Among these things, it is important to show a baby condition because their disease miss diagnosis time or remain to decide an exact diagnosis result too hard. For this, in this paper, we are going to develop system which decides where to be not good body point by analysing their face color and crying sound. Specifically, in this paper, we are going to act for baby heart diseases by doing feature extraction for their face region color and crying sound. To embody, we are going to present diagnosis method and compare analyze their crying sound a stand child, a different diseases child and a baby heart diseases child through each analyzed element. And also, we are going to extract matters to be attended to baby heart diseases through experiment and prepare objective index and an accuracy of baby heart diseases diagnosis result.
Purpose: The research was conducted to investigate the experience of maternal role attainment of mothers of premature infants admitted in NICU and to conceptualize the phenomena. Method: The grounded theory method was utilized for data collection and analysis. 8 mothers of premature infants were selected and in-depth interview was performed. Paradigm model was utilized for data analysis and presentation. Result: The central category was 'unstable maternal identity'. The properties of the core phenomena was 'ambivalent feeling to baby' 'negative emotion' 'commitment to baby'. The loss of control due to premature delivery was the causal condition. contextual condition was the 'perceived threats' due to severity of the premature infant and uncerainty of the baby's life. The mother's health status, economic status, and familial and social support was recognized as intervening conditions during the process of maternal role attainment. The strategic action/interactions were emotion-focused coping, reappraisal of the situation, problem-focused coping, and information seeking. The consequence was the maternal role attainment with competence and expectation. Conclusion: The process of maternal role attainment was affected by threats due to severity of the baby and intervening factors and interaction strategy. Further research is recommended to develop adequate intervention method during the process of maternal role attainment.
This study explores the effects of rural migrant characteristics and conjugal communication on life satisfaction of baby boomer rural migrants. A total of 205 Korean baby boomers, who are living in rural areas in the year of 2013 that had migrated from cities back in 2003 with their families, were analyzed. Their age ranged from 49 to 57 years. The statistical methods used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, t-test, and hierarchical regression analysis, with SPSS Win 20.0 program. The results of this study are summarized as follows: the reasons these baby boomers chose a rural lifestyle were 'for life after retirement,' 'because rural life is good,' 'for health reasons,' and 'for chosen profession.' The level of conjugal communication (M=3.69) and life satisfaction (M=3.23) were higher than average (M=3.0). The variables influencing life satisfaction of baby boomer rural migrants were 'increased property size,' 'better conjugal communication,' 'better health condition,' 'lower levels of money,' and 'length of time spent farming.' Furthermore, in terms of life satisfaction, the relative contributions of these variables are as follows: general characteristics 20%, rural migrant characteristics 10%, and the level of conjugal communication 6%. These results show that conjugal communication is a very important variable, as well as a rural migrant characteristic when it comes to life satisfaction of these baby boomers. Therefore, to improve life satisfaction of baby boomer rural migrants, support programs need to focus on both farming and conjugal relationships.
This study investigated the effects of self-esteem on the depression of baby boomer and eco-boomer generation (the children of baby boomers) living alone. It was identified from the point of view of comparison between the two groups. Using the 15th data of the 2020 Korea Welfare Panel, an independent sample t-test and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted with the data of baby boomers who live alone (born in 1955-1963) and eco-boomers who live alone (born in 1979-1992). The results of this study show that baby boomers who live alone had lower levels of education, income, and health condition than the eco-boomers who live alone, and had higher level of depression, but relatively lower level of self-esteem. In both groups, self-esteem had an effect on depression, but it was confirmed that the influence was greater in the group of baby boomers (Adjusted R2 .259) than in eco-boomers (Adjusted R2 .083). Based on the results of this study, practical and policy alternatives were suggested to prevent the depression among middle-aged, elderly people, and young adults who live alone.
The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting perceptions of successful aging and preparations for the later life among the baby boom cohort. The subject of survey is the baby boomer(from 1955 to 1963) and it was done from May 1 to September 15 in 2016. 814 self-reported questionnaires were used for final analysis by SPSS WIN18. The major results of this study were as follows: First, there were differences in the perception of successful aging by education level, subjective awareness of economic status, subjective awareness of health condition, marriage status. Second, there were differences in the preparations for the later life by education level, job, subjective awareness of economic status, subjective awareness of health condition. Third, The higher perception of successful aging was deserved to significantly affect preparations for the later life.
