In Korea, EMS Fund Operation seems to move the opposite direction to right way. The most initial EMS fund was consumed loan for some emergency patients without any particular results. Since 2002, the use of EMS fund also has shown a tendency to shift one side. By the results, it was 44.3% to support emergency medical centers, so called hospital EMS system and 28.4% to purchase ambulances and helicopters, and 1.6% to operate Central Medical Center, prehospital base in the EMS fund consumed in 2004. It was never supported for the environmental improvement and development of universities, colleges, and private EMS units having the primary responsibilities. The initial EMS fund using should be used for prehospital base, e.g., prehospital staffs, communications, and facilities and balanced development between public and private EMS units than any other fund using.

The objective of this study is to lead balanced development of tourism industry by proving the nature of customer service which is one of the service characters as well as ultimate goal of tourism industry. This paper contains a few case studies of service industry customer service and proposed desirable development plan. This study tried differentiate customer service from management side in its role. Meanwhile, management and tourism industry integration, partly in the service channel, is a task to be studied continuously in terms of customer satisfaction. Customer service should utilize for social welfare and improving the firm's competitiveness in the tourism industry

It is needed to evaluate information systems actively which has already developed to improve future performance of the organization and foster the activation of information system. The introduction or development of information system also can bring about a organizational success. To measure exactly the organizational performance of information systems, it is needed to develop a new valuation model for a specific information system from a objective pint of view, as well as to equip a standard methodology using BSC measurement. The information system valuation from a objective point of view is of importance as the basic information for the decision to obtain information system. This paper takes aim at investigating a new information system valuation model and developing a information system valuation system using case-based reasoning for predicting currency value of information system in each organization. A new information system valuation system is developed as a web-enabling base. Using this, users are able to estimate the value of specific information system on a real time efficiently.

This paper is devoted to the development and performance evaluation of a hard bearing type balancing machine for rigid rotors. The pedestals of the balancing machine are designed to be rigid to be rigid enough to enable the balancing to operate far below the fundamental critical speed. The force measuring method is implemented to the balancing machine. The forces due to unbalance are measured through load cell that are attached to the pedestals. A helical coupling is used for transmitting the driving force from an AC servo motor to the rotor to be balanced. The experimental results show that the current hard bearing type balancing machine can indicate the presence of unbalance beyond 1 .mu. m in specific unbalance unit. The limitation of the current balancing machine is due to the coupling that is likely to make inconsistent offset errors everytime the rotor is connected to the machine.

The risk management is an organized method for identifying and measuring risk and for selecting, developing, and implementing options for the handling of risk. The risk management covers all programatic and technical factors which affect the system development performance, cost, and schedule. While technical issues are primary concern for systems engineering, the three elements(performance, cost, and schedule) must be balanced for a successful risk management process. This paper proposes the risk management process for the KSLV-I(Korea Space Launch Vehicle-I) program using computer-aided systems engineering tool, Cradle. The risk management process of KSLV-I program is similar to the general risk management process, but it has its own specific features to manage large-scale complex characteristics of KSLV-I program.

The study suggests the possibility of using internet of things for a dietary intake survey. The development scenario of the dietary intake survey was composed of a weighing sensor for measuring food weight, bluetooth module for communicating through smart-phones, and smart-phone application. The weighing sensor attached to the bottom of utensils was designed to measure the weight of initial food & food eaten, and the results were transmitted to the smart-phone through the bluetooth module. The exclusive application in the smart-phone displayed the results of the amount of food intake, calorie intake, and eating rate. Through this system, subjects could continuously monitor their dietary intake & eating rate and recognize their actual eating environment, which leads to prevent overconsumption of food intake & form balanced eating habits. Based on this system, we need to consolidate and develop a weight control program.

A sustainable development in science, innovation, and technology requires a balanced distribution of scientific wealth in sub-country regions. This paper addresses the issue of geographical distribution of scientific wealth and its goal is to offer a framework to describe and measure the share of provinces in national scientific wealth. Our proposed model divides the indicators of scientific wealth into two groups, production and the use of scientific wealth. To evaluate this model, the scientific wealth of Iran was studied using recorded data on IRANDOC databases. Rich, average, and poor provinces were identified and the results showed that 70% of the scientific wealth belongs to 20% of the provinces. The findings can facilitate planning for a sustainable science and technology policy.

In order to develop a deep-underground great train express (GTX) in South Korea, the specifications decision and development of a traction control system (including an inverter and a traction motor), which considers a variety of route conditions, must be advanced. In this study, we examined the running resistance properties of a high-speed traction system based on a variety of tunnel types and vehicle organization methods. Then, we studied the power requirements necessary for the traction motor to maintain balanced speed in the high-speed traction system. From this, we determined the design criteria for the development of a high-speed traction system for use in the deep-underground GTX. Finally, we designed a linear induction motor (LIM) for a propulsion system, and we used the finite element method (FEM) to analyze its performance as it travelled through deep-underground tunnels.

There has been great effect on development and usage of resources as well as technological development including everyday life pattern to maintain environmental sustainability, Also, It is tend to become negative for people's concern of nature ecosystem toward new technological developments because it is neither environmentally, nor naturally friendly. Therefore, our study is to implement expert education and research system which includes the trends and requests of our society with objectives as follows; First, Training industrial technology and policy maker who can understand and practice ecological ethics. Second, Educating people with expertise which can evaluate and complement the environmental friendliness about new industrial technologies. Third, Educating people who can develop technology which is environmentally friendly. Our new program requires various knowledges and balanced point of view. To this end, students are required to understand field of art and sciences including emerging eco-buddhism subject as well as field of state-of-the art environmental technologies such as recycling technology and clean production technology.
