In this paper, microstrip stepped-impedance hairpin resonator (SIR) lowpass filter f.PF) by surface rnicromachining on GaAs substrate is sugsested. This filter has the advantages of compact side, easy fabrication, and sharp cutoff frequency response. The new SIR LPF shows the 3 dB passband of dc to 33 GHz, the insertion loss of 0.82 dB, and the return loss of better than 17 dB up to 25.57 GHz. This filter is useful for many microwave system applications.

Achieving the maximum blasting efficiency with minimum abrasive consumption is a critical concern in surface preparation stage of shipbuilding and offshore industry. Increasing the abrasive flow rate beyond the optimum point results in a major reduction in productivity even though the amount of abrasive used is larger. So, this study is intend to find out the optimum abrasive-to-air mixing ratio which can make a significant improvement in blasting efficiency and remarkably reduce the amount of abrasive used. From the test results, it can be identified that as the abrasive feeding rate is increased linearly, blasting efficiency is increased to a maximum point and then gradually decreased in the form of a bell-shaped.

Tunnel type spillway is rarely constructed in worldwide, and designed secondary in Korea. In this paper we pronounce a case study of tunnel type spillway design. We firstly considered lining concrete abrasiveness and cavitations for tunnel safety. This paper describes the design of tunnel type spillway section, excavation method, blasting, support and concrete lining.

본 연구에서는 기존의 시추공 시험 발파 결과를 이용한 분석뿐만 아니라, 3차원 수치 해석으로 터널 굴착 시 실제 발파와 동일한 조건을 적용한 발파진동영향 검토를 실시하고 주변 구조물에 미치는 진동 영향을 분석하여 발파패턴 설계를 수행하였다.

The purpose of this study is to predict promising Location Based Services under an ubiquitous environment based on their technical characteristics, which is strongly required in rapidly changing circumstances with ubiquitous computing and Broadband Convergence Network (BcN). To begin with, this study proposes a classification scheme of ubiquitous services and defines five technology factors required for ubiquitous services. Next, this study collects a number of ubiquitous services from previous researches and classified them according to the classification scheme of ubiquitous services. And then, technical importance of the collected ubiquitous services are evaluated in terms of technology factors by using service-technology metrics. Finally, a set of important Location Based Services under ubiquitous environments and the correlations between technology factors are identified by using the evaluation results.

인체 피부흑색종 세포에 대한 epigallocatechin gallate의 세포독성작용을 평가하고, 광학현미경적 관찰을 실시하여 인체 피부흑색종 세포의 형태학적인 변화를 볼 수 있었다. 세포독성은 비색정량분석법, NR정량분석법과 SRB정량분석법으로 측정하였다. 이런 결과는 epigallocatechin gallate에 항암활성을 보여준다.

This paper proposes a new reactive-power compensator composed of a soft-switching current-source inverter. The compensator consists of 3-Phase IGBT bridge, dc reactor, and a resonant circuit. The resonant circuit offers the IGBT bridge to have PWM operation with minimal switching losses. A theoretical analysis and computer simulation with Is-Spice were done to verify the operation of the proposed system. Also a acaled-model of the system was built and tested for verifying the feasibility of proposed system.
