$TiB_2$-SiC 복합재료의 소결거동 (Sintering Behavior of $TiB_2$-SiC Composites)

  • The effect of SiC addition on sintering behaviors and microstructures of TiB2 ceramics were studied. The sintering of TiB2 was limited due to the surface diffusion and rapid grain growth at high temperature. However the addition of SiC to TiB2 ceramics improved the densification to above 99% of the theoretical density. The sintering of TiB2-SiC composite starts at 120$0^{\circ}C$ with the melting of the oxides in particle surface as impurities. After the reduction of the oxide by additional cabon at above 140$0^{\circ}C$, the grain boundary diffusion through the interface of TiB2-SiC play an important role. TEM observation showed neither chemical reactions nor other phases formed at the TiB2-SiC interfaces but the microcracks were observed due to the mismatch of thermal expansion between TiB2-SiC.

  • Since B2C EC websites not only become a valuable channel for selling goods to customers and for communicating with the potential clients, but also offer companies an important vehicle for attaining competitive advantages in the new digital economy, the design and content of website must reflect its business goals and customers' needs. However, as little empirical evidence on the effect of B2C EC website contribution of firm performance exist, the functionality of B2C EC website has been decided voluntarily from its business experience. Hence, there has been a call for a rigorous empirical studies to examine the function level of an B2C EC website application. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the function level of B2C EC website and its performance considering the characteristics of B2C EC strategy as moderating variable. 125 questionnaires from internet shopping malls which sell physical goods direct to an individual end consumer were collected. The results showed that four factors(price, product recognition, reliability enhancement, and purchase confidence) affect positive effects on the performance of shopping mall, and the characteristics of B2C EC strategy can be considered as a significant moderating variable between price factor and the performance of shopping mall.

Lactobacillus casei Bacperiophage의 분류 및 특성에 관한 연구 (Classification and Characterization of Bacteriophages of Lectobacillus casei)

  • Phages of Lactobaciilus casei (PLC) isolated from plant drainage were classified and characterized. The results are as follows : 1. On the basis of host range pattern, phages could be divided into 2 groups (PLC-B and PLC-C). PLC-B group phages could be further divided into 5 sub-groups $(B_1, \;B_2, \;B_3, \;B_4, \;and\;B_5)$. Although PLC-C group phages had the same host range, they could be also divided into 2 sub-groups $(C_1\;and\;C_2)$ by morphlogical type. 2. It was $B_3$ group phages that represented a major proportion (44.4%) of phages tested. However, $B_1$ group phages were shown to have the widest host range. 3. Electron micrographs revealed that the phages fell into three different morphological types. $(B_1, \;B_2, \;and\;B_3)$ group phages hd a hexagonal head (52nm in diameter) and a sheathless noncontractile (245 nm in length). $B_4\;and\;C_2$ group phages had a hexagonal head (56 nm) and a short flexible tail (169nm) having no sheath. $B_5\;and\;C_1$ group phages were shown to have a hexagonal head (81 nm) and a contractile tail (140 nm) having a sheath, a base plate and tail fibers. 4. The inactivation of the phages by antisera indicated that serological relationships correlated completely with morphological types. 5. $B_1, \;C_1\;and\;C_2$ group phages produced a large (1, 2 mm in diameter) plaque with a clear ring. The morphology of plaques of $B_3\;and\;B_5$ group phages was the same as those produced by the above, but the average plaque sizes for $B_3\;and\;B_5$ were 0.8 mm abd 0.5 mm, respectively. $B_2\;and\;B_4$ group phages produced a small (0.5 mm) turbid plaque with an irregular edge. 6. The latent period and the average burst size of $B_1\;and\;B_3$ group phages were 90 min and 100, respectively. These phages reuqired calcium ions for their miltiplication. 7. $B_3$ group phages could not be absrobed to R-variant $KC_1$. 8. The order of resistance of phages to heat was $B_2\;>\;B_1, B_4\;and\;B_5\;>\;B_3\;and\;C_2, \;B_5$ group phages were more stable than $B_3$ in various pH values. $C_2$ group phages were more sensitive to UV irradiation than $B_1\;and\;B_3$ group phages. 9. Strains YIT9018 and IAM 1043 were induced by mitomycin C treatment. Phage particles detected in the lysates had a hexagonal head (38 and 49 nm, respectively), but no tail. Any sensitive indicator strain could not be isolated in spite of repaeated trials.

