analysis were performed with ANSYS, and sound radiation was computed using SYSNOISE. The calculated results were compared with experimental results and a good agreement was obtained. With this computer simulation procedure and design of experiment(DOE), optimal thickness of noise barrier and damper was calculated.

  • 실제적인 문제에서 신뢰성 기반 최적 설계(RBDO)를 구현하기 위해서는 유한요소 모델을 해석하기 위한 상용 프로그램과 설계한 것에 대한 신뢰성을 산정할 수 있는 프로그램을 통합하고 최적화 알고리듬을 적용하여야 최적화를 수행하여야만 한다. 또한 최적화 과정에서 최적상태에서 제약조건이 비활성 영역에서 놓이게 되는 것을 방지하기 위해서 제약조건 최적화 문제를 비제약 조건 최적화 문제로 바꾸어 주는 장애 함수를 사용하여 최적화를 수행하였다. 그리고 이 방법론을 기존의 신뢰성기반 최적화 방법론, 즉 신뢰도지수 접근방법과 목표성능치 접근방법과의 비교를 하였다.

  • There are various walking devices based on Theo Jansen mechanism. And these systems controlled by complicate equations. So we decided to optimize the design of walking device with two points of view. The device is required to ensure stability while maintaining the high speed. To simplify the control system, we applied trigonometric ratio with ideal Jansen trajectory. As a result, we were able to draw the connection between height of barrier and Ground Length (GL). Also we could change traveling distance and Ground Angle Coefficient (GAC) by shifting the position of the joints. Through controlling these parameter, we can analyze stability and speed of the device. Ultimately, we develop the device that can walk more efficiently by the optimization process.

광 정보저장 드라이브의 동적 특성 해석 (Analysis on the Dynamic Characteristics of an Optical Storage Drive)

  • The modern trends of optical storage devices can be characterized by high density in information recording, and high bandwidth in data input/output processing rate. These make servo engineers to face with a new barrier on control system design in much more difficult way. The first step to attack this barrier will be through a systematic modeling for the dynamic characteristics of optical storage drive. in this paper, an analytical dynamic model for an optical storage drive based on FEM is drived, and compared with experimental results. Through this comparison, a practical dynamic model on the focusing and tracking motion of optical storage drive is proposed for the initiation of real control system design problem.

중공트랙형 단면의 프리캐스트 에코필라 사방댐 공법개발 (Development of Precast Concrete Method for Eco-Pillar Debris Barrier with Hollow Cross-Section)

  • 본 연구에서는 현장타설 콘크리트를 사용하는 친환경 에코필라 사방댐의 시공성과 경제성을 향상시키기 위해 프리캐스트공법을 제안하고 성능검증을 수행하였다. 강재를 이용한 사방댐 형식은 공사비가 높고 부식으로 인한 환경문제도 발생하고 있어, 최근에는 콘크리트를 이용한 친환경 사방댐의 설치가 늘고 있다. 그러나 국내에서 사방댐 설계기준으로 명확하게 제시된 자료가 없어 경험적으로 설계되고 있을 뿐 아니라 에코필라 사방댐에 대한 기준은 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서 에코필라 사방댐의 설계외력 산정방법에 대해 제안하고 중공트랙형 단면을 적용하여 설계를 수행하였다. 또한, 구조적으로 비교적 간단한 캔틸레버 기둥으로 최대 휨모멘트가 작용하며 프리캐스트 공법의 핵심기술이라 할 수 있는 연결부 공법을 3가지로 제안하고 실물모형 실험을 통해 성능검증을 수행하였다. 실험결과, 루프철근 이음을 적용한 실험체가 가장 큰 강성을 보였고 앵커철근으로 연결된 실험체가 작은 값을 보였으나, 제시된 3가지 형태의 연결공법은 모두 극한하중에 따른 최대 휨모멘트를 충분히 넘어서는 성능을 나타내었다. 실물 실험체의 제작과정에서 각 공법에 대한 시공성에 대해 검토한 결과 앵커식 연결방법이 가장 우수한 것으로 평가되었다.
