Development of Avionics Hot Bench for Avionics System Integration Test (항공전자 시스템 통합시험장비 개발)

  • In this paper, we present a development of an Avionics Hot Bench(AHB) used for the verification of operational flight programs and fault analysis using various simulation and stimulation software. We propose an application of the open system architecture to develop the AHB which can be used for the development of a real aircraft avionics system. In the design of the AHB, to reduce the development period and cost we use as many as commercial off-the-shelf hardware and software items. The developed AHB is compared with the existing proven AHB which was used for T-50 avionics system development. Thorough comparison between the test results using the developed AHB and those using the existing AHB is performed and the overall comparison results are very satisfactory.

  • Byteflight is developed based on RS-485 communication (an international standard), and it can be used as a data bus during the operation of an integrated avionics system in the latest aircraft. Therefore, the integrated avionics system can perform an effective and safe flight mission only when the accurate and seamless display of flight information, communication, and accurate functions of navigation are implemented. In this study, cause analysis and failure investigation were performed on screen abnormalities and communication interruptions due to signal interference in the Byteflight data bus of the integrated avionics system during aircraft operation. To improve signal interference between avionics units, the branch point and wiring path of the Byteflight data bus were changed, and the verification result of the improved method was also described.

  • Avionics corresponds to the brain, nerves and five senses of an aircraft, and consists of aircraft mounted electronic equipment of communication, identification, navigation, weapon, and display systems to perform flight and missions. It occupies about 50% of the aircraft system, and its importance is increasing as the technology based on the 4th industrial revolution is developed. As the development period of the aircraft is getting shorter, it is definitely necessary to develop a stable avionics SIL in a timely manner for the integration and verification of the avionics system. In this paper, we propose a method to replace the legacy SIL with the avionics simulation model framework based one and evaluate the framework based on the result of alternative application.

  • It is require to design the next generation avionics system while considering applicability under open architecture where standerd communication module is used. In this situation, if the existing schemes cannot guarantee new requirement, new system development is demanded. In this paper, we present design, implementation, and testing procedure for message based middleware to support operational flight program on avionics. System architecture include mission computer (MC) and large area display (LAD) over standard socket communication based on reliable Ethernet. Finally, experimental results demonstrate that the proposed middleware can guarantee real-time with 20msec as well as reliability requirements with no lost packet.

  • 코로나 19로 인하여 다중이용시설에 출입 시 정부 지침에 따라 QR코드 스캔, 출입 명부 작성, 체온 측정 등 방역절차를 지켜야한다. 본 연구에서는 방역 절차를 간편화하고 동합한 방역 시스템을 제안한다. QR코드 스캐너를 통하여 출입자의 신상 정보를 확인하며 체온 측정 모듈을 통하여 출입자의 체온을 측정한다. 추가적으로 워터펌프를 통하여 소독제를 분사하며 서보모터를 통하여 출입문을 열고 닫는다. 또한, 산업 현장에서는 알코올 측정 센서를 통하여 작업자의 알코올 수치를 측정하여 음주로 인한 산업사고도 예방한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 공항에서 보다 빠르고 편리한 체크인과 보딩을 위해 여러 가지 사업을 진행하고 있다. 우리는 그 중에서 수하물이 맡겨지고 이동하는 시스템에 주목했다. 수하물을 자동으로 분류하여 해당 항공기까지 전달하는 BHS시스템 등 다양한 시스템이 있었다. 현행 시스템에서 수하물 등록은 셀프로 간편하고 빠르게 등록할 수 있지만, 다시 찾아오는 과정이 너무 불편한 점과 수하물 분류는 알아서 하지만, 그 수하물을 컨테이너에 싣고 다시 운반하는 과정은 사람이 하는 등의 문제점에 주목을 했다. 우리의 전공 지식을 활용하여 이 문제점들을 해결해보고자 이러한 주제를 선정하게 되었다.

Design Verification of Environmental Control System by Flow Balance Test (유량평형시험을 통한 환경제어계통 설계 검증)

  • In this study, we analyzed the system impedance of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle avionics bay and Environmental Control System(ECS), and estimated the proper air flow rate to be supplied avionics equipments. As the result of estimation, we evaluated the performance of ECS after analysing the flow balance rate and the air flow rate about each outlet port, and simultaneously decided the flow balance rate after evaluating the thermal substantiality by the thermal analysis of avionics bay. In order to verify the property of analysis result, we conducted the flow balance test using the actual avionics equipments and finally deduced the flow rate to be met system requirements of avionics equipments. Also, as the analysis results, we verified the satisfaction of system requirements at midium altitude condition and proved the performance characteristics of an Environmental Control System(ECS).

  • In this paper, we survey the works related to the system architecture of avionics and extract characteristics from the related works. On the basis of the investigation, we propose an integrated modular avionics (IMA) architecture that can be used for current avionic upgrades and future avionic developments based on the IMA Core system. To verify the feasibility of the proposed IMA architecture, we have developed the prototype of the IMA Core system that consists of both the common hardware module and the IMA software. It was verified that the developed prototype with the common hardware module contributes to the improvement of maintainability because it can save the time and expenses for the development and can reduce the number of types of hardware modules when compared with Federated architecture. It was also confirmed that the developed prototype can save not only overall system weight, size, and power consumption but also the number of hardware types because the IMA software can support the integrated processing where the single processing hardware module can process multiple software applications.

  • 본 논문에서는 Arduino MEGA 2560을 이용하여 JSN270을 통한 와이파이 시스템으로 집안에 있는 모든 전자제품을 제어 할 수 있는 컨트롤 제어 시스템이다. 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 집 내부의 각종 전자기기, 센서, CCTV와 연동하여 사용자가 간편하게 구동 할 수 있고 또한 인체 감지 센서를 통해 상시 감시하여 움직임을 감지시 경보 시스템을 작동 시키도록 설계되어져 있다. Arduino MEGA 2560을 이용한 프로그래밍을 기반으로 와이파이를 통해 내부를 포함한 외부에서도 각종 전자 부품을 ON/OFF 시킬 수 있으며 Raspberry Pi를 통해 카메라로 집 내부, 외부를 확인하여 어플을 통해 도어락을 해제 시킬 수도 있다.

  • 현재 우리의 사회에는 인간보다 기계가 하는 것이 더 효율적인 일에 대해서 많은 부분이 자동화가 되어가고 있다. 그중 떠오르는 미래산업인 항공산업에서 원활한 이/착륙을 위해 승무원들이 항공기 내부를 돌아다니며 승객과 의자 등받이 체크를 하는 등의 과정에서 번거로움과 어느 정도의 시간이 걸리는 것에 대한 문제를 생각했고, 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 승객 탑승 여부, 승객 착석 여부, 안전벨트 착용 여부를 한눈에 볼 수 있게 표시하고, 승무원과 승객의 불필요한 말과 감정을 만드는 일이 줄어들어 승객과 근무하는 승무원 모두 쾌적하고 원활한 비행을 위해 본 연구를 추진하였다.
