The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the bioequivalence of two propiverine hydrochloride tablets, BUP-4 (Jeil Pharm. Co., Ltd.) and Kuhnil Propiverine Hydrochloride (Kuhnil Pharm. Co., Ltd.), according to the guidelines of the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). The propiverine release from the two propiverine hydrochloride formulations in vitro was tested using KP VIII Apparatus II method with a variety of dissolution media (pH 1.2, 4.0, 6.8 buffer solutions, water and blend of polysorbate 80 into pH 6.8). Twenty six healthy male subjects, $23.73{\pm}2.79$ years in age and $67.04{\pm}7.93\;kg$ in body weight, were divided into two groups and a randomized $2\;{\times}\;2$ cross-over study was employed. After one tablet containing 20 mg as propiverine hydrochloride was orally administered, blood was taken at predetermined time intervals and the concentrations of propiverine in serum were determined using HPLC method with UV detector. The dissolution profiles of two formulations were similar at all dissolution media. Besides, the pharmacokinetic parameters such as $AUC_t,\;C_{max}\;and\;T_{max}$ were calculated and ANOVA test was utilized for the statistical analysis of the parameters using logarithmically transformed $AUC_t,\;C_{max}$ and untransformed $T_{max}$. The results showed that the differences between two formulations based on the BUP-4 were 0.17%, 7.98% and 4.55% for $AUC_t,\;C_{max}\;and\;T_{max}$. respectively. There were no sequence effects between two formulations in these parameters. The 90% confidence intervals using logarithmically transformed data were within the acceptance range of log(0.8) to log(1.25) $(e.g.,\;log(0.88){\sim}log(1.l2)\;and\;log(0.90){\sim}log(1.l5)\;for\;AUC_t\;and\;C_{max},\;respectively)$. Thus, the criteria of the KFDA bioequivalence guideline were satisfied, indicating Kuhnil Propiverine Hydrochloride tablet was bioequivalent to BUP-4 tablet.
This study was aimed to get the course which is caused by Neuropsychiatric symptoms in Sang-Han. Therefore this study is based on ${\ulcorner}Euhak-Ipmun\;Sang-Han{\lrcorner}$(${\ulcorner}$醫學入門\;傷寒${\lrcorner}$) classfied mainly by symptoms. The results were summerized as follows: 1. Neuropsychiatric symptoms in ${\ulcorner}Euhak-Ipmun\;Sang-Han{\lrcorner}$(${\ulcorner}$醫學入門\;傷寒${\lrcorner}$) are explained as Pal-Gang(八綱), which shows those are settled down to a systematic oriental medical theory. 2. Pal-Bup (八法) is used in the cure of symptomatische psychose in Euhak-Ipmun${\cdot}$Sang-Han (醫學入門${\cdot}$傷寒), which is intended to boost the effect of cure, choosing the respondent cure method about various causes. 3. PaI-Gang(八綱) and Pal-Bup(八法) in ${\ulcorner}Euhak-Ipmun\;Sang-Han{\lrcorner}$(${\ulcorner}$醫學入門;傷寒${\lrcorner}$) are improved by Lee-Chun who added Jang-Gi(張機)'s Sang Han theory and new medical thought in the ages of Geum Won. 4. Lee-Chun believed that Neuropsychiatric symptoms which appeared in Sang Hang is caused by the ‘Unbalance(不平)’. So he wanted to reach harmony of ‘Jeong(精), Qi(氣), Shin(神), Hyul(血)’ after improving the status of $‘Unbalance(\;{\ulcorner}不平{\lrcorner})’$ toward the status of ‘Balance(平)’.

Perioperative pain relief is essential in veterinary practice. However, the cat is one of the most poorly understood species regarding pain control management. Ovariohysterectomy(OHE) produces considerable postoperative pain in cats. Practitioners are often reluctant to administer analgesics due to lack of familiarity with available drugs, concern about side effects, or frustration with the need for record keeping of controlled substances. The purpose of this study was to determine if intraperitoneal administration of bupivacaine can provide relief of pain following OHE in cats. Twelve healthy female cats were randomly divided into two groups. OHE was performed under general inhalation anesthesia. Just prior to complete closure of the linea alba, 6 cats in SAL group received 0.88 ml/kg 0.9% saline, 6 cats in BUP group received 4.4 mg/kg 0.75% bupivacaine diluted to an equivalent volume with saline in the intraperitoneal space. Cats were scored at 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12 and 24 hours post-extubation by one observer. Cats were evaluated using a visual analogue scale(VAS) and composite pain scale(CPS) that included physiologic variables. There were no significant differences in body weight, anesthesia time, surgery time, and incision length between the two groups. Cats in the BUP group had significantly(p<0.05) lower VAS-pain scores than cats in the SAL group at 4, 8, 12 hours after surgery. Cats in the BUP group had significantly lower CPS scores than cats in the SAL group at 8, 12 hours after surgery. No adverse side effects were observed. These results support that the intraperitoneal administration of bupivacaine following OHE can be used for the prevention of postoperative pain and pain-induced behavioral changes in cats.
The biological effects of NADPH-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDPc) inhibitor. DA-11004, was examined in obese zucker rats or streptozotocin-induced diabetic SD rats. Diabetes was induced by injection of streptozotocin (50mg/kg) dissolved in citrate buffer (pH 4.8) into the tail vein and induction of diabetes was confirmed by the measurement of the tail blood glucose level at 48h. DA-11004 (30mg/kg, po) was injected for successive 7days and significantly reduced the plasma glucose in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats (P<0.05). (omitted)
The purpose of the study is to identify a basic spatial unit for rural village redevelopment plan. An ideal spatial unit need to satisfy three basic premises: to be homogeneous as rural community, to be appropriate to implement the project, and to be compatible with regional planning systems. A spatial unit could, empirically, be defined based on the homogeneity at first, and then appropriateness and compatibility could be used to adjust its boundary. Mitan-Myun(13 villages), Pyungchang County, Dochuck-Myun(15 villages), Kwangju County, and Chuksan-Myun(28 villages), Kimje City in Korea were selected as case study areas. The degree of interrelationship between all possible pairs in each Myun was measured using spatial, socio-cultural, and economic indicators. Multidimensional Scaling(MDS) was used to identify a homogeneous spatial unit, and then indicators representing appropriateness and compatibility were used to adjust the identified boundary. New districts which have two or three villages were suggested as a reasonable spatial unit for rural village redevelopment, and its boundary roughly overlaps with Bup-Jeong-Ri(法定里: a legally defined village).