This study examined the relationship between mothers' consciousness of diet and their infant feeding methods and weaning practices. Consciousness of diet analyzed from 17 questions concerning the attitudes and opinions of diet was classified into 6 categories using the factor analysis. These categories were the faithfulness of diet, the health-directed dietary practices, the application of health information, the application of information about food and nutrition, the sincerity to meal preparation, and dietary habits. The 400 mothers selected randomly from Wonju area were surveyed. The results obtained from the study were summarized as follows. Weaning was implemented earlier by the group with better education career and with the exact knowledge of weaning. Factors associated with infant feeding methods included some sociodemographic characteristics such as birth order, mothers' employment state and income level and mothers' effort toward faithfulness of diet. The use of health-foods and nutrient supplements were prefered by the groups used bottle-feeding method. The health condition of the infants was influenced by mother's will to carry out the health information rather than infant feeding methods and weaning foods used. Mothers who perceived the importance of diet for health and consumed more milk had healthier babies, and their dietary habits were more favorable. The subjects who self-recognized the meaning of weaning and who believed that earlier weaning was good for baby or delayed weaning was the cause of anemia and poor appetite, took advantage of the information about food and nutrition as well as prefered the health-directed dietary practices. Mothers who retried to feed the weaning food rejected by baby before, applied the dietary information to the real meal management more actively and had a more desirable dietary habits. In those cases the baby had improved health condition. Those who were interested in the meaning of weaning and the nutritious effect of weaning foods, revealed significantly higher tendency on the performance of cooking information and the more confidence to the health information from advertisement.
The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for developing a program for effective prevention for postpartum depression (PPD) by investigate the level of PPD in postpartum women. The subjects were 104 women. The data were collected from march, 2003 to June, using a 36 item questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS program for t-test, ANOVA, multiple regression. The results were as follow 1. The score of Postpartum depression was 44.1. The level of PPD according to General Characteristics was significantly difference according to home care need. 2. The level of PPD according to obstetrical characteristics was significantly differences according to postpartum complication(p<.05). depression in pregnancy(p<.01), baby's health state(p<.01). 3. The variables to predict postpartum depression in postpartum women are depression related to depression during pregnancy, complication after delivery, and a baby's condition. As the result of multiple regression analysis, variables bringing about postpartum discomfort were depression during pregnancy, complication after delivery, and a baby's condition, and this model showed the explanatory power at 28.8%. In conclusion, it is necessary to care mothers belonging to a risk group more concentrically by taking the factors causing postpartum depression into account, and to keep on studying repeatedly in order to raise the number of objects and to find related variables because this study has more or less limited objects not enough to generalize a bit. It is also necessary to study to make a program of arbitration in nursing of postpartum depression actually.
The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for developing effective intervention methods to improve the quality of life by identifying the factors that affect the quality of life of the baby boomers. Complex chromosome rearrangements (CCRs) are structural chromosomal rearrangements involving at least three chromosomes and more than two breakpoints. CCR carriers are generally phenotypically normal but related to higher risk of recurrent miscarriage and having abnormal offspring with congenital anomalies. However, most of CCR carriers are not aware of their condition until genetic analysis of either abortus or affected baby or parental karyotyping is performed. Herein, we present the case that CCR carrier patients can be identified by preimplantation genetic testing of preimplantation embryos. An infertile male patient with severe oligoasthenoteratozoospermia was diagnosed balanced reciprocal translocation, 46,XY,t(3;11) (p26;p14) at first. After attempting the first preimplantation genetic testing for structural rearrangement (PGT-SR) cycle, we found the recurrent segmental gain or loss on 21q21.3-q22.3 of five out of nine embryos. As a result of karyotype re-analysis, the patient's karyotype showed a balanced CCR involving chromosomes 3, 11, and 21 with three breakpoints 3p26, 11p14, and 21q21. The patient underwent two PGT-SR cycles, and a pregnancy was established after the transfer of an euploid embryo in the second cycle. Amniocentesis confirmed that the baby carried normal karyotype without mosaicism. At 37 weeks gestation, a healthy girl weighting 3,050 g was born.
