Personal NO$_{2}$ expousre and time activity patterns were measured during March, 1991 for 46 taxi drivers in the Seoul area. Badge-type personal samplers were worn for 24 hours by taxidrivers for monitoring personal expousre to NO$_{2}$. A standard respiratory questionnaire was administered and pulmonary function test was performed using a protable spirometry. The mean concentrations of personal NO$_{2}$ expousres of taxi drivers were 0.55ppm. Personal NO$_{2}$ exposures of taxi drivers were seemed to be higher in longer period of driving, smokers, and use of LP gas in homes. Prevalence rate of respiratory symptoms and the level of pulmonary function(FEV$_{1.0}$ and FVC) seemed to be related to higher personal NO$_{2}$ concentrations. It is concluded that persoanl NO$_{2}$ expousres of taxi drivers are probably affected by indoor NO$_{2}$ levels of a tax/and their common activities.

A radiation incident took place during treatment on MEDNIF Tele cobalt-60 therapy machine in B.P.KOIRALA MEMORIAL CANCER HOSPITAL in Bharatpur, Nepal. This Chinese made machine has activity of 6240 Curies of cobalt -60. This machine has fulfilled safety requirements. ICRP recommendations, safety rules are followed and practiced. The source was struck up during treatment and a technician was exposed to equivalent dose of 13.75 mSv. recorded by Personal film badge. Risks of workers are comparable to other safe industries. All exposures shall be kept as low as reasonably possible. The higher level of safety is achieved only when every one is dedicated to common goal. A lesson is learnt for future. Good practice is essential but not sufficient. A high demand for tele Cobalt therapy convinced management to replace Mednif machine with a new efficient Elite Tele Cobalt theratron Machine.

This paper describes the ubiquitous home network (uHome-net) testbed and LonRF intelligent devices based on LonWorks technology. These devices consist of Neuron Chip, RF transceiver, sensor, and other peripheral components. Using LonRF devices, a home control network can be simplified and most devices can be operated on LonWorks control network. Also, Indoor Positioning System (IPS) that can serve various location based services was implemented in uHome-net. Smart Badge of IPS, that is a special LonRF device, can measure the 3D location of objects in the indoor environment. In the uHome-net testbed, remote control service, cooking help service, wireless remote metering service, baby monitoring service and security ＆ fire prevention service were realized. This research shows the vision of the ubiquitous home network that will be emerged in the near future.

This study was performed to investigate the single and combined effect of concentrations of garlic juice according to the pH and temperature on the growth of Salmonella enteritidis in brain heart infusion broth, and to develope Response surface model for the effect of concentrations of garlic extract. The results of electric conductibility of Salmonella enteritidis growing in the range of incubation temperature ($25~42^{\circ}C$), pH (5.5~9.0) and concentration of garlic Juice (0~0.8%) showed that a badge with high temperature had low D.T.value and concentration of garlic extract were significantly correlated with D.T.value (p<0.01). Growth of Salmonella enteritidis in the condition of $37^{\circ}C$ and pH 7.0 presented the lowest D.T.value.

In this paper, embroidery works with a certain date are divided by a category, and they are reviewed in terms of original fabrics, embroidery patterns, the form of an artwork, embroidery techniques, and etc with the aim of the understanding of the Joseon period embroidery. In the second part, I examine the history of Korean embroidery from the Three Kingdoms period to the Joseon dynasty along with the written records and extant embroidery works. The third part, Joseon embroidery revealed by the analysis of the remaining embroidery works, divides Joseon embroidery by two kinds, bridal robe and rank badge as well as an embroidery screen. Through the examination of these extant works, I try to rediscover the historic significance of Joseon embroidery, and also hope to help people to gain an expert opinion on Joseon embroidery.

위치기반 서비스 시스템은 유비쿼터스 환경으로의 변화와 함께 여러 응용모델과의 접목으로 가치창출에 대한 가능성이 높은 분야이다. 기존의 버스교통시스템은 Active Badge System 또는 GPS 수신정보를 이용한 일방적 push 형태로 현재위치에 대한 정보만을 사용자에게 알려주었으며 그 정보를 접할 수 있는 특정한 장소가 아니면 정보를 획득할 수 없는 시스템이다. 이 논문에서 제안하는 지능형 버스교통정보 시스템은 근거리 무선 통신이 가능하며 측위시스템을 활용할 수 있는 단말기와, 버스교통의 정보를 담고 있는 ITS(Intelligent Transport System)의 권역교통정보센터서브시스템(RTICS)에 호스트를 이동하면서 사용자 대신 업무를 수행하는 객체인 이동 에이전트를 적용한 시스템으로서, ITS API 표준을 요구하지 않으며 단말기를 소지한 사용자가 어느 곳에서든 능동적으로 버스교통에 대한 다양한 정보를 획득 할 수 있다.

사용자의 위치 기반 서비스는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 위치 기반 서비스는 현재 사용자나 사물의 위치를 표시 해 주는 서비스이다. 이러한 위치 인식 기반 서비스는 GPS, ActiveBadge, Sensor 등과 같은 장비를 이용하여 위치를 인식 할 수 있다. 그러나 특허나 벤더에 따라 서로 다른 기술들을 사용하기 때문에 매우 노동 집약적이며 각 장비마다 가격이 고가이기 때문에 의미 있는 ROI를 이끌어 낼 수 없다. 비록 가격이 낮아져 의미 있는 ROI를 이끌어 내더라도 대부분의 위치 인식은 Zone-level정도의 정확도를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 최근 급속히 보급되고 있는 IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN 인프라를 활용하여 AP의 RSSI 정보를 이용하여 위치 인식을 한다. 또한, Zone-level에서 room-level로 기존의 위치 인식보다 좀 더 정밀하게 하기 위하여 삼각측량 알고리즘을 이용하여 설계하였다.

To realize the advantages of e-Paper, driving systems should be separated from panels to keep its superiority in thin, light, and flexible. For this purpose, this paper develops a panel hot-plugging driving system for R2R cholesteric LCD. Its performance is verified by implementing an e-Badge application. Satisfactory results are obtained.

Enhanced the value of badge good with the gold plating of emblem, sports pictogram, mascot in 2002 Asian Game and World Cup, applying the plating and coating technique to screen printing. In addition, tourist and characteristic goods were of great value and image of visual communication displayed outside. After the screen printing in the surface of stainless steel, it obtained the plate coloring of beautiful a black glossy with a black Ru plating. At the identical surface, it did that the electrodeposition coating process in order to making a conductor state of image areas and a nonconductor state of nonimage areas. After the electrodeposition process, it removed the printing ink of image areas with solvent. A manufacturing process, it removed the printing ink of image areas with solvent. A manufacturing process completed with copper, nickel and gold plating at bared metal surface.