The relationship between the diffusivity and electrochemical characteristics of lithium secondary battery with the modified Si anode material prepared in HF/$AgNO_3$ solution was investigated. The crystallographic structure and images of the modified porous Si and modified Si/Cu was examined using the X-ray diffraction, BET and SEM. To examine the effect of metal composite and pore size distribution according to chemical etching on the electrochemical characterization, the electrodes for half cells were prepared with the modified Si, modified Si/Cu, and modified Si/Cu annealed with $600^{\circ}C$. Our results showed that the chemical diffusivity of lithium ions was related to structure and resistance of Si/Cu composite anode material. The lithium diffusivity in modified silicon compound calculated from the CV was at the range of $1{\times}10^{-12}$ to $9{\times}10^{-16}cm^2/s$. The effects of modified silicon structure and resistance on the cycling efficiency were significant.

In the existing naval combat system, integrated management is done based on subsystems that make up the system. The naval combat system, however, is a large-scale distributed system made up of subsystems of diverse heterogeneous environments. Although each of the subsystems can be easily managed because they are on the same platform, it is extremely difficult to integrate and manage as a single entity all subsystems that make up the naval combat system because the heterogeneous environments and distributed systems have to be taken into account. In fact, there hasn't been a technique available to integrate and manage subsystems that make up the naval combat system, until now. In this paper, the architecture of an integrated management system is designed and implemented to provide the user with various services. Furthermore, a system that can manage subsystems of the naval combat system in an integrated way is developed.
In connection-oriented data transport services, data loss can occur when a service experiences a problem in its end-to-end path. To resolve the problem promptly, the data transport systems providing the service must quickly modify their internal configurations, which are distributed among different locations within each system. The configurations are modified through a series of problem (event) handling procedures, which are carried out by multiple control processors in the system. This paper proposes a provisioning-to-signaling method for inter-control-processor messaging to improve the time efficiency of event processing. This method simplifies the sharing of the runtime event, and minimizes the time variability caused by the amount of event data, which results in a decrease in the latency time and an increase in the time determinacy when processing global events. The proposed method was tested for an event that required 4,000 internal path changes, and was found to lessen the latency time of global event processing by about 50% compared with the time required for general methods to do the same; in addition, it reduced the impact of the event data on the event processing time to about 30%.
Six volunteers (mean $age=25.7{\pm}1.7$, $height=173{\pm}1.9$ and $weight=63.4{\pm}2.3{\;}kg$) participated in a graded exercise test and one hour of basic form of ChunDoSunBup (CDSB) Qi-training to investigate the cardiorespiratory responses and exercise intensity of Qi-training, a Korean traditional psychosomatic training. In the maximal exercise, the trainee showed $96.2{\pm}8.89{\;}l/min$ in ventilation (VE), $46.0{\pm}4.4$ in breath frequency (BF), $1.31{\pm}0.05$ in respiratory exchange ratio (RER), $180.7{\pm}3.0$ in heart rate (HR), and $2.6{\pm}1.1{\;}l/min$ or $40.7{\pm}2.3{\;}ml/kg/ml$ in oxygen consumption $(VO_2)$. Qi-training induced significant changes in BF, RER, HR, and $VO_2$. The exercise intensity of Qi-training were 42.3%, 46.9% and 38.7% of $HR_{max}$ during the sound exercise, slow motion (haeng-gong) and meditation respectively and the average was 46.2% of $HR_{max}$. We conclude that Qi-training is an aerobic exercise of a light (mild) intensity exercise, and it leads to decrease the metabolic rate in the trainee by breathing efficiently and relaxing them. In addition, Qi-training may affect cardiorespiratory function of BF, RER, HR and $VO_{2max}$ in trainees.
In this work, we investigated hydrogen content, bond structure, and electrical properties of a-Si:H films prepared by ECR plasma CVD as a function of pressure. In general, the photo sensitivity of a-Si:H films prepared by CVD method decreases as the deposition rate increases, but the photo sensitivity of a-Si:H films prepared by ECR plasma deposition method increases as the deposition rate increases. In the same condition of microwave power, the ratio of $SiH_4/H_2$, and pressure, though film thickness increases linearly with deposition time and hydrogen content in the film is constant, photo conductivity can be decreased because $SiH_2$ bond is made more than SiH bond in the short reaction time. According to increase pressure in the chamber, SiH bond in the film increase and optical energy gap decrease. So, photo conductivity can be increased. But photo sensitivity decreased as dark conductivity increase. It must be grown in the condition of low pressure and hydrogen gas for taking the a-Si:H film of high quality.
