  • 구조설계기준에서, 슬래브의 최대 펀칭전단응력은 연직하중에 의한 직접전단과 불균형모멘트에 의한 편심전단의 조합응력으로 규정하고 있다. 이것은 슬래브에 작용하는 펀칭전단응력에 불균형모멘트의 영향을 반영한 것이다. 그러나 부재의 저항성능 즉 펀칭전단강도에는 슬래브의 불균형모멘트강도 영향을 전혀 고려하고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 펀칭전단-불균형모멘트 상관모델을 제시하고 이를 2차원으로 표현하였다. 상관모델을 통하여, 슬래브의 펀칭전단강도를 결정하는데 있어 불균형 모멘트강도를 어떻게 반영할 것인지에 대한 방안을 제시하였으며 전단보강재가 불균형모멘트강도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 이를 구조설계에 반영하기 위한 유효폭확대계수의 적용을 제안하였다.

Design of a Hybrid Controller for the Three-phase Four-leg Voltage-source Inverter with Unbalanced Load

  • The three-phase four-leg voltage-source inverter topology is an interesting option for the three-phase four-wire system. With an additional leg, this topology can achieve superior performance under unbalanced and nonlinear load conditions. However, because of the low bandwidth of conventional controllers in high-power inverter applications, the system cannot guarantee a balanced output voltage under the unbalanced load condition. Most of the methods proposed to solve this problem mainly use the multiple synchronous frame method, which requires several controllers and a large amount of computation because of frame transformation. This study proposes a simple hybrid controller that combines proportional-integral (PI) and resonant controllers in the synchronous frame synchronized with the positive-sequence component of the output voltage of the three-phase four-leg inverter. The design procedure for the controller and the theoretical analysis are presented. The performance of the proposed method is verified by the experimental results and compared with that of the conventional PI controller.

  • A new droop control method which can be applied to 3-phase 4-wire uninterruptible power supply is proposed in this paper. The droop control method for parallel operation is very attractive one as UPS parallel operation can be carried out without any data communication devices provided among UPS systems connected, but it reportedly shows a PnP(plug-and-play) problem. A basic reason why a circulating current could flow among parallel-connected UPS systems is clearly investigated as well when droop-controlled-ups systems are operated in the manner of PnP. The proposed algorithm is deduced from the investigated result and is basically structured to keep a balanced frequency and balanced voltage profile against power variation. This paper shows that balanced parallel operation of droop control method can be obtained under unbalanced load as well as balanced load conditions when PnP operation is needed and load change occurs.

An Linear Bottleneck Assignment Problem (LBAP) Algorithm Using the Improving Method of Solution for Linear Minsum Assignment Problem (LSAP)

  • In this paper, we propose a simple linear bottleneck assignment problems (LBAP) algorithm to find the optimal solution. Generally, the LBAP has been solved by threshold or augmenting path algorithm. The primary characteristic of proposed algorithm is derived the optimal solution of LBAP from linear sum assignment problem (LSAP). Firstly, we obtains the solution for LSAP from the selected minimum cost of rows and moves the duplicated costs in row to unselected row with minimum increasing cost in direct and indirect paths. Then, we obtain the optimal solution of LBAP according to the maximum cost of LSAP can be move to less cost. For the 29 balanced and 7 unbalanced problem, this algorithm finds optimal solution as simple.

무게중심 찾기 과제 수행과정에서 나타난 아동의 행위와 이론 (The Actions Used by Children's and Their Underlying Theories whilst Engaged in Balance Tasks)

  • This study attempted to analyze in detail the actions used by children and to uncover the theories used by those children whilst engaged in solving balance tasks. Sixty children, aged between 3 to 6 from "H" child care center located in Seoul were selected as the subjects. The children were asked to balance 8 different blocks by putting them on a bar one by one. Two of the 8 blocks were balanced by the center of the length of the block, two were unbalanced by the center of the length because another block is glued on the side of the bottom block, three blocks were unbalanced due to the insertion of a piece of metal in the side of the blocks, and one was completely unbalanced because it consisted of three layers of blocks glued obliquely. Fifteen actions undertaken by the children in solving the tasks were analyzed and divided into 6 categories : place, turning, push, press, support, and others. Children used three theories which were 'no theories', 'length centered theory' and 'considered both length and weight theory' whilst engaged in balance tasks.

