Exploratory Study of Factors Affecting Transactions in B2B e-Marketplaces (B2B e-마켓플레이스 거래 형태에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 탐색적 연구: 사례연구를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate economic factors that determine characteristics of B2B e-Marketplaces. From a previous research work, we classify B2B e-Marketplaces into four forms: MRO Hubs, Catalogue Hubs, Yield Managers, and Exchanges. This classification is based upon "What businesses buy" and "How businesses buy." In an attempt to identify economic factors that determine e-Marketplace forms, we employ three economic factors: buyer/seller relationships, features of products traded, and characteristics of industries or markets. Through extensive literature reviews, we have selected six variables which can be used to explain reasons for different e-Marketplace forms: asset specificity and information asymmetry for the buyer/seller relationship, standardization and price variability for the product features, entry barrier and market volatility for the market characteristics. This research conducts six in-depth case studies to explain that "Why different forms of e-Marketplace emerge?" The research framework intends to provide link between e-Marketplace forms and six economic variables. Six case studies are based on interviews with CEO or team managers of e-Marketplace firms. This study has found six economic variables, explaining well reasons for different e-Marketplace forms. Research findings are summarized as propositions so that survey-type research can be conducted with a large number of samples in the future.

  • Nowadays, the explosive evolvement of Internet. which is referred to as EC, has been prevailing. That has given the chance all of the world consumers to contact all of the world companies to enter into business relationship. But, electronic commerce laws have been established per conventional jurisdiction. some legal issues take place in the field of cross-border electronic commerce, including the governing law and competent courts. In this situations, it is gradually and widely required to lay down the internationally harmonized electronic commerce legal framework. Now, there are a lot of legal issues assumed in EC, in this study, we studied three precedence problems concerning B2C: Consumer Protection Law regarding B2C, Personal Information Protection Law in Private Sector regarding B2C, Web Site Trust Mark System.

  • 본 연구는 인터넷쇼핑몰 B2C 거래자의 라이프스타일과 고객만족의 관계를 알아보려는 의도로 설문지 측정도구를 이용하였으며 선행연구와 실증분석을 시행하였다. 인터넷쇼핑몰 고객만족은 어떠한 인지적인 상황이나 태도에서 나아가 사후 행동과 연관지어 생각한다면 제품에 대한 재구매나 높은 애호도, 호의적인 구매행위 둥의 결정하는 원인으로 나타나기 때문에 인터넷쇼핑몰 관리자에게 B2C 거래의 성공적으로 이끌기 위한 필요한 마케팅정보를 제공할 수 있다. 분석결과 라이프스타일 유형중에서 열광매니아형이 고객만족에 긍정적으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 인터넷쇼핑몰에서 구매한 사이버소비자 집단의 구성원의 생활의식과 행동에 어떤 영향을 미치고 그 결과로 라이프스타일과 소비자행동의 관계를 파악해 줌으로써 체계적인 시장세분화에 접근할 수 있는 프레임웍(framework)을 제공해 줄 것이다.

Speech Denoising via Low-Rank and Sparse Matrix Decomposition

  • In this letter, we propose an unsupervised framework for speech noise reduction based on the recent development of low-rank and sparse matrix decomposition. The proposed framework directly separates the speech signal from noisy speech by decomposing the noisy speech spectrogram into three submatrices: the noise structure matrix, the clean speech structure matrix, and the residual noise matrix. Evaluations on the Noisex-92 dataset show that the proposed method achieves a signal-to-distortion ratio approximately 2.48 dB and 3.23 dB higher than that of the robust principal component analysis method and the non-negative matrix factorization method, respectively, when the input SNR is -5 dB.

  • The first edition of ebXML which aims at unimarket was announced at May 1 of 2001. OASIS continues working on the framework of ebXML, and UN/CEFACT does on the contents. In our country, 30 vertical B2B markets are being constructed and most of them adopted ebXML as their main standard. In this situation, we need to make a guideline which can interconnect individual vertical B2B systems. In our study, we propose an architecture for i) Central Registry/Repository for the interconnection of between vertical B2Bs, between ebXML and non-ebXML, and between nations. ii) Information modeling for interconnection. iii) Distributed modeling. We hope our work could be extended by following discussion of academical and industrial researchers.

