  • Fibrinolytic enzyme genes (aprE2, aprE176, and aprE179) were introduced into the Bacillus subtilis 168 chromosome without any antibiotic resistance gene. An integration vector, pDG1662, was used to deliver the genes into the amyE site of B. subtilis 168. Integrants, SJ3-5nc, SJ176nc, and SJ179nc, were obtained after two successive homologous recombinations. The integration of each fibrinolytic gene into the middle of the amyE site was confirmed by phenotypes (Amy-, SpecS) and colony PCR results for these strains. The fibrinolytic activities of the integrants were higher than that of B. subtilis 168 by at least 3.2-fold when grown in LB broth. Cheonggukjang was prepared by inoculating each of B. subtilis 168, SJ3-5nc, SJ176nc, and SJ179nc, and the fibrinolytic activity of cheonggukjang was 4.6 ± 0.7, 10.8 ± 0.9, 7.0 ± 0.6, and 8.0 ± 0.2 (U/g of cheonggukjang), respectively at 72 h. These results showed that construction of B. subtilis strains with enhanced fibrinolytic activities is possible by integration of a strong fibrinolytic gene via a marker-free manner.

  • With the recent trends of electronic commerce moving from B2C to B2B, Collaborative Product Commerce (CPC) is widely adopted as a part of B2B in the virtual collaborative environment. This paper proposes an integrated CPC framework supporting collaborative works between businesses by sharing product data and collaborative process between global enterprises and their customers, who are related to product life cycle, and integrating application systems in order to realize a true B2B electronic commerce. To integrate into a loosely coupled structure, various web service technologies such as XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI are utilized as its fundamentals and on that basis, a CPC integration framework is implemented through the Internet to support real-time operation providing interoperability among all the different applications operated on various platforms which have been developed using different languages and adopted by different companies.

  • A business process is classified into two processes; the private process which is implemented within an enterprise and the public process which is implemented between enterprises. The public process commonly used for B2B e-business is defined as a collaborative business process. To date, the collaborative business process has been studied in various aspects. We have categorized the research trends into two viewpoints, i.e., EAI(Enterprise Application Integration) and B2Bi (business to business Integration). In this paper, research trends in inter-organizational workflow are analyzed from the EAI point of view, and research trends in message-based business process and transactions from the B2Bi point of view.

  • This paper describes the development of a data bus analyzer for use in avionics systems integration test. The data bus analyzer is equipped with MIL-STD-1553B, CAN and Ethernet interface cards which is incorporated in a majority of the avionics systems to accommodate a variety of interfaces. It has an individual hardware for a capture engine and a analyzing engine in order to perform the collection and the analysis of the bus data at the same time efficiently. It provides a data display function of the grid, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional form to increase the data analysis efficiency. Verification of the data bus analyzer was carried out module unit testing and inter-module integration testing on the basis of the test procedures. Verification of interlocking requirement and usefulness of developed equipment was confirmed through an integration test result performed on a system integration laboratory of aircraft which is an actual testing environment.

  • As the interest in the business-to-business(B2B) electronic commerce is increasing, some companies are participating in the B2B eMarketplaces(electronic marketplaces). The eMarketplace has an effect on the method of B2B transactions or the purchasing performance. The academy and the industry are focused on the cause and the result of this effect. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of the relational exchange with eMarketplace on the purchasing performance, considering the supply externality and system integration as intervening variables. This study investigates the second-order effect of eMarketplace in which the degree of improvements in two aspects of purchasing activity(price reduction, purchasing efficiency) depends on the degree of the relational exchange with eMarketplace, namely, the governance of eMarketplace. Our hypotheses on this second order effect were supported. We found that the higher the relational governance, the lower in price reduction, and the better in purchasing efficiency. In more details, the high relational governance lowers the supply externality, and in turn deteriorates the improvement in price reduction. Meanwhile, the high relational governance accelerates the information system integration, and brings the better purchasing efficiency. Our findings suggest that organizations can improve their purchasing activities better if they choose the appropriate eMarketplace governance.

  • To establish and operate adequate business model is core procedure to survive from severe competitive environment and can create payoff through BM. Whether company have or maintain competitive advantage. It depends on how to position company in the value system. In this study. like to achieve integration and rebuilding of value chain through B2E relationship and affiliation which could not achieved because of limit of manpower, cost, time. After analysis of B2E model. affiliated program, propose Affiliated B2E model. Proposed model has mutual supplemented function module which compensate mutual profit between parent company and employee company.

  • The inter-organizational business process is one of the hot issues in B2B e-commerce. In this paper, through the survey of the inter-organizational business process integration and the analysis of B2Bi related standards, e.g., BPML, WSDL, WSCI, and BPSS, we propose a method of linking BPML and BPSS specifications that can be used to integrate private processes with the public processes among enterprises. We also suggest an application example of the method by redefining a PIP of RosettaNet to the BPSS specification. The basic principle of the method is to maintain the independency of the existing BPML and BPSS applications and to construct an intermediary transformation module between the two applications.

  • There are two newly emerging research issues in the enterprise information systems literature. One is the scalability issue for rapidly increasing choreographic volumes between interrelated organizations. The other is the business intelligence issue for traceable and monitorable business processes and services interchanging e-Business data and applications across organizations. Based upon these emerging issues, through a functional extension of the ebXML technology we have developed a process-driven e- Business service integration (BSI) system, which is named ‘e-Lollapalooza’. It consists of three major components ? the Choreography Modeler coping with the processdriven collaboration issue, the Runtime & Monitoring Client for coping with the business intelligence issue and the EJB-based BSI Engine coping with the scalability issue. This paper particularly focuses on the e-Lollapalooza’s development aspects for supporting the ebXML-based choreography and orchestration among the engaged organizations in a process-driven multiparty collaboration for e-Logistics and e- Commerce services. Here, it is fully deployed in an EJB-based middleware computing environment for e-Logistics process automation and B2B choreography.
