A Study on the achievements of Baek Kwang-hyeon, a Doctor in Chosun Dynasty (의인(醫人) 백광현(白光玹)의 행적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the life and achievements of a doctor whose name is Baek Kwang-hyeon. He was at first a soldier and later became a doctor. After years of practicing, he was chosen as a acupuncture specialist doctor of Royal Office of Medicine. He was also chosen as a Royal doctor. The method to do this study was to read the book "Jisagongyousa Bukyunghumbang(知事公遺事 附經驗方)", which is writing about his life and medical achievements. Also "Seongjeongwon Ilgi(承政院日記)" was searched to find more about Dr. Baek's life. The results were as follows. More unknown records about his life and works could be found. His medical achievements and originality could also be clarified. Through above books and other records, the annual report of his life could be presented at the end of this stuy.

Automatic Recognition of Printed Musical Sheets Using ART2 (ART2를 이용한 자동 악보 인식)

  • 본 논문에서는 스캔된 악보 영상을 ART2 알고리즘을 이용하여 음자리표를 인식하고 자동으로 연주하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 자동 악보 인식 방법은 스캔된 영상에서 이진 영상으로 변환하기 위해서 평균 이진화 기법을 적용한다. 평균 이진화 기법이 적용된 영상에서 수평 히스토그램을 이용하여 악보 영상의 오선을 제거한다. 제거된 악보 영상에서 8방향 윤곽선 추적 알고리즘을 이용하여 음표를 탐색하여 추출하고 추출된 음표를 ART2 알고리즘에 적용하여 쉼표와 음표를 분류한다. 분류된 음표를 이용하여 악보를 인식하고 인식된 악보를 이용하여 연주한다. 실제 악보를 스캐너로 획득한 악보 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 단순한 악보 영상에서 효과적으로 악보가 인식되고 연주할 수 있는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This study was carried out to develop the antitoxic compound about cytotoxicity of cadmium on cultured rat neuroglial cells. These cells divided into 3 groups; control group (medium only) or $MTT_{50}$ group (neuroglial cell, $61{\mu}M$ cadmium) and experimental group ($61{\mu}M$ caffeic acid). Neutral red (NR) and tetrazolium MTT of the colorimetric assay were performed to evaluate the cytotoxicity of cell organelles. The light microscopic study was carried out to morphological changes of cultured rat neuroglical cells. The results indicated that caffeic acid showed detoxification effect on cytotoxicity of cadmium in $61{\mu}M$ concentration. According to the spectroscopic study of 1:1 complex of cadmium and caffeic acid, it showed that this formation of complex eliminated cadmium from cultured rat neurogllal cells.

  • Product-service system (PSS) is a novel type of business model integrating products and services in a single system. It provides a strategic alternative to product-oriented economic growth and price-based competition in the global market. This paper first reviews the current status of PSS, including its concept, characteristics, benefits, and cases. This paper then reviews the existing literature and identifies major research issues for three main phases of a PSS development lifecycle, namely, PSS design, PSS evaluation, and PSS operation. This research is expected to contribute to promoting awareness and improving understanding of PSS in our society and planning of future research in this field.

  • 본 논문에서는 애견의 안구 영상을 분석하여 백내장을 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 애견의 영상에서 안구 영역을 선택한 후, 양선형 보간법을 적용하여 선택된 안구 영역을 확대한 후, 퍼지 스트레칭 기법을 적용하여 명암 대비를 강조한다. 강조된 영상에서 이진화 기법과 침식, 팽창기법을 적용하여 잡음 영역을 제거한다. 잡음이 제거된 안구 영역에 8 방향 윤곽선 추적 기법을 적용하여 백내장을 추출한다. 추출된 백내장 부분을 애견의 평균적인 백내장의 크기와 비교 분석하여 백내장 가능성을 도출한다.