  • Value co-creation is an important business strategy these days in both the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) markets. The aim of this study was to identify specialized resources and competences for value co-creation in the relationship network within a high-tech B2B market. A case of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) with customers and partners was chosen as the study case. Based on the observations, contents analysis of the secondary data and unstructured interviews with former TSMC employees, 4 critical resource types (financial, knowledge, efficiency and intellectual resource) and 6 competence types (relational, collaboration, strategic, innovation, managing and service capability), were performed as the principal factors for value co-creation in the relationship network. A research framework that can analyze the value co-creation phenomena in the relationship network was established.

  • 전자상거래는 사람들에게 인터넷을 통하여 상품과 서비스를 구매할 수 있게 하였다. 초기의 전자상거래는 일반 소비자를 주요 판매 대상으로 하였다 그러나, 각각의 기업에서 인터넷이 모든 종류의 비즈니스 창구가 될 수 있음 인식하고 관심을 보이기 시작했다. 기업을 대상으로 하는 전자상거래를 B2B(Business to Business)라 한다. 그러나, B2B 분야가 아무리 더 큰 이익을 창출할 수 있다고 해도, 이를 실현하는데는 많은 문제점이 존재하고 있다. 현재 B2B 분야에서는 포괄적이면서도 단일화된 거래환경의 지원이 무엇보다 시급한 문제로 떠오르고 있다. 원활한 B2B 전자상거래 이루어지기 위해서는 세계적으로 인정되는 표준을 바탕으로 완벽한 상호운용성이 보장되며, 기업 내부의 환경에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 프레임워크 기술이 절실히 요구된다. 이러한 기업간 전자상거래의 문제를 해결하고자 하는 목적으로 많은 기업과 단체에서는 각자의 표준을 정립하고, 이를 지원하기 위한 프레임워크를 진행하고 있다. 현재까지 발표된 대표적인 프레임워크로는 CommerceNet의 eCo 프레임워크, RosettaNet, Microsoft의 BizTalk 프레임워크, UN/CEFACT와 OASIS의 듀 XML이 있다. 이들 대부분의 프레임워크들은 XML과 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 것이 특징이다. 본 고에서는 기업간 전자상거래에 관심을 가지고 있는 기업들에게 현재의 기술동향과 향후 방향 설정에 있어서 도움이 될 수 있기 위한 목적으로 현재 발표된 XML 기반 전자상거래 프레임 워크 기술과 향후전망에 대하여 기술한다.

  • Virtual environment is an interactive multimedia space that allows users to experience realistic sensory feedbacks and interactions as they do in real world. There have been some work on the development of two-dimensional user interface for supporting interactions in a virtual environment. However, most of them were designed for specific virtual environments and hence could not be easily deployed to other virtual worlds. To address this problem, some frameworks were developed for building two-dimensional user interfaces for virtual environment, but they had limitations in usability or flexibility. In this paper, we present the HIVE framework, which is designed to help ease the development of two-dimensional user interface for the virtual environment while satisfying the requirements of both usability and flexibility. The HIVE framework utilizes XML and scripting capability, dynamic module loading, XML and script language for usability. It provides module reading, configuration, and event processing mechanism for flexibility. This paper first explains the HIVE framework and describes the applications developed for some virtual environments followed by discussing the future research directions.

TiO2 Nano-doping Effect on Flux Pinning and Critical Current Density in an MgB2 Superconductor

  • We have studied the $TiO_2$ doping effects on the flux pinning behavior of an $MgB_2$ superconductor synthesized by the in-situ solid-state reaction. From the field-cooled and zero-field-cooled temperature dependences of magnetization, the reversible-irreversible transition of $TiO_2$-doped $MgB_2$ was determined in the H-T diagram (the temperature dependence of upper critical magnetic field and irreversibility line). For comparison, the similar measurements are also obtained from SiC-doped $MgB_2$. The critical current density was estimated from the width of hysteresis loops in the framework of Bean's model at different temperatures. The obtained results manifest that nano-scale $TiO_2$ inclusions served as effective pinning centers and lead to the enhanced upper critical field and critical current density. It was concluded that the grain boundary pinning mechanism was realized in a $TiO_2$-doped $MgB_2$ superconductor.

  • his paper describes the framework of integrating the business processes of different organizations through the interoperability of workflow management systems. In particular, this framework can be applied to developing B2B systems, in which each trade partner has its own heterogeneous workflow system on the Internet. We propose an approach to implementing an interoperable workflow system which can be integrated with other heterogeneous workflow systems through the four scenarios suggested by WfMC(Workflow Management Coalition), and we developed XML message-based prototype systems, which using SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol), is applicable to standard e-business framework such as ebXML.
