It is necessary to assess and reap the benefits of integrating BP(Business Planning) and ISP(Information Systems Planning) in creating competitive advantage and ensuring superior financial performance. Securing and maintaining of integration between BP and ISP is frequently cited as a critical concern of IS managers. In general, however, BP and ISP are not integrated, and organization's strategy isn't supported effectively. Therefore, this paper identifies the current stage of BP-ISP integration of Korean insurance industry based on the survey and then reveals inhibiting factors and enabling factors for BP-ISP integration through the interview with IS managers of type 3 and type 4 companies. The results of this paper suggest factors to accomplish BP-ISP integration successfully for companies which are considering BP-ISP integration.

c-PMS(collaborative project management system) is a business process(BP) based tool to manage collaborative projects which accomplish common business objectives determined by mutual agreement of companies using limited resources and time. This study analyzes collaborative BP, collaborative projects, and their relation, and proposes the architecture and operation scenario of c-PMS consisted of business process asset management(BPAM) sub-system and project manage(PM) sub-system. BPAM sub-system models private and public BP using a client/server based modeler, defines collaborative BPs process from public BPs, and manages them as companies' asset on a web portal. PM sub-system globally manages collaborative project using planning, execution, monitoring, and analyzing functions.

Software Engineering covers techniques, tools, and methodologies needed to develop, acquire, and manage software in high quality, using appropriate resources. Therefore it can be said that the administration target of software engineering activities is the pursuit of high productivity for production of software in good quality. To do this, they should establish the engineering principle based on engineering theory and concept, and form the effective environment of engineering technology through improving development methods/methodology and tools of software engineering. In addition several guidances related to information system planning, acquisition, development, management, maintenance, and evaluation, etc. must be invented on the basis of software engineering to encourage efficiency of public information business yearly increasing fastand to make sure compatibility and interoperability.