  • This paper examines the application of high voltage static var compensator(SVC) with cascade multilevel inverter which employs H-bridge inverter(HBI). A new switching scheme is developed for the SVC system. To improve the unbalanced problem of the DC capacitor voltages, the rotated switching scheme of fundamental frequency is newly used. The optimized fundamental switching pattern with low switching frequency is adapted to be suitable for high application. The selective harmonic elimination method(SHEM) allows to keep the total harmonic distortion(THD) low in the output voltage of multilevel inverter. The SVC system is modeled using the d-q transform which calculates the instantaneous reactive power. This model is used to design a controller and analyze the SVC system. Simulated and experimental results are also presented and discussed to validate the proposed schemes.

Application of Multiple Parks Vector Approach for Detection of Multiple Faults in Induction Motors

  • The Park's vector of stator current is a popular technique for the detection of induction motor faults. While the detection of the faulty condition using the Park's vector technique is easy, the classification of different types of faults is intricate. This problem is overcome by the Multiple Park's Vector (MPV) approach proposed in this paper. In this technique, the characteristic fault frequency component (CFFC) of stator winding faults, rotor winding faults, unbalanced voltage and bearing faults are extracted from three phase stator currents. Due to constructional asymmetry, under the healthy condition these characteristic fault frequency components are unbalanced. In order to balanced them, a correction factor is added to the characteristic fault frequency components of three phase stator currents. Therefore, the Park's vector pattern under the healthy condition is circular in shape. This pattern is considered as a reference pattern under the healthy condition. According to the fault condition, the amplitude and phase of characteristic faults frequency components changes. Thus, the pattern of the Park's vector changes. By monitoring the variation in multiple Park's vector patterns, the type of fault and its severity level is identified. In the proposed technique, the diagnosis of faults is immune to the effects of unbalanced voltage and multiple faults. This technique is verified on a 7.5 hp three phase wound rotor induction motor (WRIM). The experimental analysis is verified by simulation results.

  • This paper presents the algorithm of the compensation of the grid current distortion caused by the grid voltage unbalance and distortion in 3-phase bi-directional DC to AC inverter. Usually 3-phase grid system has unbalance and distortion because of connecting 1-phase and non-linear load with 3-phase load using same input node. Controlling 3-phase inverter by general method under the unbalanced and distorted grid voltage, the grid current has distortion. This distortion of the grid current cause the grid voltage distortion again. So, it need to control the grid current balanced and non-distorted, even the grid voltage gets unbalanced and distorted. There are some complex method to compensate the gird current distortion. it sugest simple method to solve the problem. PSIM simulation is used to validate the proposed algorithm.

  • High-dimensional survival data with large numbers of predictors has become more common. The analysis of such data can be facilitated if the dimensions of predictors are adequately reduced. Recent studies show that a method called sliced inverse regression (SIR) is an effective dimension reduction tool in high-dimensional survival regression. However, it faces incapability in implementation due to a double categorization procedure. This problem can be overcome in the right-censoring type by transforming the observed survival time and censoring status into a single variable. This provides more flexibility in the categorization, so the applicability of SIR can be enhanced. Numerical studies show that the proposed transforming approach is equally good to (or even better) than the usual SIR application in both balanced and highly-unbalanced censoring status. The real data example also confirms its practical usefulness, so the proposed approach should be an effective and valuable addition to usual statistical practitioners.

정보 검색 시스템 평가를 위한 균형 테스트 컬렉션 구축 (Construction of a Balanced Test Collection for Evaluation of Information Retrieval System)

  • 검색 시스템들의 평가를 위해 국내에서도 테스트 컬렉션에 관한 여러 연구가 진행되어왔다. 그러나 그 규모나 대상 분야가 편중되어 있고 질의 및 문헌 특성의 균형 등에 대한 고려가 반영되어 있지 않아 평가 결과를 객관화하기는 사실상 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 분야별, 사용자별 균형을 고려한 대규모 테스트 컬렉션인 HANTEC에 대해 기술한다. HANTEC 테스트 컬렉션은 총 12만 건의 문헌집합으로 구성되었는데 일반, 사회과학, 과학기술 각 분야별 4만 건씩으로 특정 분야에 편중되지 않도록 하였고 질의집합도 각 분야별 10개씩 30개로 구성하였다.