중소기업의 정부 수출지원 프로그램 활용도와 기업역량이 수출성과에 미치는 영향 : 기업유형을 조절변수로 (The Influences of SMEs' Utilization of Export Assistance Programs and Firm Capabilities on Export Performances : Firm Type as a Moderator)

  • 본 연구는 중소기업의 정부 수출지원 프로그램 활용도, 기업의 마케팅 역량과 기술역량, 재무적, 전략적 성과 간의 관계에 미치는 기업유형(산업재, 소비재)의 조절효과에 대해 살펴보았다. 연구가설을 검증하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였고 사용가능한 산업재 수출중소기업 246개와 소비재 수출중소기업 137개의 설문지를 수집하였다. 조절회귀분석에 대한 연구결과로는 산업재 중소기업의 정부 수출지원 프로그램 활용도가 기업의 재무적 성과에 미치는 정적인 영향이 소비재 중소기업에 비해 유의하게 높았다. 그러나 두 유형의 중소기업 모두에 대해 정부지원 프로그램 활용도는 전략적 성과에 아무런 영향을 미치지 않았다. 한편 두 기업유형에 대해 마케팅과 기술역량 모두가 재무적, 전략적 성과에 유의한 정의 영향을 미쳤으나, 소비재 중소기업의 마케팅 역량이 재무성과에 미치는 영향이 산업재 기업에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높았으며, 산업재 중소기업의 기술역량이 재무성과에 미치는 영향이 소비재 기업에 비해 유의하게 높았다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 실무적 제언과 향후 연구에 대해 논의하였다.

  • The influences of ZrB$_2$additives to the SiC and pulse width on electrical discharge machining of SiC-ZrB$_2$electroconductive ceramic composites were investigated. IIigher-flexural strength materials show a trend toward smaller crater volumes, leaving a soother surface; the average surface roughness of the SiC-ZrB$_2$15 Vol.% Composite with the flexural strength of 375㎫ was 3.2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$,whereas the SiC-ZrB$_2$30 Vol.% composite of 457㎫ was 1.35${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. In the SEM micrographs of the fracture surface of SiC-ZrB$_2$composites, the SiC-ZrB$_2$two phaes are distinct; the white phase is the ZrB$_2$. In the micrograph of the EDM surface, however, these phases are no longer distinct because of thicker recast layer of resolidified-melt-formation droplets present.

SPS에 의한 SiC-$ZrB_2$계 전도성 세라믹 발열체 및 전극 개발 (Development of Electroconductive SiC-$ZrB_2$ Ceramic Heater and Electrod by Spark Plasma Sintering)

  • The composites were fabricated by adding 30, 35, 40, 45[vol.%] Zirconium Diboride(hereafter, $ZrB_2$) powders as a second phase to Silicon Carbide(hereafter, SiC) matrix. The physical, mechanical and electrical properties of electroconductive SiC ceramic composites by Spark Plasma Sintering(hereafter, SPS) were examined. Reactions between $\beta$-SiC and $ZrB_2$ were not observed in the XRD analysis. The relative density of SiC+30[vol.%]$ZrB_2$, SiC+35[vol.%]$ZrB_2$, SiC+40[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ and SiC+45[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ composites are 88.64[%], 76.80[%], 79.09[%] and 88.12[%], respectively. The XRD phase analysis of the electroconductive SiC ceramic composites reveals high of SiC and $ZrB_2$ and low of $ZrO_2$ phase. The electrical resistivity of SiC+30[vol.%]$ZrB_2$, SiC+35[vol.%]$ZrB_2$, SiC+40[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ and SiC+45[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ composites are $6.74{\times}10^{-4}$, $4.56{\times}10^{-3}$, $1.92{\times}10^{-3}$ and $4.95{\times}10^{-3}[{\Omega}{\cdot}cm]$ at room temperature, respectively. The electrical resistivity of SiC+30[vol.%]$ZrB_2$, SiC+35[vol.%]$ZrB_2$, SiC+40[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ and SiC+45[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ are Positive Temperature Coefficient Resistance(hereafter, PTCR) in temperature ranges from 25[$^{\circ}C$] to 500[$^{\circ}C$]. It is convinced that SiC+40[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ composite by SPS can be applied for heater or electrode.

  • $ZrB_2$ has a melting point of $3245^{\circ}C$ and a relatively low density of $6.1\;g/cm^3$, which makes this a candidate for application to ultrahigh temperature environments over $2000^{\circ}C$. Beside these properties, $ZrB_2$ is known to have excellent resistance to thermal shock and oxidation compared with other non-oxide engineering ceramics. In order to enhance such oxidation resistance, SiC was frequently added to $ZrB_2$-based systems. Due to nonsinterability of $ZrB_2$-based ceramics, research on the sintering aids such as $B_4C$ or $MoSi_2$ becomes popular recently. In this study, densification and high-temperature properties of $ZrB_2$-SiC ceramics especially with $B_4C$ are investigated. $ZrB_2$-20 vol% SiC system was selected as a basic composition and $B_4C$ or C was added to this system in some extents. Mixed powders were sintered using hot pressing (HP). With sintered bodies, densification behavior and high-temperature (up to $1400^{\circ}C$) properties such as flexural strength, hardness, and so on were examined.

단일상 ZrB$_{2 }$ 및 ZrB$_{2 }$- ZrC 복합체의 소결특성 (Sintering characteristics of monolithic ZrB$_{2 }$ and ZrB$_{2 }$-ZrC composit)

  • 상압 소결법(pressureless sintering)법을 이용하여 희토류 원소인 lanthanum neodymium을 소결조제로서 첨가하여 단일상 ZrB$_{2 }$및 ZrB$_{2 }$ and ZrB$_{2 }$-ZrC 복합제를 제조하여 그 소결거동과 미세구조에 대하여 X-선회절분석, 주사전자현미경(SEM)을 이용하여 조사하였다. 소결체의 특성은, 단일상 ZrB$_{2 }$의 경우 $2200^{\circ}C$에서 La 1wt%가 첨가된 경우에 상대밀도 96% 정도의 고밀도 소결체를 얻을 수 있었으며, ZrB$_{2 }$ and ZrB$_{2 }$-ZrC 복 합체의 경우 소결 조제를 첨가하지 않은 경우에 가장 놓은 밀도의 소결체를 얻을 수 있었다.

천이금속에 따른 SiC계 복합체의 전기적 특성 (Electrical Properties of SiC Composites by Transition Metal)

  • The composites were fabricated, respectively, using 61[vol.%]SiC-39[vol.%]$TiB_2$ and using 61[vol.%]SiC-39[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ powders with the liquid forming additives of 12[wt%] $Al_{2}O_{3}+Y_{2}O_{3}$ by hot pressing annealing at $1650[^{\circ}C]$ for 4 hours. Reactions between SiC and transition metal $TiB_2$, $ZrB_2$ were not observed in this microstructure. ${\beta}{\rightarrow}{\alpha}$-SiC phase transformation was occurred on the SiC-$TiB_2$ and SiC-$ZrB_2$ composite. The relative density, the flexural strength and Young's modulus showed the highest value of 98.57[%], 226.06[Mpa] and 86.38[Gpa] in SiC-$ZrB_2$ composite at room temperature respectively. The electrical resistivity showed the lowest value of $7.96{\times}10^{-4}[{\Omega}{\cdot}cm]$ for SiC-$ZrB_2$ composite at $25[^{\circ}C]$. The electrical resistivity of the SiC-$TiB_2$ and SiC-$ZrB_2$ composite was all positive temperature coefficient resistance (PTCR) in the temperature ranges from $25[^{\circ}C]$ to $700[^{\circ}C]$. The resistance temperature coefficient of composite showed the value of $6.88{\times}10^{-3}/[^{\circ}C]$ and $3.57{\times}10^{-3}/[^{\circ}C]$ for SiC-$ZrB_2$ and SiC-$TiB_2$ composite in the temperature ranges from $25[^{\circ}C]$ to $700[^{\circ}C]$.

방전플라즈마 소결에 의한 자기 통전식 SiC계 세라믹 발열체 개발 (Development of Electroconductive SiC Ceramic Heater by Spark Plasma Sintering)

  • The composites were fabricated by adding 0, 15, 30, 45[vol.%] $ZrB_2$ powders as a second phase to SiC matrix. The physical, mechanical and electrical properties of electroconductive SiC ceramic composites by spark plasma sintering(SPS) were investigated. Reactions between ${\beta}$-SiC and $ZrB_2$ were not observed in the XRD and the phase analysis of the electroconductive SiC ceramic composites. The relative density of mono ${\beta}$-SiC, ${\beta}$-SiC+15[vol.%]$ZrB_2$, ${\beta}$-SiC+30[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ and ${\beta}$-SiC+45[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ composites are respectively 99.24[%], 87.53[%], 96.41[%] and 98.11[%] Phase analysis of the electroconductive SiC ceramic composites by XRD revealed mostly of ${\beta}$-SiC, $ZrB_2$ and weakly of $ZrO_2$ phase. The flexural strength showed the lowest of 114.44[MPa] for ${\beta}$-SiC+15[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ powders and showed the highest of 210.75[MPa] for composite no added with $ZrB_2$ powders at room temperature. The trend of the mechanical properties of the electroconductive SiC ceramic composites is accorded with the trend of the relative density. The electrical resistivity of the electroconductive SiC ceramic composites decreased with increased $ZrB_2$ contents. The electrical resistivity of mono ${\beta}$-SiC, ${\beta}$-SiC+15[vol.%]$ZrB_2$, ${\beta}$-SiC+30[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ and ${\beta}$-SiC+45[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ composites are respectively $4.57{\times}10^{-1},\;2.13{\times}10^{-1},\;2.68{\times}10^{-2}\;and\;1.99{\times}10^{-2}[{\Omega}{\cdot}cm]$ at room temperature. The electrical resistivity of mono ${\beta}$-SiC and ${\beta}$-SiC+15[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ are negative temperature coefficient resistance(NTCR) in temperature ranges from $25[^{\circ}C]\;to\; 100[^{\circ}C]$. The electrical resistivity of ${\beta}$-SiC+30[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ and ${\beta}$-SiC+45[vol.%]ZrB_2$ are positive temperature coefficient resistance(PTCR) in temperature ranges from $25[^{\circ}C]\;to\;100[^{\circ}C]$. It is convinced that ${\beta}$-SiC+30[vol.%]$ZrB_2$ composites by SPS for heater or ignitors can be applied.
